3 先知哈巴谷的祷告，调用流离歌。
2 耶和华啊，我听见你的名声[a]就惧怕。耶和华啊，求你在这些年间复兴你的作为，在这些年间显明出来，在发怒的时候以怜悯为念。 3 神从提幔而来，圣者从巴兰山临到。（细拉）他的荣光遮蔽诸天，颂赞充满大地。 4 他的辉煌如同日光，从他手里射出光线，在其中藏着他的能力。 5 在他前面有瘟疫流行，在他脚下有热症发出。 6 他站立，量了大地[b]；观看，赶散万民。永久的山崩裂，长存的岭塌陷，他的作为与古时一样。 7 我见古珊的帐篷遭难，米甸的幔子战兢。 8 耶和华啊，你乘在马上，坐在得胜的车上，岂是不喜悦江河，向江河发怒气，向洋海发愤恨吗？ 9 你的弓全然显露，向众支派所起的誓都是可信的。（细拉）你以江河分开大地。 10 山岭见你，无不战惧；大水泛滥过去，深渊发声，汹涌翻腾[c]。 11 因你的箭射出发光，你的枪闪出光耀，日月都在本宫停住。 12 你发愤恨通行大地，发怒气责打列国如同打粮。 13 你出来要拯救你的百姓，拯救你的受膏者，打破恶人家长的头，露出他的脚[d]，直到颈项。（细拉） 14 你用敌人的戈矛刺透他战士的头，他们来如旋风，要将我们分散，他们所喜爱的是暗中吞吃贫民。 15 你乘马践踏红海，就是践踏汹涌的大水。

16 我听见耶和华的声音，身体战兢，嘴唇发颤，骨中朽烂，我在所立之处战兢。我只可安静等候灾难之日临到，犯境之民上来。 17 虽然无花果树不发旺，葡萄树不结果，橄榄树也不效力，田地不出粮食，圈中绝了羊，棚内也没有牛， 18 然而我要因耶和华欢欣，因救我的神喜乐。 19 主耶和华是我的力量，他使我的脚快如母鹿的蹄，又使我稳行在高处。
这歌交于伶长，用丝弦的乐器。

3 A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet upon Shigionoth.
2 O Lord, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O Lord, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.
3 God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.
4 And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power.
5 Before him went the pestilence, and burning coals went forth at his feet.
6 He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting.
7 I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction: and the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.
8 Was the Lord displeased against the rivers? was thine anger against the rivers? was thy wrath against the sea, that thou didst ride upon thine horses and thy chariots of salvation?
9 Thy bow was made quite naked, according to the oaths of the tribes, even thy word. Selah. Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.
10 The mountains saw thee, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high.
11 The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear.
12 Thou didst march through the land in indignation, thou didst thresh the heathen in anger.
13 Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thine anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.
14 Thou didst strike through with his staves the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly.
15 Thou didst walk through the sea with thine horses, through the heap of great waters.
16 When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops.
17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
19 The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

3 Oración del profeta Habacuc, en tonos diversos.
2 Oh Jehová, he oído lo que se dice de ti, y temí.
Oh Jehová, aviva tu obra en medio de los tiempos,
En medio de los tiempos hazla conocer;
En la ira acuérdate de la compasión.
3 Dios viene de Temán,
Y el Santo desde el monte de Parán.
Selah
Su gloria cubre los cielos.
Y la tierra está llena de su alabanza.
4 Y el resplandor es como la luz del sol;
Rayos brillantes salen de su mano.
Y allí está escondido su poder.
5 Delante de su rostro va la pestilencia,
Y adondequiera que va, salen carbones encendidos.
6 Se levantó, y sacudió la tierra;
Miró, e hizo temblar las gentes;
Los montes antiguos fueron desmenuzados,
Los collados antiguos se humillaron.
Son sus caminos de siempre.
7 He visto las tiendas de Cusán en aflicción;
Las tiendas de la tierra de Madián temblaron.
8 ¿Te airaste, oh Jehová, contra los ríos?
¿Contra los ríos se encendió tu furia?
¿Fue tu ira contra el mar
Cuando montaste en tus caballos,
Y en tus carros de victoria?
9 Se descubrió enteramente tu arco;
Los juramentos a las tribus fueron palabra segura.

Hendiste la tierra con ríos.
10 Te vieron y tuvieron temor los montes;
Se desbordó la inundación de las aguas;
El abismo dio su voz,
A lo alto alzó sus manos.
11 El sol y la luna se pararon en su lugar,
A la luz de tus saetas que volaban,
Y al resplandor de tu fulgente lanza.
12 Con ira hollaste la tierra,
Con furor trillaste las naciones.
13 Saliste para socorrer a tu pueblo,
Para socorrer a tu ungido.
Heriste la cabeza de la casa del impío,
Descubriendo los fundamentos hasta el cuello.

14 Traspasaste con sus propios dardos las cabezas de sus guerreros,
Que como tempestad acometieron para dispersarme,
Cuyo regocijo era como para devorar al pobre encubiertamente.
15 Caminaste en el mar con tus caballos,
Sobre la mole de las grandes aguas.
16 Cuando lo oí se conmovieron mis entrañas;
A la voz, temblaron mis labios;
La caries penetra en mis huesos, y me estremecí sobre mis pies;
Si bien espero tranquilo el día de la angustia,
Cuando suba él contra el pueblo al que invade.
17 Pues aunque la higuera no florezca,
Ni en las vides haya frutos,
Aunque falte el producto del olivo,
Y los labrados no den mantenimiento,
Y las ovejas falten en el aprisco,
Y no haya vacas en los establos;
18 Con todo, yo me alegraré en Jehová,
Y me regocijaré en el Dios de mi salvación.
19 Jehová el Señor es mi fortaleza,
El cual hace mis pies como los de las ciervas,
Y en mis alturas me hace andar.
