2 我自己定了主意，再到你们那里去，必须大家没有忧愁。 2 倘若我叫你们忧愁，除了我叫那忧愁的人以外，谁能叫我快乐呢？ 3 我曾把这事写给你们，恐怕我到的时候，应该叫我快乐的那些人反倒叫我忧愁。我也深信，你们众人都以我的快乐为自己的快乐。 4 我先前心里难过痛苦，多多地流泪写信给你们，不是叫你们忧愁，乃是叫你们知道我格外地疼爱你们。
当赦免受责的人
5 若有叫人忧愁的，他不但叫我忧愁，也是叫你们众人有几分忧愁——我说几分，恐怕说得太重。 6 这样的人，受了众人的责罚也就够了， 7 倒不如赦免他，安慰他，免得他忧愁太过，甚至沉沦了。 8 所以我劝你们，要向他显出坚定不移的爱心来。 9 为此我先前也写信给你们，要试验你们，看你们凡事顺从不顺从。 10 你们赦免谁，我也赦免谁。我若有所赦免的，是在基督面前为你们赦免的， 11 免得撒旦趁着机会胜过我们，因我们并非不晓得他的诡计。
12 我从前为基督的福音到了特罗亚，主也给我开了门， 13 那时因为没有遇见兄弟提多，我心里不安，便辞别那里的人往马其顿去了。

14 感谢神，常率领我们在基督里夸胜，并借着我们在各处显扬那因认识基督而有的香气。 15 因为我们在神面前，无论在得救的人身上或灭亡的人身上，都有基督馨香之气。 16 在这等人，就做了死的香气叫他死；在那等人，就做了活的香气叫他活。这事谁能当得起呢？ 17 我们不像那许多人，为利混乱神的道，乃是由于诚实，由于神，在神面前凭着基督讲道。

2 Corinthians 2
GOD’S WORD Translation
2 I decided not to visit you again while I was distressed. 2 After all, if I had made you uncomfortable, how could you have cheered me up when you were uncomfortable?
3 This is the very reason I wrote to you. I didn’t want to visit you and be distressed by those who should make me happy. I’m confident about all of you that whatever makes me happy also makes you happy.
4 I was deeply troubled and anguished. In fact, I had tears in my eyes when I wrote to you. I didn’t write to make you uncomfortable but to let you know how much I love you.
Forgive the Person Who Sinned
5 If someone caused distress, I’m not the one really affected. To some extent—although I don’t want to emphasize this too much—it has affected all of you. 6 The majority of you have imposed a severe enough punishment on that person. 7 So now forgive and comfort him. Such distress could overwhelm someone like that if he’s not forgiven and comforted. 8 That is why I urge you to assure him that you love him. 9 I had also written to you to test you. I wanted to see if you would be obedient in every way.
10 If you forgive someone, so do I. Indeed, what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, I did in the presence of Christ for your benefit. 11 I don’t want Satan to outwit us. After all, we are not ignorant about Satan’s scheming.
Paul’s Mission as Christ’s Spokesman
12 When I went to the city of Troas, the Lord gave me an opportunity to spread the Good News about Christ. 13 But I didn’t have any peace of mind, because I couldn’t find Titus, our brother, there. So I said goodbye to the people in Troas and went to the province of Macedonia.
14 But I thank God, who always leads us in victory because of Christ. Wherever we go, God uses us to make clear what it means to know Christ. It’s like a fragrance that fills the air. 15 To God we are the aroma of Christ among those who are saved and among those who are dying. 16 To some people we are a deadly fragrance, while to others we are a life-giving fragrance.
Who is qualified to tell about Christ? 17 At least we don’t go around selling an impure word of God like many others. The opposite is true. As Christ’s spokesmen and in God’s presence, we speak the pure message that comes from God.

2 En efecto, decidí no haceros otra visita que os causara tristeza. 2 Porque, si yo os entristezco, ¿quién me brindará alegría sino aquel a quien yo haya entristecido? 3 Os escribí como lo hice para que, al llegar yo, los que debían alegrarme no me causaran tristeza. Estaba confiado de que todos vosotros haríais vuestra mi alegría. 4 Os escribí con gran tristeza y angustia de corazón, y con muchas lágrimas, no para entristeceros, sino para daros a conocer la profundidad del amor que os tengo.
Perdón para el pecador
5 Si alguno ha causado tristeza, no me la ha causado solo a mí; hasta cierto punto —y lo digo para no exagerar— se la ha causado a todos vosotros. 6 Para él es suficiente el castigo que le impuso la mayoría. 7 Más bien debierais perdonarlo y consolarlo para que no sea consumido por la excesiva tristeza. 8 Por eso os ruego que reafirméis vuestro amor hacia él. 9 Con este propósito os escribí: para ver si pasáis la prueba de la completa obediencia. 10 A quien vosotros perdonéis, yo también lo perdono. De hecho, si había algo que perdonar, lo he perdonado por consideración a vosotros en presencia de Cristo, 11 para que Satanás no se aproveche de nosotros, pues no ignoramos sus artimañas.
Ministros del nuevo pacto
12 Ahora bien, cuando llegué a Troas para predicar el evangelio de Cristo, descubrí que el Señor me había abierto las puertas. 13 Aun así, me sentí intranquilo por no haber encontrado allí a mi hermano Tito, por lo cual me despedí de ellos y me fui a Macedonia.
14 Sin embargo, gracias a Dios que en Cristo siempre nos lleva triunfantes[a] y, por medio de nosotros, esparce por todas partes la fragancia de su conocimiento. 15 Porque para Dios nosotros somos el aroma de Cristo entre los que se salvan y entre los que se pierden. 16 Para estos somos olor de muerte que los lleva a la muerte; para aquellos, olor de vida que los lleva a la vida. ¿Y quién es competente para semejante tarea? 17 A diferencia de muchos, nosotros no somos de los que trafican con la palabra de Dios. Más bien, hablamos con sinceridad delante de él en Cristo, como enviados de Dios que somos.
