4 此后，我再观看，见天上有一扇门开了，又听见刚才那个像号角般响亮的声音对我说：“你上这里来，我要把以后必发生的事指示给你看。” 2 我便立刻被圣灵感动，看见天上安设着一个宝座，有一位坐在宝座上， 3 闪耀着碧玉和红宝石般的光彩。有一道翡翠般的彩虹围绕着宝座。 4 宝座的周围设有二十四个座位，有二十四位长老坐在上面，他们身穿白袍，头戴金冠。 5 从宝座中有闪电、响声、雷鸣发出，宝座前面燃烧着七把火炬，代表[a]上帝的七灵。 6 宝座前还有一个水晶般的玻璃海，宝座的四周有四个活物，他们前后都长满了眼睛。 7 第一个活物像狮子，第二个像牛犊，第三个有人的面孔，第四个像飞鹰。 8 这四个活物各有三对翅膀，翅膀内外都长满眼睛。他们昼夜不停地说：

“圣哉！圣哉！圣哉！
主上帝是昔在、今在、
以后永在的全能者。”

9 每逢这些活物将荣耀、尊贵、感谢献给坐在宝座上、活到永永远远的那位时， 10 二十四位长老就俯伏在坐宝座的那位面前，敬拜那位永活者，又摘下他们头上的冠冕，放在宝座前，说：

11 “我们的主，我们的上帝，
你配得荣耀、尊贵和权能，
因你创造了万物，
万物都因你的旨意被创造而存在。”

4 此后，在我面前，我看见天堂有一扇敞开的门。我以前听到过的那个号角般的声音对我说∶“你上到这里来，我要把今后必将发生的事情展示给你。” 2 我立刻就受到灵的支配。在我面前是天堂里的一个宝座。宝座上端坐着一位， 3 他的面容像碧玉和红宝石一样闪耀，宝座四周被一条绿宝石似的彩虹围绕着。 4 宝座周围还有二十四个宝座，二十四位长老坐在上面。他们身穿白衣，头戴金冠。 5 宝座闪闪发光，隆隆作响，电闪雷鸣。宝座前有七支熊熊燃烧的火把，它们是上帝的七个灵。 6 宝座前如同一片晶莹透亮的玻璃海。

宝座正前方和其它三侧，有四个生物。它们胸前背后长满了眼睛。 7 第一个生物像狮子。第二个像公牛，第三个有一副人脸，第四个像飞鹰。 8 四个生物都有六个翅膀，浑身上下长满了眼睛。它们日夜不停地说着：

“主，全能的上帝，
神圣，神圣，神圣，
昔日、现在、未来，他永在。”

9 每当这些生物把荣耀、尊崇和感谢献给坐在宝座上永生不朽的那位时， 10 二十四名长老 [a]就匍伏在宝座上永生的那位面前，敬拜那位万寿无疆的他。他们把自己的王冠放到宝座前，说：

11 “主，我们的上帝，
荣耀、尊崇和权力，
你受之无愧，
因为您创造了万物，
万物因为您的旨意，
才得以存在和受造。”

Der Thron der göttlichen Majestät und die Anbetung Gottes im Himmel

4 Nach diesem schaute ich, und siehe, eine Tür war geöffnet im Himmel; und die erste Stimme, die ich gleich einer Posaune mit mir reden gehört hatte, sprach: Komm hier herauf, und ich will dir zeigen, was nach diesem geschehen muss!

2 Und sogleich war ich im Geist; und siehe, ein Thron stand im Himmel, und auf dem Thron saß einer.

3 Und der darauf saß, war in seinem Aussehen einem Jaspis- und einem Sardisstein gleich; und ein Regenbogen war rings um den Thron, der glich in seinem Aussehen einem Smaragd.

4 Und rings um den Thron waren 24 Throne, und auf den Thronen sah ich 24 Älteste sitzen, die mit weißen Kleidern bekleidet waren und auf ihren Häuptern goldene Kronen hatten.

5 Und von dem Thron gingen Blitze und Donner und Stimmen aus, und sieben Feuerfackeln brennen vor dem Thron, welche die sieben Geister Gottes sind[a].

6 Und vor dem Thron war ein gläsernes Meer, gleich Kristall; und in der Mitte des Thrones und rings um den Thron waren vier lebendige Wesen, voller Augen vorn und hinten.

7 Und das erste lebendige Wesen glich einem Löwen, das zweite lebendige Wesen glich einem jungen Stier, das dritte lebendige Wesen hatte ein Angesicht wie ein Mensch, und das vierte lebendige Wesen glich einem fliegenden Adler.

8 Und jedes einzelne von den vier lebendigen Wesen hatte sechs Flügel; ringsherum und inwendig waren sie voller Augen, und unaufhörlich rufen sie bei Tag und bei Nacht: Heilig, heilig, heilig ist der Herr, Gott der Allmächtige, der war und der ist und der kommt!

9 Und jedes Mal, wenn die lebendigen Wesen Herrlichkeit und Ehre und Dank darbringen dem, der auf dem Thron sitzt, der lebt von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit,

10 so fallen die 24 Ältesten nieder vor dem, der auf dem Thron sitzt, und beten den an, der lebt von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit; und sie werfen ihre Kronen vor dem Thron nieder und sprechen:

11 Würdig bist du, o Herr, zu empfangen den Ruhm[b] und die Ehre und die Macht; denn du hast alle Dinge geschaffen, und durch deinen Willen sind sie und wurden sie geschaffen!

The Throne in Heaven

4 After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open(A) in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet(B) said, “Come up here,(C) and I will show you what must take place after this.”(D) 2 At once I was in the Spirit,(E) and there before me was a throne in heaven(F) with someone sitting on it. 3 And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper(G) and ruby.(H) A rainbow(I) that shone like an emerald(J) encircled the throne. 4 Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders.(K) They were dressed in white(L) and had crowns of gold on their heads. 5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder.(M) In front of the throne, seven lamps(N) were blazing. These are the seven spirits[a](O) of God. 6 Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass,(P) clear as crystal.

In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures,(Q) and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back.(R) 7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle.(S) 8 Each of the four living creatures(T) had six wings(U) and was covered with eyes all around,(V) even under its wings. Day and night(W) they never stop saying:

“‘Holy, holy, holy

is the Lord God Almighty,’[b](X)

who was, and is, and is to come.”(Y)

9 Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne(Z) and who lives for ever and ever,(AA) 10 the twenty-four elders(AB) fall down before him(AC) who sits on the throne(AD) and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:

11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God,
    to receive glory and honor and power,(AE)
for you created all things,
    and by your will they were created
    and have their being.”(AF)

4 After these things I saw, and behold, a door opened in heaven, and the first voice that I heard, a voice as of a trumpet speaking with me, one saying, Come up hither, and I will show thee the things which must [a]come to pass hereafter. 2 Straightway I was in the Spirit: and behold, there was a throne set in heaven, and one sitting upon the throne; 3 and he that sat was to look upon like a jasper stone and a sardius: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, like an emerald to look upon. 4 And round about the throne were four and twenty thrones: and upon the thrones I saw four and twenty elders sitting, arrayed in white garments; and on their heads crowns of gold. 5 And out of the throne proceed lightnings and voices and thunders. And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God; 6 and before the throne, as it were a [b]sea of glass like unto crystal; and in the midst [c]of the throne, and round about the throne, four living creatures full of eyes before and behind. 7 And the first creature was like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature had a face as of a man, and the fourth creature was like a flying eagle. 8 And the four living creatures, having each one of them six wings, are full of eyes round about and within: and they have no rest day and night, saying,

Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and [d]who is to come.

9 And when the living creatures shall give glory and honor and thanks to him that sitteth on the throne, to him that liveth [e]for ever and ever, 10 the four and twenty elders shall fall down before him that sitteth on the throne, and shall worship him that liveth [f]for ever and ever, and shall cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

11 Worthy art thou, our Lord and our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power: for thou didst create all things, and because of thy will they were, and were created.
