1 我保罗同西拉和提摩太写信给帖撒罗尼迦属于我们父上帝和主耶稣基督的教会。

2 愿我们的父上帝和主耶稣基督赐给你们恩典和平安！

感恩与劝勉

3 弟兄姊妹，我们应当为你们常常感谢上帝，这是合宜的，因为你们的信心不断增长，彼此相爱的心也不断增加。 4 因此，我们在上帝的众教会中夸奖你们在各种迫害和患难中的坚忍和信心。 5 你们这种表现正是上帝公义审判的明证，使你们配进上帝的国，你们正在为这国受苦。

6 上帝是公义的，祂必以患难来报应那些迫害你们的人。 7 当主耶稣和祂大能的天使在烈焰中从天上显现时，祂必使你们这些受苦的人和我们同得安慰， 8 惩罚那些不认识上帝、不听从有关我们主耶稣之福音的人。 9 那些人要受的刑罚就是离开主的面和祂荣耀的权能，永远灭亡。 10 主降临的那日，祂要在祂的众圣徒中得到荣耀，使所有的信徒惊叹不已。你们也会在当中，因为你们相信了我们做的见证。

11 因此，我们常常为你们祷告，愿我们的上帝看你们配得祂的呼召，用大能成全你们一切美好的心愿和凭信心所做的工作。 12 这样，按照我们的上帝和主耶稣基督所赐的恩典，主耶稣基督的名便在你们身上得到荣耀，你们也在祂身上得到荣耀。

1 ¶ Pablo, y Silvano, y Timoteo, a la Iglesia de los tesalonicenses congregada en Dios nuestro Padre y en el Señor nuestro, Jesús el Cristo:

2 Gracia y paz tengáis de Dios nuestro Padre y del Señor Jesús el Cristo.

3 Debemos siempre dar gracias a Dios por vosotros, hermanos, como es digno, por cuanto vuestra fe va creciendo, y la caridad de todos y cada uno de vosotros abunda entre vosotros;

4 tanto, que nosotros mismos nos gloriamos de vosotros en las Iglesias de Dios, de vuestra paciencia y fe en todas vuestras persecuciones y tribulaciones que sufrís;

5 ¶ en testimonio del justo juicio de Dios, para que seáis tenidos por dignos del Reino de Dios, por el cual asimismo padecéis.

6 Porque es justo acerca de Dios pagar con tribulación a los que os atribulan;

7 y a vosotros, que sois atribulados, daros reposo con nosotros, cuando se manifieste el Señor Jesús del cielo con los ángeles de su potencia,

8 con llama de fuego, para dar el pago a los que no conocieron a Dios, ni obedecen al Evangelio del Señor nuestro, Jesús el Cristo;

9 los cuales serán castigados de eterna perdición por la presencia del Señor, y por la gloria de su potencia,

10 cuando viniere para ser glorificado en sus santos, y a hacerse admirable en aquel día en todos los que creyeron (por cuanto nuestro testimonio ha sido creído entre vosotros);

11 ¶ por lo cual, asimismo oramos siempre por vosotros, que nuestro Dios os tenga por dignos de su llamado, y llene de bondad a cada voluntad, y a toda obra de fe con potencia,

12 para que el Nombre del Señor nuestro, Jesús el Cristo sea clarificado en vosotros, y vosotros en él, por la gracia de nuestro Dios y del Señor Jesús el Cristo.

1 From Sha’ul and Silvanus (Sila) and Timotiyos. To the Kehillah of the inhabitants of the city of Thessalonika, the Kehillah in Hashem, in Elohim Avinu and Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach Yehoshua Adoneinu,

2 Chen v’Chesed Hashem to you and Shalom from Elohim Avinu and Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach Yehoshua Adoneinu.

3 With continuous hodayah (thanksgiving) we ought to make brachot to Hashem concerning you, Achim b’Moshiach, as is fitting, because your emunah is increasing abundantly and the ahavah (agape) every one of you has for the other is growing.

4 Therefore, we ourselves glory in you in all the kehillot of Hashem for your zitzfleisch (patience) and emunah in all the redifot (persecutions) and the tzoros you are enduring.

5 This is kluhr (obvious) that here is a manifest siman (sign, indication) of the yashar mishpat (righteous judgment) of Hashem intended for you to be deemed worthy of the Malchut Hashem, on behalf of which also you undergo [Chevlei Moshiach] yissurim.

6 Indeed it is tzaddik (a thing examined and found to be right) for Hashem to repay with tzarah (tribulation) those who bring tzarah (tribulation) on you

7 And to recompense you, the ones suffering tzarah (tribulation), with revachah (relief) along with us at the Apocalypse of [Moshiach] Yehoshua Adoneinu from Shomayim with the malachim of his oz (power)

8 BELAHAVEI EISH ("in flaming fire" YESHAYAH 66:15), giving Onesh to the ones not knowing Hashem and to the ones not obeying the Besuras HaGeulah of [Moshiach] Yehoshua Adoneinu.

9 These are the ones who will pay an Onesh of Avaddon Olam (Eternal Destruction [Gehinnom]) away from the Shechinah of Hashem UMEHADAR GE’ONO ("and from the splendor of his majesty" YESHAYAH 2:19),

10 When He comes to be glorified in His Kadoshim and to be marveled at in all the ma’aminim [in Moshiach] because our [martyr’s] eidus (T.N. The word can mean witness al kiddush ha-Shem) to you was believed in YOM HAHU ("that Day" YESHAYAH 2:11).

11 To this end also we make tefillos always concerning you that Eloheinu may count you worthy of the Kri’ah (Calling) and by His gevurah may fulfill every chafetz hatov (good desire) and ma’aseh haemunah (work of faith)

12 In order that ha-Shem (the Name) of [Moshiach] Adoneinu Yehoshua may be glorified in you, and you, in him [Moshiach], according to the unmerited Chen v’Chesed of Eloheinu and Moshiach Yehoshua Adoneinu.

1 Paul, Silas[a](A) and Timothy,(B)

To the church of the Thessalonians(C) in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:

2 Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.(D)

Thanksgiving and Prayer

3 We ought always to thank God for you,(E) brothers and sisters,[b] and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.(F) 4 Therefore, among God’s churches we boast(G) about your perseverance and faith(H) in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring.(I)

5 All this is evidence(J) that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy(K) of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering. 6 God is just:(L) He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you(M) 7 and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven(N) in blazing fire(O) with his powerful angels.(P) 8 He will punish(Q) those who do not know God(R) and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.(S) 9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction(T) and shut out from the presence of the Lord(U) and from the glory of his might(V) 10 on the day(W) he comes to be glorified(X) in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.(Y)

11 With this in mind, we constantly pray for you,(Z) that our God may make you worthy(AA) of his calling,(AB) and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness(AC) and your every deed prompted by faith.(AD) 12 We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you,(AE) and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.[c]
