羔羊與封印的書卷
5 接著，我看見坐在寶座上的那位右手拿著一卷內外寫著字、用七個印封住的書。 2 有一位大力天使高聲問道：「誰有資格揭開那七個封印，打開那卷書？」 3 可是，天上、地上、甚至地底下都沒有人有資格揭開並閱讀那卷書。 4 我見無人有資格揭開並閱讀那卷書，便放聲大哭。 5 有一位長老對我說：「不要哭。你看，猶大支派的獅子、大衛的根已經得勝了！祂能揭開那七個封印，打開那卷書。」
6 我又看到寶座、四個活物和眾長老之間站著一隻好像是被宰殺過的羔羊。祂身上的七隻角和七隻眼睛代表奉差遣到普天下去的上帝的七靈。 7 那羔羊走上前去，從坐在寶座上的那位右手中接過書卷。 8 祂拿過書卷後，四個活物和二十四位長老就俯伏在羔羊面前，各拿著豎琴和盛滿了香的金香爐。那些香就是眾聖徒的祈禱。 9 他們唱著一首新歌：
「你配拿書卷並揭開封印，
因你曾被殺，
用你的血從各部落、各語言族群、各民族、各國家，
將人買贖回來歸給上帝。
10 你又使他們成為上帝的國度和祭司，
他們要在地上執掌王權。」
11 我看見寶座、四個活物和眾長老的周圍有千千萬萬的天使，又聽見他們高聲呼喊： 12 「那被殺的羔羊配得權柄、財富、智慧、能力、尊貴、榮耀和頌讚！」
13 我又聽到天上、地上、地底下和海洋中一切被造之物同聲說：「願頌讚、尊貴、榮耀和權柄都歸於坐在寶座上的那位和羔羊，直到永永遠遠！」 14 四個活物就說：「阿們！」眾長老也俯伏敬拜。

谁能打开起封开卷
5 然后，我看到坐在宝座上的人，右手拿着一卷正反两面都写着字、并用七个印封住的书轴。 2 我又看见一个强壮的天使高声问道∶“谁配启封开卷？” 3 可是天上、地上、地下没有一个人能打开卷轴，阅读它，因为没人有资格启封开卷并阅读它。 4 对此，我痛哭不己。 5 随后一位长老对我说∶“别哭了。看！犹大支派的狮子，大卫的后代获胜了，他能揭开七个印，打开那书卷。”
6 接着，我看见一只羔羊站在宝座前，那四个生物和长老围绕着它。羔羊看上去好像已被祭献过了。它长着七只角，七只眼，代表着被派到地上去的上帝的七个灵。 7 然后，这羔羊走过来，从坐在宝座上的那位的右手中接过卷轴。 8 羔羊一拿到卷轴，四个生物和二十四个长老都跪在羔羊面前。他们每人手拿一把竖琴和盛满香的金碗，这香就是上帝子民的祷告。 9 他们唱着一首新歌：
“你配拿卷轴，并开启封印，
因为你做为祭物被杀；
用鲜血为上帝赎回了子民，
他们来自各支派，说各种语言，
属于不同的民族和国家。
10 你让他们组成一个王国，
并使他们成为供职上帝的祭司。
在地上执掌王权。”
11 接着，我看到，并听到众多天使的声音，他们围绕在宝座、四个生物和长老的周围，天使的数目有成千上万个，数不胜数。 12 他们齐声高呼：
“被杀害的羔羊配得上
权力、财富、智慧、力量、尊崇、荣耀和赞美！”
13 然后，我又听到天上、地上，地下和水中一切被造之物－整个宇宙的生物说：
“赞美、尊崇、荣耀和权力永远属于
坐在宝座上的他和这只羔羊。”
14 四个生物回答道∶“阿们！”长老们纷纷俯伏敬拜。

5 Vi en la mano derecha del que estaba sentado sobre el trono, un libro[a] escrito por dentro y por fuera, sellado con siete sellos. 2 También vi a un ángel poderoso que proclamaba a gran voz: “¿Quién es digno de abrir el libro y de desatar sus sellos?”. 3 Pero ninguno, ni en el cielo ni en la tierra ni debajo de la tierra, podía abrir el libro; ni siquiera mirarlo. 4 Y yo lloraba mucho, porque ninguno fue hallado digno de abrir el libro[b]; ni siquiera de mirarlo. 5 Y uno de los ancianos me dijo: “No llores. He aquí el León de la tribu de Judá, la Raíz de David, ha vencido para abrir el libro y sus siete sellos”.
6 Y en medio del trono y de los cuatro seres vivientes y de los ancianos vi un Cordero de pie, como inmolado. Tenía siete cuernos y siete ojos, que son los siete Espíritus de Dios enviados a toda la tierra. 7 Él fue y tomó el libro de la mano derecha del que estaba sentado en el trono. 8 Cuando tomó el libro, los cuatro seres vivientes y los veinticuatro ancianos se postraron delante del Cordero. Cada uno tenía un arpa y copas de oro llenas de incienso, que son las oraciones de los santos. 9 Ellos entonaban un cántico nuevo, diciendo:
“¡Digno eres de tomar el libro
y de abrir sus sellos!
Porque tú fuiste inmolado
y con tu sangre has redimido
para Dios gente[c] de toda raza, lengua, pueblo y nación.
10 Tú los has constituido en un reino
y sacerdotes para nuestro Dios,
y reinarán[d] sobre la tierra”.
11 Y miré, y oí la voz de muchos ángeles alrededor del trono y de los seres vivientes y de los ancianos. El número de ellos era miríadas de miríadas y millares de millares. 12 Y decían a gran voz:
“Digno es el Cordero,
que fue inmolado,
de recibir el poder,
las riquezas, la sabiduría,
la fortaleza, la honra,
la gloria y la alabanza”.
13 Y oí a toda criatura que está en el cielo y sobre la tierra y debajo de la tierra y en el mar, y a todas las cosas que hay en ellos, diciendo:
“Al que está sentado en el trono
y al Cordero
sean la bendición y la honra
y la gloria y el poder
por los siglos de los siglos”.
14 Los cuatro seres vivientes decían: “¡Amén!”. Y los veinticuatro ancianos se postraron y adoraron[e].

The Lamb Takes the Scroll
5 And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne (A)a scroll written inside and on the back, (B)sealed with seven seals. 2 Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, (C)“Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?” 3 And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it.
4 So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open [a]and read the scroll, or to look at it. 5 But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, (D)the Lion of the tribe of (E)Judah, (F)the Root of David, has (G)prevailed to open the scroll (H)and [b]to loose its seven seals.”
6 And I looked, [c]and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood (I)a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and (J)seven eyes, which are (K)the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. 7 Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand (L)of Him who sat on the throne.
Worthy Is the Lamb
8 Now when He had taken the scroll, (M)the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the (N)prayers of the saints. 9 And (O)they sang a new song, saying:
(P)“You are worthy to take the scroll,
And to open its seals;
For You were slain,
And (Q)have redeemed us to God (R)by Your blood
Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
10 And have made [d]us (S)kings[e] and (T)priests to our God;
And [f]we shall reign on the earth.”
11 Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, 12 saying with a loud voice:
“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
To receive power and riches and wisdom,
And strength and honor and glory and blessing!”
13 And (U)every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:
(V)“Blessing and honor and glory and power
Be to Him (W)who sits on the throne,
And to the Lamb, forever and [g]ever!”
14 Then the four living creatures said, “Amen!” And the [h]twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped [i]Him who lives forever and ever.
