1 亚当、塞特、以挪士、 2 该南、玛勒列、雅列、 3 以诺、玛土撒拉、拉麦、 4 挪亚、挪亚生闪、含和雅弗。
5 雅弗的儿子是歌篾、玛各、玛代、雅完、土巴、米设、提拉。 6 歌篾的儿子是亚实基拿、低法、陀迦玛。 7 雅完的儿子是以利沙、他施，基提人和多单人也是他的子孙。
8 含的儿子是古实、埃及、弗和迦南。 9 古实的儿子是西巴、哈腓拉、撒弗他、拉玛和撒弗提迦。拉玛的儿子是示巴和底但。 10 古实又生宁录；宁录是世上第一位英雄。 11 埃及生路低人、亚拿米人、利哈比人、拿弗土希人、 12 帕斯鲁细人、迦斯路希人和迦斐托人；从迦斐托而出的有非利士人。
13 迦南生了长子西顿，又生赫。 14 他的子孙还有：耶布斯人、亚摩利人、革迦撒人、 15 希未人、亚基人、西尼人、 16 亚瓦底人、洗玛利人和哈马人。
17 闪的儿子是以拦、亚述、亚法撒、路德、亚兰；亚兰的儿子是（《马索拉文本》缺“亚兰的儿子是”，现参照《七十士译本》补上；参创10:23）、乌斯、户勒、基帖、米设。 18 亚法撒生沙拉，沙拉生希伯。 19 希伯生了两个儿子，一个名叫法勒，因为他在世的时候，世人就分散各地；法勒的兄弟名叫约坍。 20 约坍生亚摩答、沙列、哈萨玛非、耶拉、 21 哈多兰、乌萨、德拉、 22 以巴录、亚比玛利、示巴、 23 阿斐、哈腓拉、约巴。这些人都是约坍的儿子。
24 闪、亚法撒、沙拉、 25 希伯、法勒、拉吴、 26 西鹿、拿鹤、他拉、 27 亚伯兰，亚伯兰就是亚伯拉罕。
亚伯拉罕的子孙(B)
28 亚伯拉罕的儿子是以撒和以实玛利。 29 以下是他们的后代：以实玛利的长子是尼拜约，他其余的儿子是基达、押德别、米比衫、 30 米施玛、度玛、玛撒、哈达、提玛、 31 伊突、拿非施、基底玛；这些人都是以实玛利的儿子。 32 亚伯拉罕的妾基土拉所生的儿子，就是心兰、约珊、米但、米甸、伊施巴、书亚。约珊的儿子是示巴和底但。 33 米甸的儿子是以法、以弗、哈诺、亚比大、以勒大。这些人都是基土拉的子孙。 34 亚伯拉罕生以撒。以撒的儿子是以扫和以色列。 35 以扫的儿子是以利法、流珥、耶乌施、雅兰和可拉。 36 以利法的儿子是提幔、阿抹、洗玻、迦坦、基纳斯、亭纳和亚玛力。 37 流珥的儿子是拿哈、谢拉、沙玛和米撒。
西珥的子孙(C)
38 西珥的儿子是罗坍、朔巴、祭便、亚拿、底顺、以察和底珊。 39 罗坍的儿子是何利、荷幔；罗坍的妹妹是亭纳。 40 朔巴的儿子是亚勒、玛拿辖、以巴录、示非和阿南。祭便的儿子是亚雅和亚拿。 41 亚拿的儿子是底顺。底顺的儿子是哈默兰、伊是班、益兰和基兰。 42 以察的儿子是辟罕、撒番、耶亚干。底珊的儿子是乌斯和亚兰。
以东的众王(D)
43 以色列人没有君王统治的时候，在以东地作王的有以下这些人：比珥的儿子比拉，他的京城名叫亭哈巴。 44 比拉死了，波斯拉人谢拉的儿子约巴接续他作王。 45 约巴死了，来自提幔地的户珊接续他作王。 46 户珊死了，比达的儿子哈达接续他作王；这哈达就是在摩押的田野击败了米甸人的，他的京城名叫亚未得。 47 哈达死了，玛士利加人桑拉接续他作王。 48 桑拉死了，来自幼发拉底河旁边的利河伯的扫罗接续他作王。 49 扫罗死了，亚革波的儿子巴勒．哈南接续他作王。 50 巴勒．哈南死了，哈达接续他作王，他的京城名叫巴伊；他的妻子名叫米希他别，是米．萨合的孙女、玛特列的女儿。

51 哈达死了，以东人的族长有亭纳族长、亚勒瓦族长、耶帖族长、 52 阿何利巴玛族长、以拉族长、比嫩族长、 53 基纳斯族长、提幔族长、米比萨族长、 54 玛基叠族长、以兰族长，这些人都是以东的族长。

1 Adam,(B) (C)Seth, Enosh, 2 Cainan, Mahalalel, Jared, 3 Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech, 4 (D)Noah,[a] Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
5 (E)The sons of Japheth were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras. 6 The sons of Gomer were Ashkenaz, [b]Diphath, and Togarmah. 7 The sons of Javan were Elishah, [c]Tarshishah, Kittim, and [d]Rodanim.
8 (F)The sons of Ham were Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan. 9 The sons of Cush were Seba, Havilah, [e]Sabta, [f]Raama, and Sabtecha. The sons of Raama were Sheba and Dedan. 10 Cush (G)begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth. 11 Mizraim begot Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Naphtuhim, 12 Pathrusim, Casluhim (from whom came the Philistines and the (H)Caphtorim). 13 (I)Canaan begot Sidon, his firstborn, and Heth; 14 the Jebusite, the Amorite, and the Girgashite; 15 the Hivite, the Arkite, and the Sinite; 16 the Arvadite, the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
17 The sons of (J)Shem were Elam, Asshur, (K)Arphaxad, Lud, Aram, Uz, Hul, Gether, and [g]Meshech. 18 Arphaxad begot Shelah, and Shelah begot Eber. 19 To Eber were born two sons: the name of one was [h]Peleg, for in his days the [i]earth was divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan. 20 (L)Joktan begot Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah, 21 Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah, 22 [j]Ebal, Abimael, Sheba, 23 Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
24 (M)Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah, 25 (N)Eber, Peleg, Reu, 26 Serug, Nahor, Terah, 27 and (O)Abram, who is Abraham. 28 (P)The sons of Abraham were (Q)Isaac and (R)Ishmael.
The Family of Ishmael(S)
29 These are their genealogies: The (T)firstborn of Ishmael was Nebajoth; then Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, 30 Mishma, Dumah, Massa, [k]Hadad, Tema, 31 Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These were the sons of Ishmael.
The Family of Keturah(U)
32 Now (V)the sons born to Keturah, Abraham’s concubine, were Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. The sons of Jokshan were Sheba and Dedan. 33 The sons of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.
The Family of Isaac(W)
34 And (X)Abraham begot Isaac. (Y)The sons of Isaac were Esau and Israel. 35 The sons of (Z)Esau were Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jaalam, and Korah. 36 And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, [l]Zephi, Gatam, and Kenaz; and by (AA)Timna, Amalek. 37 The sons of Reuel were Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
The Family of Seir(AB)
38 (AC)The sons of Seir were Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan. 39 And the sons of Lotan were Hori and [m]Homam; Lotan’s sister was Timna. 40 The sons of Shobal were [n]Alian, Manahath, Ebal, [o]Shephi, and Onam. The sons of Zibeon were Ajah and Anah. 41 The son of Anah was (AD)Dishon. The sons of Dishon were [p]Hamran, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran. 42 The sons of Ezer were Bilhan, Zaavan, and [q]Jaakan. The sons of Dishan were Uz and Aran.
The Kings of Edom(AE)
43 Now these were the (AF)kings who reigned in the land of Edom before a king reigned over the children of Israel: Bela the son of Beor, and the name of his city was Dinhabah. 44 And when Bela died, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his place. 45 When Jobab died, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his place. 46 And when Husham died, Hadad the son of Bedad, who [r]attacked Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his place. The name of his city was Avith. 47 When Hadad died, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his place. 48 (AG)And when Samlah died, Saul of Rehoboth-by-the-River reigned in his place. 49 When Saul died, Baal-Hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his place. 50 And when Baal-Hanan died, [s]Hadad reigned in his place; and the name of his city was [t]Pai. His wife’s name was Mehetabel the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab. 51 Hadad died also. And the chiefs of Edom were Chief Timnah, Chief [u]Aliah, Chief Jetheth, 52 Chief Aholibamah, Chief Elah, Chief Pinon, 53 Chief Kenaz, Chief Teman, Chief Mibzar, 54 Chief Magdiel, and Chief Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom.
