11 Мне была дана трость, наподобие посоха, и сказано:
– Встань и измерь ею храм Божий, жертвенник и посчитай тех, кто пришел туда на поклонение. 2 Но внешний двор храма не включай и не измеряй, потому что он отдан язычникам, они будут топтать святой город сорок два месяца[a]. 3 Я дам Моим двум свидетелям силу, и они будут пророчествовать тысячу двести шестьдесят дней, одетые в рубище[b].
4 Это две оливы и два светильника, стоящие перед Господом земли[c]. 5 Если кто-то пытается причинить им вред, то изо рта этих свидетелей выходит огонь и поглощает их врагов. Так погибает каждый, кто хочет причинить им вред. 6 Им дана власть затворить небеса, чтобы в дни, когда они пророчествуют, на землю не шел дождь, а также власть превращать воду в кровь и поражать землю всевозможными бедствиями столько раз, сколько они захотят.
7 Когда они полностью окончат свое свидетельство, тогда зверь, выходящий из бездны, нападет на них, победит их и умертвит. 8 Их трупы будут лежать на улице великого города, где и их Господь был распят, города, который символически назван Содомом и Египтом. 9 Три с половиной дня на их трупы смотрит множество людей из всех народов, языков, родов и племен, и трупы их не разрешают похоронить. 10 Жители земли радуются их гибели, устраивают праздники и посылают друг другу подарки, потому что присутствие этих пророков было мучительно для жителей земли. 11 Но через три с половиной дня в них вошел дух жизни от Бога, и они встали на ноги. Все, кто это видел, пришли в ужас. 12 Два свидетеля услышали с небес громкий голос:
– Поднимитесь сюда.
Они поднялись в облаке на небеса, и их враги это видели. 13 В тот же час произошло сильное землетрясение, и десятая часть города разрушилась. Во время землетрясения погибло семь тысяч человек, остальных же охватил ужас, и они прославили Бога небесного.
14 Второе горе окончилось, но приближалось еще третье.

15 Затрубил седьмой ангел, и в небесах громко прозвучали слова:
– Царство мира стало
Царством нашего Господа и Его Христа!
Он будет царствовать вечно!

18 Народы разъярились[d],
но сейчас настал черед Твоего гнева.
Настал час суда над мертвыми,
час раздачи наград Твоим слугам пророкам
и святым, благоговеющим перед Твоим именем,
как малым, так и великим,
и час истребления тех, кто растлевает землю[e].
19 Тогда на небесах открылся храм Божий, а в храме был явлен ковчег завета Его. Засверкали молнии, раздались голоса, загремел гром, произошло землетрясение и пошел сильный град.

The Two Witnesses
11 I was given a reed like a measuring rod(A) and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshipers. 2 But exclude the outer court;(B) do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles.(C) They will trample on the holy city(D) for 42 months.(E) 3 And I will appoint my two witnesses,(F) and they will prophesy for 1,260 days,(G) clothed in sackcloth.”(H) 4 They are “the two olive trees”(I) and the two lampstands, and “they stand before the Lord of the earth.”[a](J) 5 If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies.(K) This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die.(L) 6 They have power to shut up the heavens(M) so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying;(N) and they have power to turn the waters into blood(O) and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.
7 Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast(P) that comes up from the Abyss(Q) will attack them,(R) and overpower and kill them. 8 Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city(S)—which is figuratively called Sodom(T) and Egypt—where also their Lord was crucified.(U) 9 For three and a half days some from every people, tribe, language and nation(V) will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial.(W) 10 The inhabitants of the earth(X) will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts,(Y) because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth.
11 But after the three and a half days(Z) the breath[b] of life from God entered them,(AA) and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. 12 Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.”(AB) And they went up to heaven in a cloud,(AC) while their enemies looked on.
13 At that very hour there was a severe earthquake(AD) and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory(AE) to the God of heaven.(AF)
14 The second woe has passed; the third woe is coming soon.(AG)
The Seventh Trumpet
15 The seventh angel sounded his trumpet,(AH) and there were loud voices(AI) in heaven, which said:
“The kingdom of the world has become
the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah,(AJ)
and he will reign for ever and ever.”(AK)
16 And the twenty-four elders,(AL) who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces(AM) and worshiped God, 17 saying:
“We give thanks(AN) to you, Lord God Almighty,(AO)
the One who is and who was,(AP)
because you have taken your great power
and have begun to reign.(AQ)
18 The nations were angry,(AR)
and your wrath has come.
The time has come for judging the dead,(AS)
and for rewarding your servants the prophets(AT)
and your people who revere your name,
both great and small(AU)—
and for destroying those who destroy the earth.”
19 Then God’s temple(AV) in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant.(AW) And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder,(AX) an earthquake and a severe hailstorm.(AY)

2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11 And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
