天上的敬拜
4 这些事以后，我观看，见天上有一道门开着；并且有我第一次听见的那个好象号筒的声音，对我说：“你上这里来！我要把以后必定发生的事指示你。” 2 立刻，我在灵里，就看见有一个宝座，设立在天上，有一位坐在宝座上。 3 那位坐着的，看来好象碧玉和红宝石，又有彩虹围绕着宝座，看来好象绿宝石。 4 宝座的周围有二十四个座位，上面坐着二十四位长老，身穿白衣，头戴金冠。 5 有闪电、响声、雷轰从宝座中发出；又有七枝火炬在宝座前点着，这就是 神的七灵。 6 宝座前有一个看来好象水晶的玻璃海。
在宝座中间和宝座周围有四个活物，前后布满了眼睛。 7 第一个活物像狮子，第二个活物像牛犊，第三个活物的脸面像人，第四个活物像飞鹰。 8 四个活物各有六个翅膀，里外布满了眼睛。他们昼夜不停地说：
“圣哉！圣哉！圣哉！
主、全能的 神，
昔在、今在、以后要来的那一位。”
9 每逢四个活物把荣耀、尊贵、感谢献给那坐在宝座上，活到永永远远的那一位的时候， 10 二十四位长老就俯伏在坐在宝座上那一位的面前，敬拜那活到永永远远的，又把他们的冠冕放在宝座前，说：
11 “主、我们的 神，
你是配得荣耀、尊贵、权能的，
因为你创造了万有，
万有都是因着你的旨意而存在，而被造的。”

The Throne in Heaven
4 After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open(A) in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet(B) said, “Come up here,(C) and I will show you what must take place after this.”(D) 2 At once I was in the Spirit,(E) and there before me was a throne in heaven(F) with someone sitting on it. 3 And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper(G) and ruby.(H) A rainbow(I) that shone like an emerald(J) encircled the throne. 4 Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders.(K) They were dressed in white(L) and had crowns of gold on their heads. 5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder.(M) In front of the throne, seven lamps(N) were blazing. These are the seven spirits[a](O) of God. 6 Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass,(P) clear as crystal.
In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures,(Q) and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back.(R) 7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle.(S) 8 Each of the four living creatures(T) had six wings(U) and was covered with eyes all around,(V) even under its wings. Day and night(W) they never stop saying:
9 Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne(Z) and who lives for ever and ever,(AA) 10 the twenty-four elders(AB) fall down before him(AC) who sits on the throne(AD) and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:

2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
9 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

4 När jag sedan tittade upp, såg jag en dörr som var öppen i himlen. Och samma röst som jag hade hört förut, som lät som en kraftig trumpetstöt, talade till mig och sa: Kom hit upp, så ska jag visa dig vad som ska hända i framtiden!
2 Guds Ande grep mig och i samma ögonblick befann jag mig i himlen och såg en tron och någon som satt på den.
3 Väldiga ljusknippen sköt ut från honom, som från en blixtrande diamant eller en gnistrande rubin. Och omkring tronen glimmade en regnbåge, som var som smaragd.
4 Runt tronen stod tjugofyra mindre troner, och på dem satt tjugofyra äldste. Alla var klädda i vita kläder, och hade segerkransar på sina huvuden.
5 Från tronen kom blixtar och dunder, och inne i åskmullret hördes röster. Alldeles framför tronen brann sju facklor, som representerade Guds sju andar.
6 Framför tronen låg ett glittrande kristallhav. Fyra levande väsen, översållade av ögon både framtill och baktill, stod runt tronens fyra sidor.
7 Den första av dessa varelser såg ut som ett lejon, den andra liknade en tjur, den tredje hade en människas ansikte, och den fjärde var som en örn, med vingarna utsträckta som i flykt.
8 Varje varelse hade sex vingar, och mittpartierna av deras vingar var övertäckta av ögon. Dag och natt sa de utan uppehåll: Helig, helig, helig är Herren Gud allsmäktig - han som var och som är och som ska komma.
9 Och när varelserna ger ära och pris och tack till honom som sitter på tronen, han som lever i evighet,
10 faller de tjugofyra äldste ner framför honom och tillber honom, och kastar sina segerkransar framför honom och sjunger:
11 Herre, du är värdig att ta emot äran och lovet och makten, för du har skapat allting. Eftersom du ville det, blev det skapat och kom till.
