4 事实上，我们还在你们那里的时候，早就不断地告诉你们，我们将要受患难，这果然应验了，就像你们所知道的那样。 5 为此，我既然不能再等了，就派提摩太[a]去，要知道你们的信仰怎样，恐怕那试探者诱惑了你们，我们所劳苦的落了空。
