¹³其实我这样说^[a]不是为了让别人轻松、你们为难，而是为了公平—— ¹⁴在现今的时刻，你们的富余可以补他们的缺乏，好使将来^[b]他们的富余也可以补你们的缺乏，这样就公平了。 ¹⁵正如经上所记：

“多收的没有增多，
少收的也没有缺少。”^[c]

¹³Our desire is not that others might be relieved while you are hard pressed, but that there might be equality. ¹⁴At the present time your plenty will supply what they need,^(A) so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. The goal is equality, ¹⁵as it is written: “The one who gathered much did not have too much, and the one who gathered little did not have too little.”^[a]^(B)
