信仰的基础

2 弟兄姊妹，我当初到你们那里传扬上帝的奥秘，并没有用高深的言论或哲理。 2 因为我已决定在你们当中不谈别的，只讲耶稣基督和祂被钉十字架的事。 3 那时我在你们当中很软弱，害怕，战战兢兢。 4 我说话、讲道不是靠充满智慧的雄辩之词，而是靠圣灵的能力作明证， 5 好使你们的信仰不是以人的智慧为基础，而是以上帝的能力为基础。

6 当然我们也跟成熟的人谈论智慧，不过并非这个世代的智慧，也不是那些在世上当权、将来要衰亡之人的智慧。 7 我们所讲的是上帝隐藏在奥秘中的智慧，是祂为了使我们得荣耀而在万世以前定好的智慧。 8 只可惜世上当权的人没有一个明白这智慧。他们要是明白，就不会把荣耀的主钉在十字架上了。 9 正如圣经上说：

“上帝为爱祂的人所预备的，
是眼睛未曾见过，
耳朵未曾听闻，
人心也未曾想到的。”

10 然而，上帝借着圣灵将这一切启示给我们，因为圣灵洞悉万事，连上帝深奥的事都了如指掌。 11 除了人里面的灵，谁能了解人的事呢？照样，除了上帝的圣灵，谁也不能了解上帝的事。 12 我们接受的不是这世界的灵，而是上帝的圣灵，使我们可以领会上帝开恩启示给我们的事。 13 我们讲述这些事，不是用人类智慧所教的话，而是用圣灵所教的话，用属灵的话解释属灵的事[a]。

14 然而，属血气的人不接受从上帝来的圣灵的教导，认为愚不可及，无法明白，因为只有属灵的人才能参透。 15 属灵的人能够参透万事，但没有人能参透他。

16 “谁曾知道主的心意，
能够指教祂呢？”

但我们明白基督的心意。

And I Came To You Proclaiming Christ Crucified Without Human Eloquence Or Wisdom

2 And I, having come[a] to you, brothers, did not come in accordance with superiority[b] of speech or of wisdom while proclaiming to you the mystery of God. 2 For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ— and this One having been crucified. 3 And I was[c] with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my proclamation was not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration[d] of [e] the Spirit and power, 5 in order that your faith might not be in the wisdom of humans but in the power of God.

Yet We Are Speaking God’s Wisdom To The Mature

6 Yet we are speaking wisdom among the mature, but a wisdom not of this age, nor of the rulers of this age— the ones being brought-to-nothing. 7 Rather we are speaking God’s wisdom in a mystery; the wisdom having been hidden which God predestined before the ages for our glory, 8 which none of the rulers of this age has understood. For if they had understood, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But it [f] is just as it has been written: “Things which an eye did not see and an ear did not hear, and which did not come-up[g] on the heart of a human— which God prepared for the ones loving Him”.

God Revealed This Wisdom To Us Through His Spirit

10 And God revealed it [h] to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11 For who among people knows the things of the person except the spirit of the person within him? In this manner also, no one has known the things of God except the Spirit of God. 12 And we did not receive the spirit of the world, but the Spirit from God, in order that we might know the things having been freely-given to us by God— 13 things which we also are speaking not in words taught by human wisdom, but in words taught by the Spirit, combining[i] spiritual things with spiritual words. 14 But a natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to him and he is not able to understand, because they are spiritually examined[j]. 15 But the spiritual person examines all things, yet he himself is examined by no one[k]. 16 For “who knew the mind of the Lord? Who will instruct Him?” [Isa 40:13], and we have the mind of Christ!

2 And so it was with me, brothers and sisters. When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom(A) as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God.[a] 2 For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.(B) 3 I came to you(C) in weakness(D) with great fear and trembling.(E) 4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words,(F) but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power,(G) 5 so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.(H)

God’s Wisdom Revealed by the Spirit

6 We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature,(I) but not the wisdom of this age(J) or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.(K) 7 No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery(L) that has been hidden(M) and that God destined for our glory before time began. 8 None of the rulers of this age(N) understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.(O) 9 However, as it is written:

“What no eye has seen,
    what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”[b]—
    the things God has prepared for those who love him—(P)

10 these are the things God has revealed(Q) to us by his Spirit.(R)

The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11 For who knows a person’s thoughts(S) except their own spirit(T) within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 What we have received is not the spirit(U) of the world,(V) but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom(W) but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.[c] 14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God(X) but considers them foolishness,(Y) and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. 15 The person with the Spirit(Z) makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, 16 for,

“Who has known the mind of the Lord
    so as to instruct him?”[d](AA)

But we have the mind of Christ.(AB)

2 Anch'io, o fratelli, quando sono venuto tra voi, non mi sono presentato ad annunziarvi la testimonianza di Dio con sublimità di parola o di sapienza. 2 Io ritenni infatti di non sapere altro in mezzo a voi se non Gesù Cristo, e questi crocifisso. 3 Io venni in mezzo a voi in debolezza e con molto timore e trepidazione; 4 e la mia parola e il mio messaggio non si basarono su discorsi persuasivi di sapienza, ma sulla manifestazione dello Spirito e della sua potenza, 5 perché la vostra fede non fosse fondata sulla sapienza umana, ma sulla potenza di Dio.

6 Tra i perfetti parliamo, sì, di sapienza, ma di una sapienza che non è di questo mondo, né dei dominatori di questo mondo che vengono ridotti al nulla; 7 parliamo di una sapienza divina, misteriosa, che è rimasta nascosta, e che Dio ha preordinato prima dei secoli per la nostra gloria. 8 Nessuno dei dominatori di questo mondo ha potuto conoscerla; se l'avessero conosciuta, non avrebbero crocifisso il Signore della gloria. 9 Sta scritto infatti:

Quelle cose che occhio non vide, né orecchio udì,
né mai entrarono in cuore di uomo,
queste ha preparato Dio per coloro che lo amano.

10 Ma a noi Dio le ha rivelate per mezzo dello Spirito; lo Spirito infatti scruta ogni cosa, anche le profondità di Dio. 11 Chi conosce i segreti dell'uomo se non lo spirito dell'uomo che è in lui? Così anche i segreti di Dio nessuno li ha mai potuti conoscere se non lo Spirito di Dio. 12 Ora, noi non abbiamo ricevuto lo spirito del mondo, ma lo Spirito di Dio per conoscere tutto ciò che Dio ci ha donato. 13 Di queste cose noi parliamo, non con un linguaggio suggerito dalla sapienza umana, ma insegnato dallo Spirito, esprimendo cose spirituali in termini spirituali. 14 L'uomo naturale però non comprende le cose dello Spirito di Dio; esse sono follia per lui, e non è capace di intenderle, perché se ne può giudicare solo per mezzo dello Spirito. 15 L'uomo spirituale invece giudica ogni cosa, senza poter essere giudicato da nessuno.

16 Chi infatti ha conosciuto il pensiero del Signore
in modo da poterlo dirigere?

Ora, noi abbiamo il pensiero di Cristo.
