6 我听到仿佛是从四个生物中发出的一个声音说∶“一天的工钱能买一升小麦，一天的工钱能买三升大麦。不要糟蹋橄榄油和酒！”
7 当羔羊打开第四个封印时，我听见第四个生物说道∶“过来！” 8 我看见面前有一匹灰白色的马，骑手名叫“死亡”（希腊文“死亡”意思也为“瘟疫”，在这一节的后部分也是如此。）地狱紧跟其后，它们被赋予权力，统治地球的四分之一，并用战争、饥荒、瘟疫和地上的野兽去杀人。

6 Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures,(A) saying, “Two pounds[a] of wheat for a day’s wages,[b] and six pounds[c] of barley for a day’s wages,[d](B) and do not damage(C) the oil and the wine!”
7 When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature(D) say, “Come!” 8 I looked, and there before me was a pale horse!(E) Its rider was named Death, and Hades(F) was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.(G)
