大卫的宫殿和家人
14 泰尔王希兰差遣使者带着香柏木、木匠和石匠去为大卫建造宫殿。 2 那时，大卫知道耶和华已立他做以色列的王，并因自己以色列子民的缘故而使他国家兴旺。
3 大卫在耶路撒冷又娶了多位妻子，生了许多儿女。 4 他在耶路撒冷所生的孩子有沙姆亚、朔罢、拿单、所罗门、 5 益辖、以利书亚、以法列、 6 挪迦、尼斐、雅非亚、 7 以利沙玛、比利雅大和以利法列。
打败非利士人
8 非利士人听说大卫已被膏立为以色列王，就全军出动搜寻大卫。大卫得知后，便出来迎敌。 9 非利士人前来袭击利乏音谷。 10 大卫就求问上帝说：“我可以去迎战非利士人吗？你会把他们交在我手里吗？”耶和华说：“去吧，我必把他们交在你手里。”
11 于是，大卫前往巴力·毗拉心，击败了非利士人。他说：“上帝借我的手击溃敌人，如洪水冲垮堤岸。”所以，那地方叫巴力·毗拉心[a]。 12 非利士人在那里丢弃了他们的神像，大卫命人把它们烧掉。 13 非利士人又来袭击那山谷， 14 大卫又求问上帝，上帝对他说：“你不要正面出击，要绕到他们后面，从桑林对面攻打他们。 15 当你听见桑树梢上响起脚步声时，就要进攻，因为那表示耶和华已在你前头去攻击非利士的军队了。” 16 大卫遵命而行，打败非利士人，从基遍一直杀到基色。 17 于是，大卫名扬列国，耶和华使列国都惧怕他。

عَائِلَةُ دَاوُد
14 وَأرْسَلَ حِيرَامُ مَلِكُ صُورٍ رُسُلًا إلَى دَاوُدَ مَعَ خَشَبِ أرزٍ، وَبَنَّائِينَ، وَنَجَّارِينَ لِكَي يَبْنُوا لَهُ بَيْتًا. 2 وَتَيَقَّنَ أنَّ اللهَ قَدْ ثَبَّتَهُ مَلِكًا عَلَى إسْرَائِيلَ، لِأنَّ مَملَكَتَهُ صَارَتْ قَوِيَّةً جِدًّا، مِنْ أجْلِ شَعْبِهِ إسْرَائِيلَ.
3 وَاتَّخَذَ دَاوُدُ لِنَفْسِهِ مَزِيدًا مِنَ الزَّوْجَاتِ فِي القَدْسِ، وَأنْجَبَ مَزِيدًا مِنَ الأبْنَاءِ وَالبَنَاتِ. 4 وَهَذِهِ هِيَ أسْمَاءُ أبْنَائِهِ الَّذِينَ وُلِدُوا فِي القُدْسِ، شَمُّوعُ وَشُوبَابُ وَنَاثَانُ وَسُلَيمَانُ 5 وَيِبْحَارُ وَألِيشُوعُ وَألِفَالَطُ 6 وَنُوجَهُ وَنَافَجُ وَيَافِيعُ 7 وَألِيشَمَعُ وَبَعَلْيَادَاعُ وَألِيفَلَطُ.
دَاوُدُ يَهْزِمُ الفِلِسْطِيِّين
8 وَسَمِعَ الفِلِسْطِيُّونَ أنَّ دَاوُدَ مُسِحَ بِالزَّيْتِ مَلِكًا عَلَى إسْرَائِيلَ كُلِّهَا. فَصَعِدَ الفِلِسْطِيُّونَ كُلُّهُمْ بَحْثًا عَنْ دَاوُدَ. وَسَمِعَ دَاوُدُ بِذَلِكَ، فَخَرَجَ لِمُلَاقَاتِهِمْ. 9 وَكَانَ الفِلِسْطِيُّونَ قَدْ جَاءُوا وَأغَارُوا عَلَى وَادِي رِفَائِيِمَ، 10 فَسَألَ دَاوُدُ اللهَ: «هَلْ أصْعَدُ لِمُحَارَبَةِ الفِلِسْطِيِّينَ؟ وَهَلْ سَتُعِينُنِي عَلَى هَزِيمَتِهِمْ؟»
فَقَالَ لَهُ اللهُ: «نَعَمْ، اذهَبْ لِمُحَارَبَتِهِمْ، وَسَأُعِينُكَ عَلَى هَزِيمَتِهِمْ.»
11 فَذَهَبَ دَاوُدُ وَرِجَالُهُ لِمُحَارَبَتِهِمْ فِي بَعلِ فَرَاصِيمَ، وَهَزَمَهُمْ دَاوُدُ هُنَاكَ. فَقَالَ دَاوُدُ: «اختَرَقَ اللهُ بِي أعْدَائِي كَمَا تَخْتَرِقُ السُّيُولُ سَدًّا.» وَلِهَذَا سُمِّيَ ذَلِكَ المَكَانُ «بَعلَ فَرَاصِيمَ.» 12 وَتَرَكَ الفِلِسْطِيُّونَ هُنَاكَ تَمَاثِيلَ آلِهَتِهِمْ، فَأمَرَ دَاوُدُ بِإحرَاقِهَا.
مَعْرَكَةٌ أُخرَى ضِدَّ الفِلِسْطِيِّين
13 وَأغَارَ الفِلِسْطِيُّونَ عَلَى الوَادِي مَرَّةً أُخْرَى. 14 وَصَلَّى دَاوُدُ إلَى اللهِ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى، فَقَالَ لَهُ اللهُ: «لَا تَهْجُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ مُواجَهَةً، بَلْ دُرْ حَوْلَهُمْ وَاهجُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ نَاحِيَةِ أشْجَارِ البَلَسَانِ. 15 وَعِنْدَمَا تَسْمَعُ صَوْتَ خُطَوَاتٍ فِي أعَلَى أشْجَارِ البَلَسَانِ، حِينَئِذٍ، اخرُجْ لِلقِتَالِ، لِأنَّ اللهَ خَارِجٌ أمَامَكَ لِهَزِيمَةِ جَيْشِ الفِلِسْطِيِّينَ.» 16 فَفَعَلَ دَاوُدُ كَمَا أمَرَهُ اللهُ، فَهَزَمَ دَاوُدُ وَجَيْشُهُ الجَيْشَ الفِلِسْطِيَّ مِنْ جَبْعُونَ إلَى جَازَرَ. 17 وَذَاعَ صِيتُ دَاوُدَ فِي جَمِيعِ البِلَادِ، فَجَعَلَ اللهُ كُلَّ الأُمَمِ تَهَابُهُ.
1 Chronicles 14
American Standard Version
14 And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar-trees, and masons, and carpenters, to build him a house. 2 And David perceived that Jehovah had established him king over Israel; for his kingdom was exalted on high, for his people Israel’s sake.
3 And David took more wives at Jerusalem; and David begat more sons and daughters. 4 And these are the names of the children whom he had in Jerusalem: Shammua, and Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon, 5 and Ibhar, and Elishua, and Elpelet, 6 and Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia, 7 and Elishama, and Beeliada, and Eliphelet.
8 And when the Philistines heard that David was anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David: and David heard of it, and went out [a]against them. 9 Now the Philistines had come and made a raid in the valley of Rephaim. 10 And David inquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? and wilt thou deliver them into my hand? And Jehovah said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them into thy hand. 11 So they came up to Baal-perazim, and David smote them there; and David said, God hath [b]broken mine enemies by my hand, like the breach of waters. Therefore they called the name of that place [c]Baal-perazim. 12 And they left their gods there; and David gave commandment, and they were burned with fire.
13 And the Philistines yet again made a raid in the valley. 14 And David inquired again of God; and God said unto him, Thou shalt not go up after them: turn away from them, and come upon them over against the [d]mulberry-trees. 15 And it shall be, when thou hearest the sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry-trees, that then thou shalt go out to battle; for God is gone out before thee to smite the host of the Philistines. 16 And David did as God commanded him: and they smote the host of the Philistines from [e]Gibeon even to Gezer. 17 And the fame of David went out into all lands; and Jehovah brought the fear of him upon all nations.
