13 And Gideon said to him, “Please, my lord, if the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are (A)all his wonderful deeds (B)that our fathers recounted to us, saying, ‘Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt?’ But now the Lord has forsaken us and given us into the hand of Midian.” 14 And the Lord[a] turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours and save Israel from the hand of Midian; (C)do not I send you?” 15 And he said to him, (D)“Please, Lord, how can I save Israel? Behold, (E)my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house.”

And where are all His wondrous works which our fathers told us about when they said, ‘Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt?’ But now the Lord has abandoned us and put us into the hand of Midian.” 14 The Lord turned to him and said, “Go in this strength of yours and save Israel from the hand of Midian. Have I not sent you?” 15 But Gideon said to Him, “Please Lord, how am I to rescue Israel? Behold, my family is the least [significant] in Manasseh, and I am the youngest (smallest) in my father’s house.”

Where are all his wonders(A) that our ancestors told(B) us about when they said, ‘Did not the Lord bring us up out of Egypt?’ But now the Lord has abandoned(C) us and given us into the hand of Midian.”
14 The Lord turned to him and said, “Go in the strength you have(D) and save(E) Israel out of Midian’s hand. Am I not sending you?”
15 “Pardon me, my lord,” Gideon replied, “but how can I save Israel? My clan(F) is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family.(G)”
