20 希西家王和亚摩斯的儿子以赛亚先知为了这事祷告，向天呼求。 21 耶和华就差派一位使者，进入亚述王的军营中，把所有英勇的战士、官长和将帅，尽都消灭了。亚述王满面羞愧返回本国去了。他进入自己的神庙的时候，他亲生的儿子在那里用刀把他杀了。 22 这样，耶和华拯救了希西家和耶路撒冷的居民，脱离了亚述王西拿基立的手，和其他仇敌的手，又使他们四境平安。

20 于是，希西迦王和亚摩斯的儿子以赛亚先知向天上的上帝呼求祷告。 21 耶和华就差遣一个天使进入亚述王营中，毁灭了所有的勇士、官长和将领。西拿基立只好满脸羞愧地返回自己的国家。趁他去他神明的庙里时，他的几个亲生儿子用刀杀了他。 22 这样，耶和华从亚述王西拿基立及一切仇敌手中拯救了希西迦和耶路撒冷的居民，使他们四境平安。

2 Chronicles 32:20-22
New International Version
20 King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz cried out in prayer(A) to heaven about this. 21 And the Lord sent an angel,(B) who annihilated all the fighting men and the commanders and officers in the camp of the Assyrian king. So he withdrew to his own land in disgrace. And when he went into the temple of his god, some of his sons, his own flesh and blood, cut him down with the sword.(C)
22 So the Lord saved Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib king of Assyria and from the hand of all others. He took care of them[a] on every side.

21 And the Lord sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own bowels slew him there with the sword.
22 Thus the Lord saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all other, and guided them on every side.
