以萨迦的后裔

7 以萨迦的四个儿子是陀拉、普瓦、雅述和伸仑。 2 陀拉的儿子是乌西、利法雅、耶勒、雅买、易伯散和示姆利，他们都是陀拉宗族的族长。在大卫执政年间，陀拉家共有两万二千六百个英勇的战士。 3 乌西的儿子是伊斯拉希。伊斯拉希的儿子是米迦勒、俄巴底亚、约珥、伊示雅，他们五人都是族长。 4 他们妻儿众多，因此各宗族中可以出征作战的共有三万六千人。 5 按家谱的记载，以萨迦支派的各族中共有八万七千个英勇的战士。

便雅悯的后裔

14 玛拿西的妾是亚兰人，她给玛拿西生的儿子是亚斯列，另外还生了基列的父亲玛吉。 15 玛吉娶了户品和书品的妹妹玛迦。玛拿西的次子名叫西罗非哈，西罗非哈只有几个女儿。 16 玛吉的妻子玛迦生了一个儿子，给他取名叫毗利施。毗利施的兄弟名叫示利施，示利施的儿子是乌兰和利金。 17 乌兰的儿子是比但。这些都是基列的子孙。基列是玛吉的儿子，玛吉是玛拿西的儿子。 18 基列的妹妹哈摩利吉生了伊施何、亚比以谢和玛拉。 19 示米大的儿子是亚现、示剑、利克希和阿尼安。

以法莲的后裔

The Family of Issachar(A)

7 The sons of Issachar were (B)Tola, [a]Puah, [b]Jashub, and Shimron—four in all. 2 The sons of Tola were Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Jibsam, and Shemuel, heads of their father’s house. The sons of Tola were mighty men of valor in their generations; (C)their number in the days of David was twenty-two thousand six hundred. 3 The son of Uzzi was Izrahiah, and the sons of Izrahiah were Michael, Obadiah, Joel, and Ishiah. All five of them were chief men. 4 And with them, by their generations, according to their fathers’ houses, were thirty-six thousand troops ready for war; for they had many wives and sons.

5 Now their brethren among all the families of Issachar were mighty men of valor, listed by their genealogies, eighty-seven thousand in all.

The Family of Benjamin(D)

6 The sons of (E)Benjamin were Bela, Becher, and Jediael—three in all. 7 The sons of Bela were Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth, and Iri—five in all. They were heads of their fathers’ houses, and they were listed by their genealogies, twenty-two thousand and thirty-four mighty men of valor.

8 The sons of Becher were Zemirah, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jerimoth, Abijah, Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these are the sons of Becher. 9 And they were recorded by genealogy according to their generations, heads of their fathers’ houses, twenty thousand two hundred mighty men of valor. 10 The son of Jediael was Bilhan, and the sons of Bilhan were Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Chenaanah, Zethan, Tharshish, and Ahishahar.

11 All these sons of Jediael were heads of their fathers’ houses; there were seventeen thousand two hundred mighty men of valor fit to go out for war and battle. 12 [c]Shuppim and [d]Huppim were the sons of [e]Ir, and Hushim was the son of [f]Aher.

The Family of Naphtali(F)

13 The (G)sons of Naphtali were [g]Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, and [h]Shallum, the sons of Bilhah.

The Family of Manasseh (West)

14 The (H)descendants of Manasseh: his Syrian concubine bore him (I)Machir the father of Gilead, the father of Asriel. 15 Machir took as his wife the sister of [i]Huppim and [j]Shuppim, whose name was Maachah. The name of Gilead’s [k]grandson was (J)Zelophehad, but Zelophehad begot only daughters. 16 (Maachah the wife of Machir bore a son, and she called his name Peresh. The name of his brother was Sheresh, and his sons were Ulam and Rakem. 17 The son of Ulam was (K)Bedan.) These were the descendants of Gilead the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh.

18 His sister Hammoleketh bore Ishhod, [l]Abiezer, and Mahlah.

19 And the sons of Shemida were Ahian, Shechem, Likhi, and Aniam.

The Family of Ephraim

20 (L)The sons of Ephraim were Shuthelah, Bered his son, Tahath his son, Eladah his son, Tahath his son, 21 Zabad his son, Shuthelah his son, and Ezer and Elead. The men of Gath who were born in that land killed them because they came down to take away their cattle. 22 Then Ephraim their father mourned many days, and his brethren came to comfort him.

23 And when he went in to his wife, she conceived and bore a son; and he called his name [m]Beriah, because tragedy had come upon his house. 24 Now his daughter was Sheerah, who built Lower and Upper (M)Beth Horon and Uzzen Sheerah; 25 and Rephah was his son, as well as Resheph, and Telah his son, Tahan his son, 26 Laadan his son, Ammihud his son, (N)Elishama his son, 27 [n]Nun his son, and (O)Joshua his son.

28 Now their (P)possessions and dwelling places were Bethel and its towns: to the east [o]Naaran, to the west Gezer and its towns, and Shechem and its towns, as far as [p]Ayyah and its towns; 29 and by the borders of the children of (Q)Manasseh were Beth Shean and its towns, Taanach and its towns, (R)Megiddo and its towns, Dor and its towns. In these dwelt the children of Joseph, the son of Israel.

The Family of Asher(S)

30 (T)The sons of Asher were Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, Beriah, and their sister Serah. 31 The sons of Beriah were Heber and Malchiel, who was the father of [q]Birzaith. 32 And Heber begot Japhlet, [r]Shomer, [s]Hotham, and their sister Shua. 33 The sons of Japhlet were Pasach, Bimhal, and Ashvath. These were the children of Japhlet. 34 The sons of (U)Shemer were Ahi, Rohgah, Jehubbah, and Aram. 35 And the sons of his brother Helem were Zophah, Imna, Shelesh, and Amal. 36 The sons of Zophah were Suah, Harnepher, Shual, Beri, Imrah, 37 Bezer, Hod, Shamma, Shilshah, [t]Jithran, and Beera. 38 The sons of Jether were Jephunneh, Pispah, and Ara. 39 The sons of Ulla were Arah, Haniel, and Rizia.

40 All these were the children of Asher, heads of their fathers’ houses, choice men, mighty men of valor, chief leaders. And they were recorded by genealogies among the army fit for battle; their number was twenty-six thousand.

Les descendants d’Issacar

7 Issacar eut quatre fils[a] : Tola, Poua, Yashoub et Shimrôn. 2 Descendants de Tola : Ouzzi, Rephaya, Yeriel, Yahmaï, Yibsam et Samuel ; tous ceux-là furent les chefs des groupes familiaux de Tola, des guerriers valeureux dans leurs lignées ; à l’époque de David, ils étaient au nombre de 22 600. 3 Descendants d’Ouzzi : Yizrahya qui eut pour fils : Michaël, Abdias, Joël, Yishiya. Ils furent chefs tous les cinq. 4 Leurs groupes familiaux comptaient des corps d’armées totalisant 36 000 soldats, tant leurs femmes et leurs enfants étaient nombreux. 5 L’ensemble des membres de toutes les familles d’Issacar recensées se montait à 87 000 guerriers valeureux.

Les descendants de Benjamin

6 Benjamin eut trois fils[b] : Béla, Béker et Yediaël. 7 Béla eut cinq fils : Etsbôn, Ouzzi, Ouzziel, Yerimoth et Iri qui furent des chefs de leurs groupes familiaux et de valeureux guerriers, qu’on recensa au nombre de 22 034 hommes. 8 Descendants de Béker : Zemira, Joas, Eliézer, Elyoénaï ; Omri, Yerémoth, Abiya, Anatoth et Alameth. Tels étaient les descendants de Béker. 9 Le recensement selon les descendants des chefs de groupes familiaux donnait 20 200 guerriers valeureux. 10 Descendants de Yediaël : Bilhân, qui eut pour fils : Yeoush, Benjamin, Ehoud, Kenaana, Zétân, Tarsis et Ahishahar. 11 Tous ces descendants de Yediaël furent des chefs de leurs groupes familiaux qui comptaient 17 200 guerriers valeureux pouvant sortir pour le combat. 12 Shouppim et Houppim étaient fils d’Ir : Houshim était fils d’Ahèr.

Les descendants de Nephtali

13 Fils de Nephtali[c] : Yahtséel, Gouni, Yétser et Shalloum[d], descendants de Bilha.

Les descendants de Manassé

14 Descendants de Manassé[e] : Asriel, enfanté par son épouse syrienne de second rang. Elle lui donna aussi Makir, le père de Galaad. 15 Makir prit une femme pour Houppim et une pour Shouppim. Le nom de sa sœur était Maaka. Le nom du second fils était Tselophhad qui n’eut que des filles. 16 Maaka, femme de Makir, lui donna encore un fils qu’elle appela Péresh, dont le frère fut Shéresh ; ce dernier eut pour fils Oulam et Réqem. 17 Oulam eut pour fils Bedân. Tels sont les descendants de Galaad, fils de Makir, et petit-fils de Manassé. 18 Sa sœur Hammoléketh donna naissance à Ishhod, Abiézer et Mahla. 19 Les fils de Shemida étaient : Ahyân, Sichem, Liqhi et Aniam.

Les descendants d’Ephraïm

20 Les descendants d’Ephraïm[f] en ligne directe de père en fils furent : Shoutélah, Béred, Tahath, Eleada, Tahath, 21 Zabad, Shoutélah. Quant à Ezer et Elead, ils furent tués par les habitants de Gath natifs du pays, parce qu’ils avaient tenté de s’emparer de leurs troupeaux. 22 Ephraïm, leur père, porta longtemps leur deuil. Les gens de sa parenté vinrent le consoler. 23 Plus tard, Ephraïm s’unit à sa femme, elle devint enceinte et lui donna un fils qu’il appela Beria (Dans le malheur) car sa famille avait été dans le malheur[g]. 24 Ephraïm eut aussi une fille, Shééra, qui fortifia Beth-Horôn-la-Basse, Beth-Horôn-la-Haute, et Ouzzèn-Shééra. 25 Puis, en ligne directe de père en fils : Réphah, Résheph, Télah, Tahân, 26 Laedân, Ammihoud, Elishama, 27 Noun et Josué. 28 Les descendants d’Ephraïm avaient en propriété pour y habiter Béthel et les localités qui en dépendaient, à l’est, Naarân ; à l’ouest, Guézer et Sichem, et les localités qui dépendaient de ces deux villes ; leur territoire s’étendait jusqu’à Ayya et les localités qui en dépendaient. 29 Les descendants de Manassé possédaient les villes de Beth-Sheân, Taanak, Meguiddo, Dor et les localités qui dépendaient de celles-ci. C’est dans ces villes qu’habitèrent les descendants de Joseph, fils d’Israël.

Les descendants d’Aser

30 Fils d’Aser[h] : Yimna, Yishva, Yishvi et Beria ; leur sœur était Sérah. 31 Fils de Beria : Héber et Malkiel. Ce dernier fut le fondateur de Birzavith. 32 Héber eut pour fils Yaphleth, Shomer, Hotam et leur sœur Shoua. 33 Fils de Yaphleth : Pasak, Bimhal et Ashvath. Tels étaient les fils de Yaphleth. 34 Fils de Shémer : Ahi, Rohega, Yehoubba et Aram. 35 Fils de Hélem, son frère : Tsophah, Yimna, Shélesh et Amal. 36 Fils de Tsophah : Souah, Harnépher, Shoual, Béri, Yimra, 37 Bétser, Hod, Shamma, Shilsha, Yitrân et Beéra. 38 Fils de Yéter : Yephounné, Pispa et Ara. 39 Fils de Oulla : Arah, Hanniel et Ritsya. 40 Voici donc les descendants d’Aser, chefs de leurs groupes familiaux, hommes d’élite et guerriers valeureux, à la tête des chefs de famille[i]. Le nombre des hommes recensés dans leur armée pour le combat était de 26 000 hommes.
