23 但這「信」還未來以前，我們被看守在律法之下，像被圈住，直到那將來的「信」顯明出來。 24 這樣，律法是我們的啟蒙教師，直到基督來了[a]，好使我們因信稱義。 25 但這「信」既然來到，我們從此就不在啟蒙教師的手下了。

23 Before the coming of this faith,[a] we were held in custody(A) under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed.(B) 24 So the law was our guardian until Christ came(C) that we might be justified by faith.(D) 25 Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.(E)
