16 众人将上帝的约柜抬进去，安放在大卫所搭的帐篷里，然后在上帝面前献上燔祭和平安祭。 2 大卫献上燔祭和平安祭后，就奉耶和华的名给民众祝福， 3 又给以色列男女每人一个饼、一块肉和一个葡萄饼。
4 大卫指派一些利未人在耶和华的约柜前事奉，颂扬、称谢和赞美以色列的上帝耶和华。 5 为首的是亚萨，其次是撒迦利雅、雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、玛他提雅、以利押、比拿雅、俄别·以东和耶利，他们鼓瑟弹琴，亚萨敲钹。 6 比拿雅和雅哈悉两位祭司在上帝的约柜前吹号。
大卫的颂歌
7 那一天，大卫初次指派亚萨和他的亲族唱诗歌颂耶和华，说：
8 “你们要称谢耶和华，
呼求祂的名，
在列邦传扬祂的作为。
9 要歌颂、赞美祂，
述说祂一切奇妙的作为。
10 要以祂的圣名为荣，
愿寻求耶和华的人都欢欣。
11 要寻求耶和华和祂的能力，
时常来到祂面前。
12-13 祂仆人以色列的后裔啊，
祂所拣选的雅各的子孙啊，
要记住祂所行的神迹奇事和祂口中的判词。
14 “祂是我们的上帝耶和华，
祂在普天下施行审判。
15 你们要永远铭记祂的约，
要思想祂的应许直到千代，
16 就是祂与亚伯拉罕所立的约，
向以撒所起的誓。
17 祂将这约定为律例赐给雅各，
定为永远的约赐给以色列。
18 祂说，‘我必把迦南赐给你，

23 “普天下都要歌颂耶和华，
要天天传扬祂的救恩；
24 要在列国述说祂的荣耀，
在万民中述说祂的奇妙作为。
25 因为耶和华无比伟大，
当受至高的颂扬；
祂超越一切神明，
当受敬畏。
26 列邦的神明都是假的，
唯独耶和华创造了诸天。
27 祂尊贵威严，
祂的圣所充满能力和喜乐。
28 “万族万民啊，
要把荣耀和能力归给耶和华，
归给耶和华！
29 要将耶和华当得的荣耀归给祂，
要将供物献给祂，
要穿上圣洁的衣服敬拜祂。
30 普天下要在祂面前战抖；
祂坚立世界，使它不致摇动。
31 愿天欢喜，愿地快乐；
愿他们向列国宣告，
‘耶和华是王！’
32 愿海洋和其中的万物都欢呼，
愿田野和其中的一切都欢腾！
33 那时，林中的树木都要在耶和华面前欢唱，
因为祂要来审判天下。
34 要称谢耶和华，
因为祂是美善的，
祂的慈爱永远长存！
35 “要说，‘拯救我们的上帝啊，
求你救我们，招聚我们，
从列国把我们救出来，
我们好称谢你的圣名，
以赞美你为荣。’
36 从亘古到永远，
以色列的上帝耶和华当受称颂！”
众民都说：“阿们”，
并赞美耶和华。
分派事奉的人员
37 大卫派亚萨及其亲族天天在约柜前事奉耶和华，尽当尽的职分； 38 又派俄别·以东及其六十八位亲族、何萨和耶杜顿的儿子俄别·以东守门； 39 并派祭司撒督及其他祭司在基遍高地的耶和华的圣幕前供职， 40 按照耶和华在律法书上对以色列人的吩咐，每日早晚在祭坛上献燔祭给耶和华。 41 与他们一同供职的有希幔、耶杜顿和其他人，他们被特别选出来称谢上帝，因为祂有永恒的慈爱。 42 希幔和耶杜顿负责用号、钹及其他乐器伴奏歌颂上帝。耶杜顿的子孙负责守门。 43 于是，众民各自回家，大卫也回去为家人祝福。

16 Así trajeron el arca de Dios, y la asentaron en medio de la tienda que David había tendido para ella; y ofrecieron holocaustos y pacíficos delante de Dios.
2 Y cuando David hubo acabado de ofrecer el holocausto y los pacíficos, bendijo al pueblo en el nombre del SEÑOR.
3 Y repartió a todo Israel, así a hombres como a mujeres, a cada uno una torta de pan, y una pieza de carne, y un frasco de vino.
4 Y puso delante del arca del SEÑOR ministros de los levitas, para que recordaran, y confesaran, y loaran al SEÑOR Dios de Israel:
5 Asaf era el primero, el segundo después de él Zacarías, Jeiel, Semiramot, Jeiel, Matatías, Eliab, Benaía, Obed-edom, y Jehiel, con sus instrumentos de salterios y arpas; y Asaf resonaba con címbalos;
6 y Benaía y Jahaziel, sacerdotes, continuamente con trompetas delante del arca del pacto de Dios.
7 ¶ Entonces, en aquel día, dio David principio a confesar al SEÑOR por mano de Asaf y de sus hermanos:
8 Confesad al SEÑOR, invocad su nombre, haced notorias en los pueblos sus obras.
9 Cantad a él, cantadle salmos; hablad de todas sus maravillas.
10 Gloriaos en su santo nombre; alégrese el corazón de los que buscan al SEÑOR.
11 Buscad al SEÑOR y su fortaleza; buscad su rostro continuamente.
12 Haced memoria de sus maravillas que ha obrado, de sus prodigios, y de los juicios de su boca,
13 oh vosotros, simiente de Israel su esclavo, hijos de Jacob, sus escogidos.
14 El SEÑOR, él es nuestro Dios; sus juicios, en toda la tierra.
15 Haced memoria de su pacto perpetuamente, y de la palabra que él mandó en mil generaciones.
16 El pacto que cortó con Abraham, y de su juramento a Isaac;
17 la cual él confirmó a Jacob por estatuto, y a Israel en pacto eterno,
18 diciendo: A ti daré la tierra de Canaán, cuerda de vuestra herencia;
19 siendo vosotros pocos hombres en número, y peregrinos en ella.
20 Y anduvieron de nación en nación, y de un reino a otro pueblo.
21 No permitió que nadie los oprimiera; antes por amor de ellos castigó a los reyes.
22 No toquéis, dijo, a mis ungidos, ni hagáis mal a mis profetas.
23 Cantad al SEÑOR, toda la tierra; anunciad de día en día su salud.
24 Declarad entre los gentiles su gloria, y en todos los pueblos sus maravillas.
25 Porque grande es el SEÑOR, y digno de ser grandemente loado, y de ser temido sobre todos los dioses.
26 Porque todos los dioses de los pueblos no son nada; mas el SEÑOR hizo los cielos.
27 Potencia y hermosura están delante de él; fortaleza y alegría en su morada.
28 Atribuid al SEÑOR, oh familias de los pueblos, atribuid al SEÑOR gloria y potencia.
29 Atribuid al SEÑOR la gloria de su nombre; traed presente, y venid delante de él; postraos delante del SEÑOR en la hermosura de su santidad.
30 Temed delante de su presencia, toda la tierra; que el mundo está aún afirmado para que no se conmueva.
31 Los cielos se alegren, y la tierra se goce, y digan entre los gentiles: Reina el SEÑOR.
32 El mar truene, y todo lo que en él está; alégrese el campo, y todo lo que contiene.
33 Entonces cantarán los árboles de los bosques delante del SEÑOR, porque viene a juzgar la tierra.
34 Confesad al SEÑOR, porque es bueno; porque su misericordia es eterna.
35 Y decid: Sálvanos, oh Dios, salud nuestra; júntanos, y líbranos de los gentiles, para que confesemos tu santo nombre, y nos gloriemos en tu alabanza.
36 Bendito sea el SEÑOR Dios de Israel, de eternidad a eternidad; y digan todos los pueblos, Amén; y alabanza al SEÑOR.
37 Y dejó allí, delante del arca del pacto del SEÑOR, a Asaf y a sus hermanos, para que ministraran de continuo delante del arca, cada cosa en su día.
38 Y a Obed-edom y a sus hermanos, sesenta y ocho; y a Obed-edom hijo de Jedutún, y a Asa, por porteros.
39 Y a Sadoc el sacerdote, y a sus hermanos los sacerdotes, delante del tabernáculo del SEÑOR en el lugar alto que estaba en Gabaón,
40 para que sacrificaran continuamente, a mañana y tarde, holocaustos al SEÑOR en el altar del holocausto, conforme a todo lo que está escrito en la ley del SEÑOR, que él mandó a Israel;
41 y con ellos a Hemán y a Jedutún, y los otros escogidos declarados por sus nombres, para confesar al SEÑOR, porque su misericordia es eterna.
42 Y con ellos a Hemán y a Jedutún con trompetas y címbalos para sonar, con otros instrumentos de música de Dios; y los hijos de Jedutún, por porteros.
43 Y todo el pueblo se fue cada uno a su casa; y David se volvió para bendecir su casa.

16 Así trajeron el arca de Dios, y la pusieron en medio de la tienda que David había levantado para ella; y ofrecieron holocaustos y sacrificios de paz delante de Dios. 2 Y cuando David acabó de ofrecer el holocausto y los sacrificios de paz, bendijo al pueblo en el nombre de Jehová. 3 Y repartió a todo Israel, así a hombres como a mujeres, a cada uno una torta de pan, una pieza de carne, y una torta de pasas.
4 Y puso delante del arca de Jehová ministros de los levitas, para que recordasen y confesasen y loasen a Jehová Dios de Israel: 5 Asaf el primero; el segundo después de él, Zacarías; Jeiel, Semiramot, Jehiel, Matatías, Eliab, Benaía, Obed-edom y Jeiel, con sus instrumentos de salterios y arpas; pero Asaf sonaba los címbalos. 6 También los sacerdotes Benaía y Jahaziel sonaban continuamente las trompetas delante del arca del pacto de Dios.

Ministering Before the Ark(A)(B)(C)
16 They brought the ark of God and set it inside the tent that David had pitched(D) for it, and they presented burnt offerings and fellowship offerings before God. 2 After David had finished sacrificing the burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, he blessed(E) the people in the name of the Lord. 3 Then he gave a loaf of bread, a cake of dates and a cake of raisins(F) to each Israelite man and woman.
4 He appointed some of the Levites to minister(G) before the ark of the Lord, to extol,[a] thank, and praise the Lord, the God of Israel: 5 Asaph was the chief, and next to him in rank were Zechariah, then Jaaziel,[b] Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-Edom and Jeiel. They were to play the lyres and harps, Asaph was to sound the cymbals, 6 and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests were to blow the trumpets regularly before the ark of the covenant of God.
7 That day David first appointed Asaph and his associates to give praise(H) to the Lord in this manner:
8 Give praise(I) to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make known among the nations(J) what he has done.
9 Sing to him, sing praise(K) to him;
tell of all his wonderful acts.
10 Glory in his holy name;(L)
let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
11 Look to the Lord and his strength;
seek(M) his face always.
12 Remember(N) the wonders(O) he has done,
his miracles,(P) and the judgments he pronounced,
13 you his servants, the descendants of Israel,
his chosen ones, the children of Jacob.
14 He is the Lord our God;
his judgments(Q) are in all the earth.
15 He remembers[c](R) his covenant forever,
the promise he made, for a thousand generations,
16 the covenant(S) he made with Abraham,
the oath he swore to Isaac.
17 He confirmed it to Jacob(T) as a decree,
to Israel as an everlasting covenant:
18 “To you I will give the land of Canaan(U)
as the portion you will inherit.”
19 When they were but few in number,(V)
few indeed, and strangers in it,
20 they[d] wandered(W) from nation to nation,
from one kingdom to another.
21 He allowed no one to oppress them;
for their sake he rebuked kings:(X)
22 “Do not touch my anointed ones;
do my prophets(Y) no harm.”
23 Sing to the Lord, all the earth;
proclaim his salvation day after day.
24 Declare his glory(Z) among the nations,
his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
25 For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;(AA)
he is to be feared(AB) above all gods.(AC)
26 For all the gods of the nations are idols,
but the Lord made the heavens.(AD)
27 Splendor and majesty are before him;
strength and joy are in his dwelling place.
28 Ascribe to the Lord, all you families of nations,
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.(AE)
29 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;(AF)
bring an offering and come before him.
Worship the Lord in the splendor of his[e] holiness.(AG)
30 Tremble(AH) before him, all the earth!
The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.(AI)
31 Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;(AJ)
let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns!(AK)”
32 Let the sea resound, and all that is in it;(AL)
let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them!
33 Let the trees(AM) of the forest sing,
let them sing for joy before the Lord,
for he comes to judge(AN) the earth.
34 Give thanks(AO) to the Lord, for he is good;(AP)
his love endures forever.(AQ)
35 Cry out, “Save us, God our Savior;(AR)
gather us and deliver us from the nations,
that we may give thanks to your holy name,
and glory in your praise.”
36 Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel,(AS)
from everlasting to everlasting.
Then all the people said “Amen” and “Praise the Lord.”
37 David left Asaph and his associates before the ark of the covenant of the Lord to minister there regularly, according to each day’s requirements.(AT) 38 He also left Obed-Edom(AU) and his sixty-eight associates to minister with them. Obed-Edom son of Jeduthun, and also Hosah,(AV) were gatekeepers.
39 David left Zadok(AW) the priest and his fellow priests before the tabernacle of the Lord at the high place in Gibeon(AX) 40 to present burnt offerings to the Lord on the altar of burnt offering regularly, morning and evening, in accordance with everything written in the Law(AY) of the Lord, which he had given Israel. 41 With them were Heman(AZ) and Jeduthun and the rest of those chosen and designated by name to give thanks to the Lord, “for his love endures forever.” 42 Heman and Jeduthun were responsible for the sounding of the trumpets and cymbals and for the playing of the other instruments for sacred song.(BA) The sons of Jeduthun(BB) were stationed at the gate.
43 Then all the people left, each for their own home, and David returned home to bless his family.

16 So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.
2 And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord.
3 And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine.
4 And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the Lord, and to record, and to thank and praise the Lord God of Israel:
5 Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obededom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals;
6 Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.
7 Then on that day David delivered first this psalm to thank the Lord into the hand of Asaph and his brethren.
8 Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
9 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.
10 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.
11 Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually.
12 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
13 O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
14 He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
15 Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;
16 Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;
17 And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
18 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;
19 When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it.
20 And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people;
21 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,
22 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
23 Sing unto the Lord, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation.
24 Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations.
25 For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods.
26 For all the gods of the people are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.
27 Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.
28 Give unto the Lord, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
29 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
30 Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
31 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The Lord reigneth.
32 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.
33 Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the Lord, because he cometh to judge the earth.
34 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
35 And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.
36 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the Lord.
37 So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the Lord Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required:
38 And Obededom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obededom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be porters:
39 And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the Lord in the high place that was at Gibeon,
40 To offer burnt offerings unto the Lord upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the law of the Lord, which he commanded Israel;
41 And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the Lord, because his mercy endureth for ever;
42 And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were porters.
43 And all the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.
