27 因着信，他不怕王的愤怒，离开了埃及，因为他恒心忍耐，如同看见了不可见的那一位。 28 因着信，他立[a]了逾越节和洒血的礼，免得那毁灭长子[b]的碰以色列人[c]。 29 因着信，他们走过了红海，像走过干地那样；埃及人试着这样做，就被吞灭了。

27 By faith he left Egypt,(A) not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible. 28 By faith he kept the Passover and the application of blood, so that the destroyer(B) of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel.(C)
29 By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned.(D)
