The Sons of David(A)(B)
3 These were the sons of David(C) born to him in Hebron:
The firstborn was Amnon the son of Ahinoam(D) of Jezreel;(E)
the second, Daniel the son of Abigail(F) of Carmel;
2 the third, Absalom the son of Maakah daughter of Talmai king of Geshur;
the fourth, Adonijah(G) the son of Haggith;
3 the fifth, Shephatiah the son of Abital;
and the sixth, Ithream, by his wife Eglah.
4 These six were born to David in Hebron,(H) where he reigned seven years and six months.(I)
David reigned in Jerusalem thirty-three years, 5 and these were the children born to him there:
Shammua,[a] Shobab, Nathan and Solomon. These four were by Bathsheba[b](J) daughter of Ammiel. 6 There were also Ibhar, Elishua,[c] Eliphelet, 7 Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia, 8 Elishama, Eliada and Eliphelet—nine in all. 9 All these were the sons of David, besides his sons by his concubines. And Tamar(K) was their sister.(L)

14 Amon(Z) his son,
Josiah(AA) his son.
15 The sons of Josiah:
Johanan the firstborn,
Jehoiakim(AB) the second son,
Zedekiah(AC) the third,
Shallum(AD) the fourth.

17 The descendants of Jehoiachin the captive:
Shealtiel(AG) his son, 18 Malkiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar,(AH) Jekamiah, Hoshama and Nedabiah.(AI)
19 The sons of Pedaiah:
Zerubbabel(AJ) and Shimei.
The sons of Zerubbabel:
Meshullam and Hananiah.
Shelomith was their sister.
20 There were also five others:
Hashubah, Ohel, Berekiah, Hasadiah and Jushab-Hesed.
21 The descendants of Hananiah:
Pelatiah and Jeshaiah, and the sons of Rephaiah, of Arnan, of Obadiah and of Shekaniah.
22 The descendants of Shekaniah:
Shemaiah and his sons:
Hattush,(AK) Igal, Bariah, Neariah and Shaphat—six in all.
23 The sons of Neariah:
Elioenai, Hizkiah and Azrikam—three in all.
24 The sons of Elioenai:
Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah and Anani—seven in all.

Die Nachkommen von König David
3 In Hebron wurden König David folgende Söhne geboren:
Der älteste hieß Amnon, seine Mutter war Ahinoam aus Jesreel. Danach kam Daniel, seine Mutter war Abigajil aus Karmel. 2 Absalom war der dritte Sohn, seine Mutter hieß Maacha und war eine Tochter von Talmai, dem König von Geschur. Der vierte Sohn hieß Adonija, und seine Mutter war Haggit. 3 Der fünfte war Schefatja, seine Mutter hieß Abital. Jitream, der sechste, war der Sohn von Davids Frau Egla. 4 Diese sechs Söhne wurden in Hebron geboren. David regierte dort siebeneinhalb Jahre.
Danach regierte er in Jerusalem noch weitere 33 Jahre. 5 Dort brachte seine Frau Batseba, die Tochter von Eliam[a], vier Söhne zur Welt: Schammua, Schobab, Nathan und Salomo. 6 Dann wurden noch neun Söhne geboren: Jibhar, Elischua, Elpelet,[b] 7 Nogah, Nefeg, Jafia, 8 Elischama, Eljada und Elifelet. 9 David hatte eine Tochter namens Tamar. Die Söhne von Davids Nebenfrauen sind hier nicht aufgezählt.
10 Auf Salomo folgten in direkter Linie: Rehabeam, Abija, Asa, Joschafat, 11 Joram, Ahasja, Joasch, 12 Amazja, Asarja, Jotam, 13 Ahas, Hiskia, Manasse, 14 Amon und Josia.
15 Josias vier Söhne waren: Johanan, der älteste, Jojakim, Zedekia und Schallum.
16 Jojakim hatte einen Sohn namens Jojachin[c] und Jojachin wiederum einen Sohn namens Zedekia. 17 Die Söhne von Jojachin, der nach Babylonien verschleppt wurde, hießen: Schealtiël,[d] 18 Malkiram, Pedaja, Schenazzar, Jekamja, Hoschama und Nedabja.
19 Pedajas Söhne hießen Serubbabel und Schimi. Serubbabels Söhne waren Meschullam und Hananja; dazu kamen eine Tochter namens Schelomit 20 sowie weitere fünf Söhne: Haschuba, Ohel, Berechja, Hasadja und Juschab-Hesed.
21 Hananjas Söhne waren Pelatja und Jesaja. Auf Jesaja folgten in direkter Linie Refaja, Arnan, Obadja und Schechanja.[e]
22 Schechanjas Sohn hieß Schemaja. Schemaja hatte sechs Söhne: Hattusch, Jigal, Bariach, Nearja und Schafat.
23 Nearja hatte drei Söhne: Eljoënai, Hiskia und Asrikam.
24 Eljoënai hatte sieben Söhne: Hodawja, Eljaschib, Pelaja, Akkub, Johanan, Delaja und Anani.
