犹大王约坦
27 约坦二十五岁登基，在耶路撒冷执政十六年。他母亲叫耶路莎，是撒督的女儿。 2 约坦效法他父亲乌西雅，做耶和华视为正的事，只是没有进耶和华的殿。民众仍继续败坏。 3 约坦建造耶和华殿的上门，大力修建俄斐勒的城墙。 4 他还在犹大山区建造城邑，在树林中建造营寨和瞭望塔。 5 他与亚扪人的王交战，打败了他们。在以后的三年中，亚扪人每年进贡三点四吨银子、小麦和大麦各二百二十万公升。 6 约坦日渐强盛，因为他坚守他的上帝耶和华的道。 7 约坦其他的事迹、所有战事和作为都记在以色列和犹大的列王史上。 8 他二十五岁登基，在耶路撒冷执政十六年。 9 约坦与祖先同眠后，葬在大卫城。他儿子亚哈斯继位。

Si Haring Jotam ng Juda(A)
27 Si Jotam ay dalawampu't limang taon nang siya'y nagsimulang maghari; at siya'y naghari sa loob ng labing-anim na taon sa Jerusalem. Ang pangalan ng kanyang ina ay Jerushah na anak ni Zadok.
2 At kanyang ginawa ang matuwid sa paningin ng Panginoon, ayon sa lahat ng ginawa ng kanyang amang si Uzias—liban lamang sa hindi niya pinasok ang templo ng Panginoon. Ngunit ang taong-bayan ay sumunod sa masasamang gawain.
3 Kanyang itinayo ang pang-itaas na pintuan ng bahay ng Panginoon, at marami siyang ginawa sa pader ng Ofel.
4 Bukod dito'y nagtayo siya ng mga lunsod sa lupaing maburol ng Juda, at ng mga kuta at mga tore sa magubat na burol.
5 Siya'y lumaban sa hari ng mga Ammonita at nagtagumpay laban sa kanila. At ang mga Ammonita ay nagbigay sa kanya nang taon ding iyon ng isandaang talentong pilak, at sampung libong koro ng trigo at sampung libo ng sebada. Ang mga Ammonita ay nagbayad sa kanya ng gayunding halaga sa ikalawa at ikatlong taon.
6 Kaya't si Jotam ay naging makapangyarihan, sapagkat inayos niya ang kanyang pamumuhay sa harapan ng Panginoon niyang Diyos.
7 Ang iba pa sa mga gawa ni Jotam, at ang lahat niyang mga pakikipagdigma, at ang kanyang pamumuhay ay nakasulat sa Aklat ng mga Hari ng Israel at Juda.
8 Siya'y dalawampu't limang taong gulang nang siya'y nagsimulang maghari, at siya'y naghari sa loob ng labing-anim na taon sa Jerusalem.

Jotham King of Judah(A)
27 Jotham(B) was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years. His mother’s name was Jerusha daughter of Zadok. 2 He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, just as his father Uzziah had done, but unlike him he did not enter the temple of the Lord. The people, however, continued their corrupt practices. 3 Jotham rebuilt the Upper Gate of the temple of the Lord and did extensive work on the wall at the hill of Ophel.(C) 4 He built towns in the hill country of Judah and forts and towers in the wooded areas.
5 Jotham waged war against the king of the Ammonites(D) and conquered them. That year the Ammonites paid him a hundred talents[a] of silver, ten thousand cors[b] of wheat and ten thousand cors[c] of barley. The Ammonites brought him the same amount also in the second and third years.
6 Jotham grew powerful(E) because he walked steadfastly before the Lord his God.
7 The other events in Jotham’s reign, including all his wars and the other things he did, are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah. 8 He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years. 9 Jotham rested with his ancestors and was buried in the City of David. And Ahaz his son succeeded him as king.

27 Jotham was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Jerushah, the daughter of Zadok.
2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Uzziah did: howbeit he entered not into the temple of the Lord. And the people did yet corruptly.
3 He built the high gate of the house of the Lord, and on the wall of Ophel he built much.
4 Moreover he built cities in the mountains of Judah, and in the forests he built castles and towers.
5 He fought also with the king of the Ammonites, and prevailed against them. And the children of Ammon gave him the same year an hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand measures of wheat, and ten thousand of barley. So much did the children of Ammon pay unto him, both the second year, and the third.
6 So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the Lord his God.
7 Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all his wars, and his ways, lo, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.
8 He was five and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem.
9 And Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David: and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.
