大衛做以色列人的王

11 以色列人都聚集到希伯崙來見大衛，對他說：「我們是你的骨肉同胞。 ²從前，即使掃羅做王的時候，率領以色列人出征打仗的仍是你。你的上帝耶和華也曾應許讓你做祂以色列子民的牧者和首領。」

1 Chronicles 11:1-2

King James Version

11 Then all Israel gathered themselves to David unto Hebron, saying, Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh.

²And moreover in time past, even when Saul was king, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the Lord thy God said unto thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be ruler over my people Israel.

David Becomes King Over Israel^(A)

11 All Israel^(B) came together to David at Hebron^(C) and said, “We are your own flesh and blood. ²In the past, even while Saul was king, you were the one who led Israel on their military campaigns.^(D) And the Lord your God said to you, ‘You will shepherd^(E) my people Israel, and you will become their ruler.^(F)’”
