建造殿中各器皿(A)
4 他又做了一座铜坛，长九公尺，宽九公尺，高四公尺半。 2 又铸造了一个铜海，直径有四公尺半，是圆形的，高两公尺两公寸，圆周有十三公尺两公寸。 3 铜海底下四周有形状像牛的装饰物；每四十五公分十个，共分二行，是和铜海一体铸成的。 4 有十二头铜牛驮着铜海：三头向北，三头向西，三头向南，三头向东。铜海在牛背上面，牛尾部向内。 5 铜海厚七公分半，边缘像杯边的做法，形状似百合花，容量有六万公升。 6 他又做了十个洗濯盆：五个放在铜海的右边，五个放在左边，用来清洗东西；献燔祭所用的东西要在盆内清洗，但铜海是给祭司洗濯的。
7 又照着规定的样式做了十个金灯台，放在殿内；五个在右边，五个在左边。 8 又做了十张桌子，安放在殿内；五张在右边，五张在左边。又做了一百个金碗。 9 又建造祭司院、大院和大院的门；门都包上铜。 10 又把铜海放在殿的右边，就是东南方。
11 户兰又做了锅、铲和碗。这样，户兰为所罗门王完成了神殿的工程， 12 就是两根柱子和在柱子上面两个碗形柱顶，以及两个网子，遮盖柱子上面两个碗形的柱顶， 13 又有四百个石榴，安放在两个网子上，每个网子有两行石榴，遮盖柱子上头两个碗形的柱顶。 14 又做了十个盆座和盆座上的十个洗濯盆， 15 还有一个铜海和铜海底下的十二头铜牛。 16 锅、铲、肉叉和一切相关的器皿，都是户兰用磨光的铜给所罗门王，为耶和华的殿所做的。 17 是王在约旦平原，在疏割和撒利但之间，用胶泥模铸成的。 18 所罗门所做的这一切器皿，数量很多；铜的重量无法估计。

The Message
Temple Furnishings
4 He made the Bronze Altar thirty feet long, thirty feet wide, and ten feet high.
2-5 He made a Sea—an immense round basin of cast metal fifteen feet in diameter, seven and a half feet high, and forty-five feet in circumference. Just under the rim, there were two parallel bands of something like bulls, ten to each foot and a half. The figures were cast in one piece with the Sea. The Sea was set on twelve bulls, three facing north, three facing west, three facing south, and three facing east. All the bulls faced outward and supported the Sea on their hindquarters. The Sea was three inches thick and flared at the rim like a cup, or a lily. It held about 18,000 gallons.
6 He made ten Washbasins, five set on the right and five on the left, for rinsing the things used for the Whole-Burnt-Offerings. The priests washed themselves in the Sea.
7 He made ten gold Lampstands, following the specified pattern, and placed five on the right and five on the left.
8 He made ten tables and set five on the right and five on the left. He also made a hundred gold bowls.
9 He built a Courtyard especially for the priests and then the great court and doors for the court. The doors were covered with bronze.
10 He placed the Sea on the right side of The Temple at the southeast corner.
11-16 He also made ash buckets, shovels, and bowls.
And that about wrapped it up: Huram completed the work he had contracted to do for King Solomon:
two pillars;
two bowl-shaped capitals for the tops of the pillars;
two decorative filigrees for the capitals;
four hundred pomegranates for the filigrees (a double row of pomegranates for each filigree);
ten washstands with their basins;
one Sea and the twelve bulls under it;
miscellaneous buckets, forks, shovels, and bowls.
16-18 All these artifacts that Huram-Abi made for King Solomon for The Temple of God were made of burnished bronze. The king had them cast in clay in a foundry on the Jordan plain between Succoth and Zarethan. These artifacts were never weighed—there were far too many! Nobody has any idea how much bronze was used.
19-22 Solomon was also responsible for the furniture and accessories in The Temple of God:
the gold Altar;
the tables that held the Bread of the Presence;
the Lampstands of pure gold with their lamps, to be lighted before the Inner Sanctuary, the Holy of Holies;
the gold flowers, lamps, and tongs (all solid gold);
the gold wick trimmers, bowls, ladles, and censers;
the gold doors of The Temple, doors to the Holy of Holies, and the doors to the main sanctuary.

4 Moreover he made a Mizbe’ach nechoshet, twenty cubits the length thereof, and twenty cubits the width thereof, and ten cubits the height thereof.
2 Also he made a Yam Mutzak (Molten "Sea") of ten cubits from brim to brim. It was round, and five cubits the height thereof, and a line of thirty cubits did completely encircle it.
3 And under it was the demut (likeness) of bulls, all around, ten per cubit, surrounding the Yam. Two rows of bulls were cast, when it was cast.
4 It stood upon shneym asar bakar (twelve bulls), three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east; and the Yam was set above upon them, and all their hindquarters were toward the inside.
5 And the thickness of it was a handbreadth, and the brim of it like the work of the brim of a kos, like the flower of a lily; and it received and held the capacity of shloshet alafim baths.
6 He made also ten kiyyorim (lavers, basins for washing), and put five on the right and five on the left, to wash in them; such things as they offered for the olah (burnt offering) they washed in them; but the Yam was for the Kohanim to wash in.
7 And he made ten Menorot HaZahav as prescribed, and set them in the Heikhal, five on the right, and five on the left.
8 He made also ten Shulchanot, and placed them in the Heikhal, five on the right, and five on the left. And he made a hundred mizrekei zahav (golden basins).
9 Furthermore he made the Khatzer HaKohanim, and the Azarah HaGedolal (the Great Temple Courtyard area), and delatot laAzarah, and overlaid the daletot of them with nechoshet (bronze).
10 And he set the Yam on the right, eastward, opposite the south.
11 And Churam made the sirot, and the shovels, and the mizrakot. And Churam finished the melachah that he was to make for Melech Sh’lomo for the Beis HaElohim,
12 The two Ammudim, and the bases, and the capitals which were on the top of the two Ammudim, and the two nettings to cover the two bases of the capitals which were on the top of the Ammudim;
13 And four hundred pomegranates on the two nettings; two rows of pomegranates on each netting, to cover the two bases of the capitals which were upon the Ammudim.
14 He made also stands, and kiyyorot made he upon the stands,
15 One Yam, and twelve bakar under it.
16 The sirot also, and the shovels, and the mizlagot, and all their instruments, did Churam Aviv make for Melech Sh’lomo for the Bais Hashem of nechoshet maruk.
17 In the plain of Yarden did HaMelech cast them, in the avi ha’adamah between Sukkot and Tzeredatah.
18 Thus Sh’lomo made all these vessels in great abundance, for the weight of the nechoshet could not be found out.
19 And Sh’lomo made all the vessels that were for the Beis HaElohim, the Mizbe’ach HaZahav also, and the Shulchanot whereon the Lechem HaPanim was set;
20 Moreover the Menorot with their nerot (lamps), that they should burn as prescribed before the Devir, of zahav sagur;
21 And the flowers [see Ex.25:31], and the nerot (lamps), and the tongs, he made of zahav, and that perfect zahav;
22 And the snuffers, and the basins, and the ladles, and the firepans, of zahav sagur; and the Petach (Doorway) the Beis, the Daltot HaPenimiyyot (Inner Doors) thereof for the Kodesh HaKadashim, and the Daltot HaBeis laHeikhal, were of zahav.

The Altar, Reservoir, and Basins
4 He made a bronze altar(A) 30 feet[a] long, 30 feet[b] wide, and 15 feet[c] high.
2 Then he made the cast metal reservoir,(B) 15 feet[d] from brim to brim, perfectly round. It was 7½ feet[e] high and 45 feet[f] in circumference. 3 The likeness of oxen[g] was below it, completely encircling it, 10 every half yard,[h] completely surrounding the reservoir. The oxen were cast in two rows when the reservoir was cast. 4 It stood on 12 oxen, three facing north, three facing west, three facing south, and three facing east. The reservoir was on top of them and all their hindquarters were toward the center. 5 The reservoir was three inches[i] thick, and its rim was fashioned like the brim of a cup or a lily blossom. It could hold 11,000 gallons.[j]
6 He made 10 basins for washing and he put five on the right and five on the left.(C) The parts of the burnt offering were rinsed in them,(D) but the reservoir was used by the priests for washing.
The Lampstands, Tables, and Courts
7 He made the 10 gold lampstands according to their specifications and put them in the sanctuary, five on the right and five on the left.(E) 8 He made 10 tables and placed them in the sanctuary, five on the right and five on the left.(F) He also made 100 gold bowls.
9 He made the courtyard(G) of the priests and the large court, and doors for the court. He overlaid the doors with bronze. 10 He put the reservoir on the right side, toward the southeast.(H) 11 Then Huram[k](I) made(J) the pots, the shovels, and the bowls.
Completion of the Bronze Furnishings
So Huram finished doing the work that he was doing for King Solomon in God’s temple: 12 two pillars; the bowls and the capitals on top of the two pillars; the two gratings for covering both bowls of the capitals that were on top of the pillars; 13 the 400 pomegranates for the two gratings (two rows of pomegranates for each grating covering both capitals’ bowls on top of the pillars(K)). 14 He also made the water carts[l](L) and the basins on the water carts. 15 The one reservoir and the 12 oxen underneath it, 16 the pots, the shovels, the forks, and all their utensils—Huram-abi[m](M) made them for King Solomon for the Lord’s temple. All these were made of polished bronze. 17 The king had them cast in clay molds in the Jordan Valley between Succoth and Zeredah. 18 Solomon made all these utensils in such great abundance that the weight of the bronze was not determined.
Completion of the Gold Furnishings
19 Solomon also made all the equipment in God’s temple: the gold altar; the tables on which to put the bread of the Presence;(N) 20 the lampstands and their lamps of pure gold to burn in front of the inner sanctuary according to specifications;(O) 21 the flowers, lamps, and gold tongs—of purest gold; 22 the wick trimmers, sprinkling basins, ladles,[n] and firepans—of purest gold; and the entryway to the temple, its inner doors to the most holy place, and the doors of the temple sanctuary—of gold.
