羔羊与书卷
5 接着，我看见坐在宝座上的那一位右手中拿着一个书卷，内外都写着字，用七个封印封住。 2 我又看见一位强有力的天使，大声地宣告：“谁配打开这书卷，解开它的封印呢？” 3 可是在天上、在地上、在地底下，都没有一个能打开或阅读那书卷的。 4 于是我就大哭，因为找不到配打开[a]或阅读那书卷的。
5 可是长老中有一位对我说：“不要哭了！看哪，那出于犹大支派的狮子、大卫的根已经得胜，可以打开那书卷和[b]它的七个封印。” 6 随后，我看见[c]在宝座和四个活物当中，在长老们当中，站着一只羔羊，好像是被杀过的。羔羊有七只角和七只眼，那七只眼就是神的七个灵，是奉差派往全地去的。 7 羔羊上前去，从坐在宝座上那一位的右手中拿了书卷[d]。
羔羊配得颂赞
8 他一接到书卷，四个活物和二十四位长老就俯伏在羔羊面前，他们各拿着一把竖琴和盛满香的金碗；这些香就是圣徒们的祷告。 9 他们唱着一首新歌，说：
“你配接受那书卷，
配打开它的封印，
因为你曾被杀，
用自己的血，
从各支派、各语言群体、
各民族、各国家，
为神赎回了人[e]，
10 使他们[f]成为我们神的国度[g]和祭司；
他们[h]将要在地上做王[i]。”
11 我又观看，就听见在宝座、活物和长老们的周围，有许多天使的声音；他们的数目有千千万万。 12 他们大声说：
“那被杀的羔羊配接受
权能、财富、智慧、力量、
尊贵、荣耀和颂赞！”
13 我又听见天上、地上、地底下和海中的一切被造之物，以及天地间[j]的万有，都在说：
“愿颂赞、尊贵、荣耀和权能，
都归于坐在宝座上的那一位，
都归于羔羊，直到永永远远！”

唯有羔羊配开
6 我又看见宝座与四活物并长老之中有羔羊站立，像是被杀过的，有七角七眼，就是神的七灵，奉差遣往普天下去的。 7 这羔羊前来，从坐宝座的右手里拿了书卷。 8 他既拿了书卷，四活物和二十四位长老就俯伏在羔羊面前，各拿着琴和盛满了香的金炉。这香就是众圣徒的祈祷。 9 他们唱新歌，说：“你配拿书卷，配揭开七印，因为你曾被杀，用自己的血从各族、各方、各民、各国中买了人来，叫他们归于神， 10 又叫他们成为国民做祭司，归于神，在地上执掌王权。”
称赞神和羔羊
11 我又看见且听见宝座与活物并长老的周围有许多天使的声音，他们的数目有千千万万， 12 大声说：“曾被杀的羔羊是配得权柄、丰富、智慧、能力、尊贵、荣耀、颂赞的！” 13 我又听见在天上、地上、地底下、沧海里和天地间一切所有被造之物都说：“但愿颂赞、尊贵、荣耀、权势都归给坐宝座的和羔羊，直到永永远远！” 14 四活物就说：“阿门！”众长老也俯伏敬拜。

5 接著，我看見坐在寶座上的那位右手拿著一卷內外寫著字、用七個印封住的書。 2 有一位大力天使高聲問道：「誰有資格揭開那七個封印，打開那卷書？」 3 可是，天上、地上、甚至地底下都沒有人有資格揭開並閱讀那卷書。 4 我見無人有資格揭開並閱讀那卷書，便放聲大哭。 5 有一位長老對我說：「不要哭。你看，猶大支派的獅子、大衛的根已經得勝了！祂能揭開那七個封印，打開那卷書。」
6 我又看到寶座、四個活物和眾長老之間站著一隻好像是被宰殺過的羔羊。祂身上的七隻角和七隻眼睛代表奉差遣到普天下去的上帝的七靈。 7 那羔羊走上前去，從坐在寶座上的那位右手中接過書卷。 8 祂拿過書卷後，四個活物和二十四位長老就俯伏在羔羊面前，各拿著豎琴和盛滿了香的金香爐。那些香就是眾聖徒的祈禱。 9 他們唱著一首新歌：

5 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.
