14 泰尔王希兰差遣使者带着香柏木、木匠和石匠去为大卫建造宫殿。 ²那时，大卫知道耶和华已立他做以色列的王，并因自己以色列子民的缘故而使他国家兴旺。

14 泰爾王希蘭差遣使者帶著香柏木、木匠和石匠去為大衛建造宮殿。 ²那時，大衛知道耶和華已立他做以色列的王，並因自己以色列子民的緣故而使他國家興旺。

14 Now Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and timber of cedars, with masons and carpenters, to build him an house.

²And David perceived that the Lord had confirmed him king over Israel, for his kingdom was lifted up on high, because of his people Israel.
