8 所罗门建造耶和华的殿和自己的王宫，用了二十年才完成。 2 所罗门又修筑希兰送给他的那些城市，使以色列人住在那里。 3 所罗门到哈玛琐巴去，占领了那地方。 4 所罗门又修筑了在旷野的达莫，和他在哈玛建造的一切贮藏货物的城市。 5 他又建造上伯．和仑和下伯．和仑，成了有墙、有门和有闩的设防城； 6 又建造巴拉和所罗门拥有的一切贮藏货物的城市，以及一切囤放战车的城市，马兵驻扎的城市，和所罗门在耶路撒冷、黎巴嫩，以及他统治的全境内喜爱建造的一切。
7 至于以色列人以外的赫人、亚摩利人、比利洗人、希未人和耶布斯人剩下来的人民， 8 他们的子孙仍然留在那地，以色列人没有消灭他们。于是，所罗门征召他们作苦工，直到今日。 9 唯独以色列人，所罗门没有驱使他们为他的工程作奴仆；他们作了他的战士、军长、车兵长和马兵长。 10 所罗门王有二百五十名监工，监督工人。

12 那时，所罗门在耶和华的坛上，就是在走廊前面他建筑的坛上，向耶和华献上燔祭， 13 又照着摩西的吩咐，在安息日、初一和一年三次特定的节期，就是除酵节、七七节、住棚节，献上每日当献的。
14 所罗门又照着他父亲大卫所定的，设立了祭司的班次，执行他们的事奉，又派遣利未人，各守本职，赞美耶和华，在祭司面前照着每日的本分事奉。又派守门的按着班次看守各门。因为这是神人大卫的吩咐。 15 王对祭司和利未人所吩咐的，无论是甚么事务，或是有关库房的事，他们都没有违抗。
16 从耶和华的殿奠基的日子起，直到建成，所罗门的一切工程都进行顺利。这样，耶和华的殿就完成了。
17 那时，所罗门往以东地，到靠近海边的以旬．迦别和以禄去了。 18 希兰派他的臣仆，把船只和熟悉航海的仆人，送到所罗门那里。他们和所罗门的仆人一同去到俄斐，从那里得了一万五千公斤金子，运到所罗门王那里。

Ciudades que construyó Salomón
(1 R 9:10-28)
8 Le llevó 20 años a Salomón construir el templo del SEÑOR y su propio palacio. 2 Luego reconstruyó las ciudades que Hiram le dio y las pobló con israelitas. 3 Después Salomón fue contra la ciudad de Jamat de Sobá y la conquistó. 4 Reconstruyó entonces la ciudad de Tadmor en el desierto y todas las ciudades de almacenaje que construyó en Jamat. 5 Reconstruyó también Bet Jorón la de arriba y Bet Jorón la de abajo, ciudades fortificadas con murallas, puertas y barras. 6 Construyó Balat, las ciudades de almacenaje, cuarteles para sus carros, cuarteles para alojar la caballería y todo lo que Salomón quiso construir tanto en Jerusalén como en el Líbano y en todo el territorio que gobernaba.
7 A la gente que quedaba de los amorreos, hititas, ferezeos, heveos y jebuseos, los cuales no eran israelitas, 8 o sea a los descendientes de ellos que aun quedaban en el país y que los israelitas no habían destruido, Salomón los obligó a trabajos forzados como esclavos y así siguen hasta el día de hoy. 9 Pero Salomón no obligó a ningún israelita a ser su esclavo, sino que los empleaba como soldados, comandantes y oficiales de los carros de combate y de la caballería. 10 Había 250 de ellos que le servían como supervisores de los capataces que dirigían al personal.
11 Salomón trasladó a su esposa, la hija del faraón, de la Ciudad de David al palacio que le construyó, pues dijo: «Ninguna esposa mía vivirá en la casa de David, rey de Israel, porque los lugares donde ha estado el cofre del SEÑOR son sagrados».
12 En aquel tiempo, Salomón ofrecía los sacrificios que deben quemarse completamente al SEÑOR en el altar del SEÑOR que había construido delante del vestíbulo. 13 Los ofrecía conforme a lo ordenado para cada día, según lo mandado por Moisés, semanalmente los días de descanso, mensualmente en las lunas nuevas y durante las fiestas que se realizaban tres veces al año: la fiesta de los Panes sin Levadura, la fiesta de las Semanas[a] y la fiesta de las Enramadas. 14 De acuerdo a lo ordenado por su papá David, asignó turnos para que los sacerdotes realizaran su servicio y para que los levitas llevaran a cabo sus deberes de alabar y servir ante los sacerdotes de acuerdo a lo ordenado para cada día. También asignó turnos a los porteros en cada puerta. 15 Así que cumplieron fielmente el mandato del rey en cuanto a los sacerdotes, los levitas y también en cuanto a la tesorería.
16 Todo el trabajo de Salomón se llevó a cabo desde el día en que echaron los cimientos del templo del SEÑOR hasta el día en que se terminó. Así pues, el templo del SEÑOR quedó perfectamente terminado.
17 Entonces Salomón fue a Ezión Guéber y a Elat en la costa de Edom. 18 Hiram, por medio de sus oficiales, le mandó una flotilla de barcos con navegantes expertos. Ellos y los funcionarios de Salomón fueron a Ofir y de ahí volvieron con casi 15 000 kilos[b] de oro que le entregaron al rey Salomón.

8 And it came to pass at the end of twenty years, wherein Solomon had built the house of the Lord, and his own house,
2 That the cities which Huram had restored to Solomon, Solomon built them, and caused the children of Israel to dwell there.
3 And Solomon went to Hamathzobah, and prevailed against it.
4 And he built Tadmor in the wilderness, and all the store cities, which he built in Hamath.
5 Also he built Bethhoron the upper, and Bethhoron the nether, fenced cities, with walls, gates, and bars;
6 And Baalath, and all the store cities that Solomon had, and all the chariot cities, and the cities of the horsemen, and all that Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and throughout all the land of his dominion.
7 As for all the people that were left of the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which were not of Israel,
8 But of their children, who were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel consumed not, them did Solomon make to pay tribute until this day.
9 But of the children of Israel did Solomon make no servants for his work; but they were men of war, and chief of his captains, and captains of his chariots and horsemen.
10 And these were the chief of king Solomon's officers, even two hundred and fifty, that bare rule over the people.
11 And Solomon brought up the daughter of Pharaoh out of the city of David unto the house that he had built for her: for he said, My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because the places are holy, whereunto the ark of the Lord hath come.
12 Then Solomon offered burnt offerings unto the Lord on the altar of the Lord, which he had built before the porch,
13 Even after a certain rate every day, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles.
14 And he appointed, according to the order of David his father, the courses of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their charges, to praise and minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required: the porters also by their courses at every gate: for so had David the man of God commanded.
15 And they departed not from the commandment of the king unto the priests and Levites concerning any matter, or concerning the treasures.
16 Now all the work of Solomon was prepared unto the day of the foundation of the house of the Lord, and until it was finished. So the house of the Lord was perfected.
17 Then went Solomon to Eziongeber, and to Eloth, at the sea side in the land of Edom.
18 And Huram sent him by the hands of his servants ships, and servants that had knowledge of the sea; and they went with the servants of Solomon to Ophir, and took thence four hundred and fifty talents of gold, and brought them to king Solomon.
