3 大卫在希伯仑所生的儿子记在下面：长子暗嫩，是耶斯列人亚希暖生的；次子但以利，是迦密人亚比该生的； 2 三子押沙龙，是基述王达买的女儿玛迦生的；四子亚多尼雅，是哈及生的； 3 五子示法提雅，是亚比她生的；六子以特念，是大卫的妻以格拉生的。 4 这六人都是大卫在希伯仑生的。大卫在希伯仑做王七年零六个月，在耶路撒冷做王三十三年。 5 大卫在耶路撒冷所生的儿子是：示米亚、朔罢、拿单、所罗门，这四人是亚米利的女儿拔书亚生的； 6 还有益辖、以利沙玛、以利法列、 7 挪迦、尼斐、雅非亚、 8 以利沙玛、以利雅大、以利法列，共九人。 9 这都是大卫的儿子，还有他们的妹子她玛；妃嫔的儿子不在其内。

3 These were the sons of David(C) born to him in Hebron:
The firstborn was Amnon the son of Ahinoam(D) of Jezreel;(E)
the second, Daniel the son of Abigail(F) of Carmel;
2 the third, Absalom the son of Maakah daughter of Talmai king of Geshur;
the fourth, Adonijah(G) the son of Haggith;
3 the fifth, Shephatiah the son of Abital;
and the sixth, Ithream, by his wife Eglah.
4 These six were born to David in Hebron,(H) where he reigned seven years and six months.(I)
David reigned in Jerusalem thirty-three years, 5 and these were the children born to him there:
Shammua,[a] Shobab, Nathan and Solomon. These four were by Bathsheba[b](J) daughter of Ammiel. 6 There were also Ibhar, Elishua,[c] Eliphelet, 7 Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia, 8 Elishama, Eliada and Eliphelet—nine in all. 9 All these were the sons of David, besides his sons by his concubines. And Tamar(K) was their sister.(L)

4 The descendants of Judah:(AL)
Perez, Hezron,(AM) Karmi, Hur and Shobal.
2 Reaiah son of Shobal was the father of Jahath, and Jahath the father of Ahumai and Lahad. These were the clans of the Zorathites.
3 These were the sons[f] of Etam:
Jezreel, Ishma and Idbash. Their sister was named Hazzelelponi. 4 Penuel was the father of Gedor, and Ezer the father of Hushah.
These were the descendants of Hur,(AN) the firstborn of Ephrathah and father[g] of Bethlehem.(AO)
5 Ashhur(AP) the father of Tekoa had two wives, Helah and Naarah.
6 Naarah bore him Ahuzzam, Hepher, Temeni and Haahashtari. These were the descendants of Naarah.
7 The sons of Helah:
Zereth, Zohar, Ethnan, 8 and Koz, who was the father of Anub and Hazzobebah and of the clans of Aharhel son of Harum.
9 Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez,[h] saying, “I gave birth to him in pain.” 10 Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.
11 Kelub, Shuhah’s brother, was the father of Mehir, who was the father of Eshton. 12 Eshton was the father of Beth Rapha, Paseah and Tehinnah the father of Ir Nahash.[i] These were the men of Rekah.
13 The sons of Kenaz:
Othniel(AQ) and Seraiah.
The sons of Othniel:
Hathath and Meonothai.[j] 14 Meonothai was the father of Ophrah.
Seraiah was the father of Joab,
the father of Ge Harashim.[k] It was called this because its people were skilled workers.
15 The sons of Caleb son of Jephunneh:
Iru, Elah and Naam.
The son of Elah:
Kenaz.
16 The sons of Jehallelel:
Ziph, Ziphah, Tiria and Asarel.
17 The sons of Ezrah:
Jether, Mered, Epher and Jalon. One of Mered’s wives gave birth to Miriam,(AR) Shammai and Ishbah the father of Eshtemoa. 18 (His wife from the tribe of Judah gave birth to Jered the father of Gedor, Heber the father of Soko, and Jekuthiel the father of Zanoah.(AS)) These were the children of Pharaoh’s daughter Bithiah, whom Mered had married.
19 The sons of Hodiah’s wife, the sister of Naham:
the father of Keilah(AT) the Garmite, and Eshtemoa the Maakathite.(AU)
20 The sons of Shimon:
Amnon, Rinnah, Ben-Hanan and Tilon.
The descendants of Ishi:
Zoheth and Ben-Zoheth.
21 The sons of Shelah(AV) son of Judah:
Er the father of Lekah, Laadah the father of Mareshah and the clans of the linen workers at Beth Ashbea, 22 Jokim, the men of Kozeba, and Joash and Saraph, who ruled in Moab and Jashubi Lehem. (These records are from ancient times.) 23 They were the potters who lived at Netaim and Gederah; they stayed there and worked for the king.

18 And his wife Jehudijah bare Jered the father of Gedor, and Heber the father of Socho, and Jekuthiel the father of Zanoah. And these are the sons of Bithiah the daughter of Pharaoh, which Mered took.
19 And the sons of his wife Hodiah the sister of Naham, the father of Keilah the Garmite, and Eshtemoa the Maachathite.

21 The sons of Shelah the son of Judah were, Er the father of Lecah, and Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the families of the house of them that wrought fine linen, of the house of Ashbea,
22 And Jokim, and the men of Chozeba, and Joash, and Saraph, who had the dominion in Moab, and Jashubilehem. And these are ancient things.
23 These were the potters, and those that dwelt among plants and hedges: there they dwelt with the king for his work.

Descendants of David
3 (A)These are the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron: the firstborn, Amnon, by Ahinoam the Jezreelite; the second, (B)Daniel, by Abigail the Carmelite, 2 the third, Absalom, whose mother was Maacah, the daughter of Talmai, king of Geshur; the fourth, Adonijah, whose mother was Haggith; 3 the fifth, Shephatiah, by Abital; the sixth, Ithream, by his wife Eglah; 4 six were born to him in Hebron, (C)where he reigned for seven years and six months. (D)And he reigned thirty-three years in Jerusalem. 5 (E)These were born to him in Jerusalem: (F)Shimea, Shobab, Nathan and (G)Solomon, four by (H)Bath-shua, the daughter of (I)Ammiel; 6 then Ibhar, (J)Elishama, Eliphelet, 7 Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia, 8 Elishama, (K)Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine. 9 All these were David's sons, besides the sons of the concubines, (L)and Tamar was their sister.
10 The son of Solomon was (M)Rehoboam, (N)Abijah his son, (O)Asa his son, (P)Jehoshaphat his son, 11 (Q)Joram his son, (R)Ahaziah his son, (S)Joash his son, 12 (T)Amaziah his son, (U)Azariah his son, (V)Jotham his son, 13 (W)Ahaz his son, (X)Hezekiah his son, (Y)Manasseh his son, 14 (Z)Amon his son, (AA)Josiah his son. 15 The sons of Josiah: (AB)Johanan the firstborn, the second (AC)Jehoiakim, the third (AD)Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum. 16 The descendants of (AE)Jehoiakim: (AF)Jeconiah his son, (AG)Zedekiah his son; 17 and the sons of Jeconiah, the (AH)captive: (AI)Shealtiel his son, 18 Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama and Nedabiah; 19 and the sons of Pedaiah: (AJ)Zerubbabel and Shimei; and the sons of (AK)Zerubbabel: Meshullam and Hananiah, and Shelomith was their sister; 20 and Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-hesed, five. 21 The sons of Hananiah: Pelatiah and Jeshaiah, his son[a] Rephaiah, his son Arnan, his son Obadiah, his son Shecaniah. 22 The son[b] of Shecaniah: (AL)Shemaiah. And the sons of Shemaiah: (AM)Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat, six. 23 The sons of Neariah: Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam, three. 24 The sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani, seven.

4 (AN)The sons of Judah: (AO)Perez, Hezron, (AP)Carmi, Hur, and Shobal. 2 (AQ)Reaiah the son of Shobal fathered Jahath, and Jahath fathered Ahumai and Lahad. These were the clans of the (AR)Zorathites. 3 These were the sons[c] of Etam: Jezreel, Ishma, and Idbash; and the name of their sister was Hazzelelponi, 4 and (AS)Penuel fathered (AT)Gedor, and Ezer fathered Hushah. These were the sons of Hur, the firstborn of (AU)Ephrathah, the father of Bethlehem. 5 (AV)Ashhur, the father of Tekoa, had two wives, Helah and Naarah; 6 Naarah bore him Ahuzzam, Hepher, Temeni, and Haahashtari. These were the sons of Naarah. 7 The sons of Helah: Zereth, Izhar, and Ethnan. 8 Koz fathered Anub, Zobebah, and the clans of Aharhel, the son of Harum. 9 Jabez was (AW)more honorable than his brothers; and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.”[d] 10 Jabez called upon the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harm[e] so that it might not bring me pain!” And God granted what he asked. 11 Chelub, the brother of Shuhah, fathered Mehir, who fathered Eshton. 12 Eshton fathered Beth-rapha, Paseah, and Tehinnah, the father of Ir-nahash. These are the men of Recah. 13 The sons of (AX)Kenaz: (AY)Othniel and Seraiah; and the sons of Othniel: Hathath and Meonothai.[f] 14 Meonothai fathered Ophrah; and Seraiah fathered Joab, the father of Ge-harashim,[g] so-called because they were craftsmen. 15 The sons of (AZ)Caleb the son of Jephunneh: Iru, Elah, and Naam; and the son[h] of Elah: Kenaz. 16 The sons of Jehallelel: Ziph, Ziphah, Tiria, and Asarel. 17 The sons of Ezrah: Jether, Mered, Epher, and Jalon. These are the sons of Bithiah, the daughter of Pharaoh, whom Mered married;[i] and she conceived and bore[j] Miriam, Shammai, and Ishbah, the father of Eshtemoa. 18 And his Judahite wife bore (BA)Jered the father of Gedor, Heber the father of Soco, and Jekuthiel the father of Zanoah. 19 The sons of the wife of Hodiah, the sister of Naham, were the fathers of Keilah the Garmite and Eshtemoa the Maacathite. 20 The sons of Shimon: Amnon, Rinnah, Ben-hanan, and Tilon. The sons of Ishi: Zoheth and Ben-zoheth. 21 The sons of (BB)Shelah the son of Judah: Er the father of Lecah, Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the clans of the house of linen workers at Beth-ashbea; 22 and Jokim, and the men of Cozeba, and Joash, and Saraph, who ruled in Moab and returned to Lehem[k] (now the records[l] are ancient). 23 These were the potters who were inhabitants of Netaim and Gederah. They lived there in the king's service.
