10 亞比米勒以後，陀拉興起，拯救以色列，他是朵多的孫子，普瓦的兒子，以薩迦人，住在以法蓮山區的沙密。 2 陀拉作以色列的士師二十三年。他死了，葬在沙密。
睚珥
3 陀拉以後有基列人睚珥興起，作以色列的士師二十二年。 4 他有三十個兒子，騎着三十匹驢駒。他們有三十座城，叫作哈倭特‧睚珥，直到如今，都在基列地。 5 睚珥死了，葬在加們。
耶弗他
6 以色列人又行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，去事奉諸巴力和亞斯她錄，以及亞蘭的神明、西頓的神明、摩押的神明、亞捫人的神明、非利士人的神明。他們離棄耶和華，不事奉他。 7 耶和華的怒氣向以色列發作，把他們交給非利士人和亞捫人的手中。 8 從那年起，他們欺壓迫害以色列人，在約旦河東，亞摩利人境內，基列一帶所有的以色列人，長達十八年。 9 亞捫人渡過約旦河去攻打猶大和便雅憫，以及以法蓮家族。以色列的處境非常困苦。
10 以色列人哀求耶和華說：「我們得罪了你，因為我們離棄了我們的 神，去事奉諸巴力。」 11 耶和華對以色列人說：「我豈沒有救你們脫離埃及人、亞摩利人、亞捫人和非利士人嗎？ 12 西頓人、亞瑪力人和馬雲人[a]欺壓你們，你們哀求我，我也拯救你們脫離他們的手。 13 你們竟離棄我去事奉別神！所以我不再救你們了。 14 你們去哀求你們所選擇的神明；你們遭遇急難的時候，讓它們救你們吧！」 15 以色列人對耶和華說：「我們犯罪了，照你看為好的待我們，只求你今日拯救我們吧！」 16 以色列人就除掉他們中間的外邦神明，事奉耶和華。耶和華因以色列所受的苦難而心裏焦急。
17 亞捫人被召來，在基列安營；以色列人也聚集，在米斯巴安營。 18 基列百姓中的領袖彼此說：「誰領先出去攻打亞捫人，誰就作基列所有居民的領袖。」

10 亚比米勒死后，以萨迦人陀拉拯救了以色列人。他住在以法莲山区的沙密，祖父是朵多，父亲是普瓦。 2 陀拉做士师二十三年，死后葬在沙密。
3 之后，基列人雅珥做士师二十二年。 4 他有三十个儿子，每人骑一头驴。他们在基列拥有三十座城，那些城到现在还叫“雅珥之城”。 5 雅珥死后，葬在加们。
以色列人因犯罪而受罚
6 后来，以色列人又做耶和华视为恶的事，祭拜巴力和亚斯她录，又拜亚兰、西顿、摩押、亚扪和非利士的神明。他们背弃耶和华，不再事奉祂。 7 耶和华向他们发怒，把他们交在非利士人和亚扪人手中。 8 那年，非利士人和亚扪人击垮了以色列人，压迫基列地区、约旦河东亚摩利境内的以色列人达十八年。 9 亚扪人还渡过约旦河攻击犹大、便雅悯和以法莲支派，使以色列人苦不堪言。 10 于是，他们呼求耶和华说：“我们背弃我们的上帝去祭拜巴力，我们得罪了你。” 11 耶和华对他们说：“你们受埃及人、亚摩利人、亚扪人、非利士人、 12 西顿人、亚玛力人和马云人的压迫，就呼求我，我岂没有拯救你们吗？ 13 但你们竟背弃我，去事奉别的神明，所以我不再救你们。 14 你们去呼求自己选择的神明吧！你们有难，让他们救你们吧！” 15 他们对耶和华说：“我们犯了罪，任你处置我们，只求你今天拯救我们。” 16 以色列人除掉了他们的外邦神像，转而事奉耶和华。耶和华不忍再看以色列人受苦。
17 当时，亚扪人整装备战，在基列安营；以色列人也集合起来，在米斯巴安营。 18 基列的首领们彼此商议说：“谁先攻打亚扪人，谁就做所有基列人的首领。”

10 And after Abimelech there arose to defend Israel Tola the son of Puah, the son of Dodo, a man of Issachar; and he dwelt in Shamir in mount Ephraim.
2 And he judged Israel twenty and three years, and died, and was buried in Shamir.
3 And after him arose Jair, a Gileadite, and judged Israel twenty and two years.
4 And he had thirty sons that rode on thirty ass colts, and they had thirty cities, which are called Havothjair unto this day, which are in the land of Gilead.
5 And Jair died, and was buried in Camon.
6 And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the Lord, and served Baalim, and Ashtaroth, and the gods of Syria, and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines, and forsook the Lord, and served not him.
7 And the anger of the Lord was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hands of the Philistines, and into the hands of the children of Ammon.
8 And that year they vexed and oppressed the children of Israel: eighteen years, all the children of Israel that were on the other side Jordan in the land of the Amorites, which is in Gilead.
9 Moreover the children of Ammon passed over Jordan to fight also against Judah, and against Benjamin, and against the house of Ephraim; so that Israel was sore distressed.
10 And the children of Israel cried unto the Lord, saying, We have sinned against thee, both because we have forsaken our God, and also served Baalim.
11 And the Lord said unto the children of Israel, Did not I deliver you from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?
12 The Zidonians also, and the Amalekites, and the Maonites, did oppress you; and ye cried to me, and I delivered you out of their hand.
13 Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more.
14 Go and cry unto the gods which ye have chosen; let them deliver you in the time of your tribulation.
15 And the children of Israel said unto the Lord, We have sinned: do thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto thee; deliver us only, we pray thee, this day.
16 And they put away the strange gods from among them, and served the Lord: and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.
17 Then the children of Ammon were gathered together, and encamped in Gilead. And the children of Israel assembled themselves together, and encamped in Mizpeh.
18 And the people and princes of Gilead said one to another, What man is he that will begin to fight against the children of Ammon? he shall be head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.
