12 弟兄们，论到属灵的恩赐，我不愿意你们不明白。 2 你们做外邦人的时候，随事被牵引、受迷惑，去服侍那哑巴偶像，这是你们知道的。 3 所以我告诉你们：被神的灵感动的，没有说“耶稣是可咒诅”的；若不是被圣灵感动的，也没有能说“耶稣是主”的。
恩赐原有分别圣灵却是一位
4 恩赐原有分别，圣灵却是一位； 5 职事也有分别，主却是一位； 6 功用也有分别，神却是一位，在众人里面运行一切的事。 7 圣灵显在各人身上，是叫人得益处。 8 这人蒙圣灵赐他智慧的言语，那人也蒙这位圣灵赐他知识的言语， 9 又有一人蒙这位圣灵赐他信心，还有一人蒙这位圣灵赐他医病的恩赐， 10 又叫一人能行异能，又叫一人能做先知，又叫一人能辨别诸灵，又叫一人能说方言，又叫一人能翻方言。 11 这一切都是这位圣灵所运行，随己意分给各人的。
门徒属基督譬如肢体属身子
12 就如身子是一个，却有许多肢体，而且肢体虽多，仍是一个身子；基督也是这样。 13 我们不拘是犹太人，是希腊人，是为奴的，是自主的，都从一位圣灵受洗，成了一个身体，饮于一位圣灵。 14 身子原不是一个肢体，乃是许多肢体。 15 设若脚说：“我不是手，所以不属乎身子”，它不能因此就不属乎身子。 16 设若耳说：“我不是眼，所以不属乎身子”，它也不能因此就不属乎身子。 17 若全身是眼，从哪里听声呢？若全身是耳，从哪里闻味呢？ 18 但如今，神随自己的意思把肢体俱各安排在身上了。 19 若都是一个肢体，身子在哪里呢？ 20 但如今肢体是多的，身子却是一个。 21 眼不能对手说：“我用不着你。”头也不能对脚说：“我用不着你。” 22 不但如此，身上肢体人以为软弱的，更是不可少的； 23 身上肢体我们看为不体面的，越发给它加上体面；不俊美的，越发得着俊美； 24 我们俊美的肢体，自然用不着装饰。但神配搭这身子，把加倍的体面给那有缺欠的肢体， 25 免得身上分门别类，总要肢体彼此相顾。 26 若一个肢体受苦，所有的肢体就一同受苦；若一个肢体得荣耀，所有的肢体就一同快乐。 27 你们就是基督的身子，并且各自做肢体。 28 神在教会所设立的：第一是使徒，第二是先知，第三是教师，其次是行异能的，再次是得恩赐医病的，帮助人的，治理事的，说方言的。 29 岂都是使徒吗？岂都是先知吗？岂都是教师吗？岂都是行异能的吗？ 30 岂都是得恩赐医病的吗？岂都是说方言的吗？岂都是翻方言的吗？ 31 你们要切切地求那更大的恩赐。我现今把最妙的道指示你们。

Spiritual Gifts
12 Brothers and sisters, I don’t want there to be any misunderstanding concerning spiritual gifts. 2 You know that when you were unbelievers, every time you were led to worship false gods you were worshiping gods who couldn’t even speak. 3 So I want you to know that no one speaking by God’s Spirit says, “Yeshua is cursed.” No one can say, “Yeshua is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.
4 There are different spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit gives them. 5 There are different ways of serving, and yet the same Lord is served. 6 There are different types of work to do, but the same God produces every gift in every person.
7 The evidence of the Spirit’s presence is given to each person for the common good of everyone. 8 The Spirit gives one person the ability to speak with wisdom. The same Spirit gives another person the ability to speak with knowledge. 9 To another person the same Spirit gives courageous faith. To another person the same Spirit gives the ability to heal. 10 Another can work miracles. Another can speak what God has revealed. Another can tell the difference between spirits. Another can speak in different kinds of languages. Another can interpret languages. 11 There is only one Spirit who does all these things by giving what God wants to give to each person.
12 For example, the body is one unit and yet has many parts. As all the parts form one body, so it is with Christ. 13 By one Spirit we were all baptized into one body. Whether we are Jewish or Greek, slave or free, God gave all of us one Spirit to drink.
14 As you know, the human body is not made up of only one part, but of many parts. 15 Suppose a foot says, “I’m not a hand, so I’m not part of the body!” Would that mean it’s no longer part of the body? 16 Or suppose an ear says, “I’m not an eye, so I’m not a part of the body!” Would that mean it’s no longer part of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, how could it hear? If the whole body were an ear, how could it smell? 18 So God put each and every part of the body together as he wanted it. 19 How could it be a body if it only had one part? 20 So there are many parts but one body.
21 An eye can’t say to a hand, “I don’t need you!” Or again, the head can’t say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” 22 The opposite is true. The parts of the body that we think are weaker are the ones we really need. 23 The parts of the body that we think are less honorable are the ones we give special honor. So our unpresentable parts are made more presentable. 24 However, our presentable parts don’t need this kind of treatment. God has put the body together and given special honor to the part that doesn’t have it. 25 God’s purpose was that the body should not be divided but rather that all of its parts should feel the same concern for each other. 26 If one part of the body suffers, all the other parts share its suffering. If one part is praised, all the others share in its happiness.
27 You are Christ’s body and each of you is an individual part of it. 28 In the church God has appointed first apostles, next prophets, third teachers, then those who perform miracles, then those who have the gift of healing, then those who help others, those who are managers, and those who can speak in a number of languages. 29 Not all believers are apostles, are they? Are all of them prophets? Do all of them teach? Do all of them perform miracles 30 or have gifts of healing? Can all of them speak in other languages or interpret languages?
31 You only want the better gifts, but I will show you the best thing to do.[a]

12 (A)Circa i doni spirituali, fratelli, non voglio che siate nell’ignoranza. 2 Voi sapete che quando eravate pagani eravate trascinati[a] dietro agli idoli muti, secondo come vi si conduceva. 3 Perciò vi faccio sapere che nessuno, parlando per lo Spirito di Dio, dice: «Gesù è anatema!» e nessuno può dire: «Gesù è il Signore!» se non per lo Spirito Santo.
4 Ora vi è diversità di doni, ma vi è un medesimo Spirito. 5 Vi è diversità di ministeri, ma non vi è che un medesimo Signore. 6 Vi è varietà di operazioni, ma non vi è che un medesimo Dio, il quale opera tutte le cose in tutti.
7 Ora a ciascuno è data la manifestazione dello Spirito per il bene comune. 8 Infatti a uno è data, mediante lo Spirito, parola di sapienza; a un altro, parola di conoscenza, secondo il medesimo Spirito; 9 a un altro, fede, mediante il medesimo Spirito; a un altro, doni di guarigione, per mezzo del medesimo Spirito[b]; 10 a un altro, potenza di operare miracoli; a un altro, profezia; a un altro, il discernimento degli spiriti; a un altro, diversità di lingue e a un altro, l’interpretazione delle lingue; 11 ma tutte queste cose le opera quell’unico e medesimo Spirito, distribuendo i doni a ciascuno in particolare come vuole.
La chiesa viene paragonata al corpo umano
12 (B)Poiché, come il corpo è uno e ha molte membra, e tutte le membra del corpo, benché siano molte, formano un solo corpo, così è anche di Cristo. 13 Infatti noi tutti siamo stati battezzati in un unico Spirito[c] per formare un unico corpo, Giudei e Greci, schiavi e liberi; e tutti siamo stati abbeverati di un solo Spirito[d].
14 Infatti il corpo non si compone di un membro solo, ma di molte membra. 15 Se il piede dicesse: «Siccome io non sono mano, non sono del corpo», non per questo non sarebbe del corpo. 16 Se l’orecchio dicesse: «Siccome io non sono occhio, non sono del corpo», non per questo non sarebbe del corpo. 17 Se tutto il corpo fosse occhio, dove sarebbe l’udito? Se tutto fosse udito, dove sarebbe l’odorato? 18 Ma ora Dio ha collocato ciascun membro nel corpo, come ha voluto. 19 Se tutte le membra fossero un unico membro, dove sarebbe il corpo? 20 Ci sono dunque molte membra, ma c’è un unico corpo; 21 l’occhio non può dire alla mano: «Non ho bisogno di te»; né il capo può dire ai piedi: «Non ho bisogno di voi». 22 Al contrario, le membra del corpo che sembrano essere più deboli sono invece necessarie; 23 e quelle parti del corpo che stimiamo essere le meno onorevoli, le circondiamo di maggior onore; le nostre parti indecorose sono trattate con maggior decoro, 24 mentre le parti nostre decorose non ne hanno bisogno; ma Dio ha formato il corpo in modo da dare maggior onore alla parte che ne mancava, 25 perché non ci fosse divisione nel corpo, ma le membra avessero la medesima cura le une per le altre. 26 Se un membro soffre, tutte le membra soffrono con lui; se un membro è onorato, tutte le membra ne gioiscono con lui.
27 Ora voi siete il corpo di Cristo e membra di esso, ciascuno per parte sua. 28 E Dio ha posto nella chiesa in primo luogo degli apostoli, in secondo luogo dei profeti, in terzo luogo dei dottori, poi miracoli, poi doni di guarigioni, assistenze, doni di governo, diversità di lingue. 29 Sono forse tutti apostoli? Sono forse tutti profeti? Sono forse tutti dottori? Fanno tutti dei miracoli? 30 Tutti hanno forse i doni di guarigioni? Parlano tutti in altre lingue? Interpretano tutti?
31 Voi, però, desiderate ardentemente i doni maggiori[e]!
