基督徒的自由
5 基督释放了我们，使我们得自由。所以你们当站立得稳，不要再被奴役的轭所束缚。 2 看，我保罗告诉你们：如果你们要受割礼，基督就对你们毫无益处了。 3 我再次忠告每一个受割礼的人：他有责任遵行全部律法[a]。 4 你们这些藉着律法被称为义的人，你们是与基督隔绝，从恩典中堕落了。 5 要知道，我们藉着圣灵，本于信，满怀着[b]称义的盼望； 6 因为在基督耶稣里，受割礼或不受割礼都没有用处，只有藉着爱行出来的信仰才有用处。
7 你们一向跑得很好，到底是谁拦阻了你们，使你们不信从真理呢？ 8 这种劝诱不是出于召唤你们的那一位。 9 一点点酵母能使整个面团发酵。 10 我在主里深信你们不会有别的思想；不过那搅扰你们的，无论他是谁，都将受到惩罚。 11 弟兄们，如果我仍然传讲割礼，我为什么还受逼迫呢？如果我这样做，十字架使人绊脚的地方早就没有了。 12 我真希望那些搅乱你们的人把自己阉割了！
13 弟兄们，你们蒙召是为了得自由，只是不可用这自由给肉体一个机会，而是要藉着爱彼此服事， 14 因为全部律法都在“要爱邻如己”[c]这一句话里得以满足了。 15 你们要当心！如果你们继续相咬相吞，恐怕就要彼此毁灭了。

16 所以我说：你们应当顺着圣灵行走，这样就绝不会去满足肉体的欲望了； 17 因为肉体的欲望与圣灵对立，圣灵也与肉体对立。这两者彼此反对，使你们不能做自己所愿意做的。 18 但如果你们被圣灵带领，就不在律法之下了。
19 肉体的行为是清清楚楚的，它们就是：通奸[d]、淫乱、污秽、好色、 20 拜偶像、行邪术[e]、仇恨、纷争、嫉恨、暴怒、争竞[f]、分裂、结派、 21 嫉妒、凶杀[g]、醉酒、荒宴以及类似这样的事。对这些事，我现在要预先告诉你们，就像我以前告诉过你们的那样：行这些事的人不会继承神的国。

Freedom of the Christian
5 Christ has liberated us to be free. Stand firm(A) then and don’t submit again to a yoke of slavery.(B) 2 Take note! I, Paul, tell you that if you get yourselves circumcised, Christ will not benefit you at all. 3 Again I testify to every man who gets himself circumcised that he is obligated to keep the entire law. 4 You who are trying to be justified by the law are alienated from Christ; you have fallen from grace.(C) 5 For through the Spirit, by faith, we eagerly wait(D) for the hope(E) of righteousness. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision accomplishes anything; what matters is faith(F) working through love.(G)
7 You were running well. Who prevented you from obeying the truth?(H) 8 This persuasion did not come from the One who called you.(I) 9 A little yeast leavens the whole lump of dough. 10 I have confidence in the Lord you will not accept any other view. But whoever it is that is confusing you will pay the penalty.(J) 11 Now brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross(K) has been abolished. 12 I wish those who are disturbing you might also get themselves castrated!
13 For you were called(L) to be free, brothers; only don’t use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled(M) in one statement: Love your neighbor as yourself.(N)[a] 15 But if you bite and devour(O) one another, watch out, or you will be consumed by one another.
The Spirit versus the Flesh
16 I say then, walk by the Spirit(P) and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires(Q) what is against the Spirit, and the Spirit desires what is against the flesh; these are opposed to each other, so that you don’t do what you want.(R) 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious:[b][c] sexual immorality,(S) moral impurity,(T) promiscuity,(U) 20 idolatry,(V) sorcery,(W) hatreds,(X) strife,(Y) jealousy,(Z) outbursts of anger,(AA) selfish ambitions,(AB) dissensions,(AC) factions,(AD) 21 envy,[d](AE) drunkenness, carousing,(AF) and anything similar. I tell you about these things in advance—as I told you before—that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.(AG)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit(AH) is love,(AI) joy,(AJ) peace, patience,(AK) kindness,(AL) goodness, faith,[e] 23 gentleness,(AM) self-control.(AN) Against such things there is no law. 24 Now those who belong to Christ Jesus(AO) have crucified the flesh(AP) with its passions and desires.(AQ) 25 Since we live(AR) by the Spirit, we must also follow the Spirit. 26 We must not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.(AS)

5 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
7 Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?
8 This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.
9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
10 I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.
12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you.
13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

7 你们向来跑得好，谁拦阻了你们，使你们不顺从真理呢？ 8 这种劝诱不是出于那召你们的。 9 一点面酵能使全团面发起来。 10 我在主里深信你们不会存别的意念；但那搅扰你们的，无论是谁，必定要受刑罚。 11 弟兄们，如果我仍旧传割礼，我为甚么还受迫害呢？若是这样，十字架绊倒人的地方就没有了。 12 我恨不得那些扰乱你们的人把自己阉割了！
13 弟兄们，你们蒙召得了自由；只是不可把这自由当作放纵情欲的机会，总要凭着爱心互相服事。 14 因为全部的律法，都在“爱人如己”这一句话里面成全了。 15 你们要谨慎，如果相咬相吞，恐怕彼此都要毁灭了。
肉体与圣灵为敌
16 我是说，你们应当顺着圣灵行事，这样就一定不会去满足肉体的私欲了。 17 因为肉体的私欲和圣灵敌对，圣灵也和肉体敌对；这两样互相敌对，使你们不能作自己愿意作的。 18 但你们若被圣灵引导，就不在律法以下了。 19 肉体所行的都是显而易见的，就如淫乱、污秽、邪荡、 20 拜偶像、行邪术、仇恨、争竞、忌恨、忿怒、自私、分党、结派、 21 嫉妒、醉酒、荒宴，和类似的事。我从前早就告诉过你们，现在又事先告诉你们：行这些事的人，必定不能承受 神的国。
圣灵的果子
22 但圣灵的果子是仁爱、喜乐、平安、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信实、 23 温柔、节制；这样的事，是没有律法禁止的。 24 属基督耶稣的人，是已经把肉体和邪情私欲都钉在十字架上了。 25 如果我们靠圣灵活着，就应该顺着圣灵行事。 26 我们不可贪图虚荣，彼此触怒，互相嫉妒。
