祈求主的道快快傳開

3 最後，弟兄們，請為我們禱告，好叫主的道也像在你們那裡一樣快快傳開，得著榮耀， ²也使我們能夠脫離那些不講理的惡人，因為不是人人都有信心。 ³主是信實的，他必堅定你們，保護你們脫離那惡者。 ⁴我們靠著主深深相信，你們現在以及將來都會遵行我們所吩咐的， ⁵願主引導你們的心，使你們有　神的愛和基督的堅忍。

不可游手好閒

⁶弟兄們，我們奉主耶穌基督的名吩咐你們，凡是游手好閒的弟兄，不按著你們從我們所領受的教訓去行，就應當遠離他。 ⁷你們自己本來就知道應當怎樣效法我們，因為我們在你們中間並沒有游手好閒， ⁸也沒有白吃過誰的飯，反而辛苦勞碌，晝夜作工，免得加重你們任何一人的負擔。 ⁹這不是因為我們沒有權利，而是要給你們作榜樣，好讓你們效法我們。 ¹⁰我們在你們那裡的時候，曾經吩咐過你們，如果有人不肯作工，就不可吃飯。 ¹¹因為我們聽說，你們中間有人游手好閒，甚麼工也不作，反倒專管閒事。 ¹²我們靠著主耶穌基督，吩咐勸戒這樣的人，要安靜作工，自食其力。 ¹³弟兄們，你們行善不可灰心。 ¹⁴如果有人不聽從我們這封信上的訓勉，要把這個人記下來，不可和他來往，好叫他自己覺得慚愧。 ¹⁵但不要把他看作仇敵，卻要勸他好像勸弟兄一樣。

¹⁶願賜平安的主親自隨時隨地賜平安給你們。願主與你們眾人同在。

¹⁷我保羅親筆問候你們。這是我每一封信的記號；我的筆跡就是這樣。 ¹⁸願我們主耶穌基督的恩惠與你們眾人同在。

为我们祈祷

3 最后，兄弟们，请为我们祈祷，让主的信息得到迅速地传播，并得到赞美，就像在你们中间发生的那样； ²也请为我们祈祷，让我们从邪恶的人们中解救出来。（不是所有的人都信主。）

³主是守信的，他会给你们力量，保护你们不受魔鬼的侵害。 ⁴我们在主内对你们有信心，并相信你们正在坚持做我们吩咐你们做的事情，并将继续做下去。 ⁵愿主引导你们的心归于上帝的爱和基督的忍耐。

工作义务

⁶兄弟们，我们现在以我们主耶稣基督的名义命令你们，要疏远那些过懒散生活和不遵守从我们这里领受到教导的人。 ⁷因为你们明白，应该如何效仿我们，我们在你们中间不曾懒惰， ⁸也没有吃东西不付账，相反，我们日夜辛劳，为的是不给你们任何人增添负担。 ⁹这并非因为我们无权要求你们的帮助，而是要给你们树立一个榜样，使你们可以模仿。 ¹⁰所以，我们和你们在一起时，给了你们这条规则∶“不劳者不得食。”

¹¹我们说这些，是因为我们听说你们中间有人生活懒散，游手好闲，专管别人的事。 ¹²我们在主耶稣基督里命令和督促这些人，他们应该安静地工作，自食其力。 ¹³不过，兄弟们，做为你们不要放弃行善。

¹⁴如果有人不服从这封信里我们的指示，那么就记住他，不要跟他来往，让他感到惭愧。 ¹⁵但是，不要像对待敌人一样对待他，而是应该像对待兄弟一样警告他。

最后的话

¹⁶愿主，和平之源时时处处赐予你们平安。愿主与你们所有的人同在。

¹⁷我，保罗亲笔写下了这问候。这是我签每封信和写每封信的方式。

2 Thessalonians 3

Pray for Us

3 Finally, brethren, ^(A)pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you, ²and ^(B)that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; ^(C)for not all have faith.

³But ^(D)the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and ^(E)guard you from the evil one. ⁴And ^(F)we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, both that you do and will do the things we command you.

⁵Now may ^(G)the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.

Warning Against Idleness

⁶But we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, ^(H)that you withdraw ^(I)from every brother who walks ^(J)disorderly and not according to the tradition which ^[a]he received from us. ⁷For you yourselves know how you ought to follow us, for we were not disorderly among you; ⁸nor did we eat anyone’s bread ^[b]free of charge, but worked with ^(K)labor and toil night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, ⁹not because we do not have ^(L)authority, but to make ourselves an example of how you should follow us.

¹⁰For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. ¹¹For we hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are ^(M)busybodies. ¹²Now those who are such we command and ^[c]exhort through our Lord Jesus Christ ^(N)that they work in quietness and eat their own bread.

¹³But as for you, brethren, ^(O)do not grow weary in doing good. ¹⁴And if anyone does not obey our word in this ^[d]epistle, note that person and ^(P)do not keep company with him, that he may be ashamed. ¹⁵^(Q)Yet do not count him as an enemy, ^(R)but ^[e]admonish him as a brother.

Benediction

¹⁶Now may ^(S)the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all.

¹⁷^(T)The salutation of Paul with my own hand, which is a sign in every ^[f]epistle; so I write.
