²⁰大衛又對他的兒子所羅門說：“你要堅強勇敢地去作，不要懼怕，也不要驚惶，因為耶和華　神，就是我的　神，與你同在；他必不撇下你，也不丟棄你，直到耶和華殿的一切工作都完成。 ²¹你看，有祭司和利未人的各班次，辦理神殿裡的一切事務；又有各種的巧匠，在各樣的工作上，樂意幫助你，並且眾領袖和所有的人民，都聽從你的一切命令。”

¹⁹“All this,” David said, “I have in writing as a result of the Lord’s hand on me, and he enabled me to understand all the details^(A) of the plan.^(B)”

²⁰David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous,^(C) and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake^(D) you until all the work for the service of the temple of the Lord is finished.^(E) ²¹The divisions of the priests and Levites are ready for all the work on the temple of God, and every willing person skilled^(F) in any craft will help you in all the work. The officials and all the people will obey your every command.”
