13 他向耶和華禱告，耶和華應允他的懇求，垂聽他的祈求，使他歸回耶路撒冷，恢復他的王位。瑪拿西這才知道只有耶和華是 神。
14 此後，瑪拿西在大衛城外，從谷中的基訓西邊起直到魚門口，建了一道城牆，圍繞著俄斐勒，他把城牆建得很高；又在猶大各設防城裡，派駐軍長。
除掉一切偶像
15 又從耶和華的殿中除掉外族人的神和偶像，又把他在耶和華殿的山和在耶路撒冷所築的一切壇，都拋出城外。

New International Version
13 And when he prayed to him, the Lord was moved by his entreaty and listened to his plea; so he brought him back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord is God.
14 Afterward he rebuilt the outer wall of the City of David, west of the Gihon(A) spring in the valley, as far as the entrance of the Fish Gate(B) and encircling the hill of Ophel;(C) he also made it much higher. He stationed military commanders in all the fortified cities in Judah.
15 He got rid of the foreign gods and removed(D) the image from the temple of the Lord, as well as all the altars he had built on the temple hill and in Jerusalem; and he threw them out of the city.
