¹³Canaan was the father of

Sidon his firstborn,^[a] and of the Hittites, ¹⁴Jebusites, Amorites, Girgashites,

¹²And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (of whom came the Philistines,) and Caphthorim.

¹³And Canaan begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth,
