7 And Adonibezek said, Threescore and ten kings, having their thumbs and their great toes cut off, gathered their meat under my table: as I have done, so God hath requited me. And they brought him to Jerusalem, and there he died.
8 Now the children of Judah had fought against Jerusalem, and had taken it, and smitten it with the edge of the sword, and set the city on fire.
9 And afterward the children of Judah went down to fight against the Canaanites, that dwelt in the mountain, and in the south, and in the valley.

7 And Adoni-Bezek said, “Seventy kings with their thumbs and big toes cut off used to gather scraps under my table; (A)as I have done, so God has repaid me.” Then they brought him to Jerusalem, and there he died.
8 Now (B)the children of Judah fought against Jerusalem and took it; they struck it with the edge of the sword and set the city on fire. 9 (C)And afterward the children of Judah went down to fight against the Canaanites who dwelt in the mountains, in the [a]South, and in the lowland.

Judges 1:7-9
New International Version
7 Then Adoni-Bezek said, “Seventy kings with their thumbs and big toes cut off have picked up scraps under my table. Now God has paid me back(A) for what I did to them.” They brought him to Jerusalem,(B) and he died there.
8 The men of Judah attacked Jerusalem(C) also and took it. They put the city to the sword and set it on fire.
9 After that, Judah went down to fight against the Canaanites living in the hill country,(D) the Negev(E) and the western foothills.
