Galatians 5:4-14
New International Version
4 You who are trying to be justified by the law(A) have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.(B) 5 For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope.(C) 6 For in Christ Jesus(D) neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value.(E) The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.(F)
7 You were running a good race.(G) Who cut in on you(H) to keep you from obeying the truth? 8 That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you.(I) 9 “A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough.”(J) 10 I am confident(K) in the Lord that you will take no other view.(L) The one who is throwing you into confusion,(M) whoever that may be, will have to pay the penalty. 11 Brothers and sisters, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted?(N) In that case the offense(O) of the cross has been abolished. 12 As for those agitators,(P) I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!
Life by the Spirit
13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free.(Q) But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh[a];(R) rather, serve one another(S) humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”[b](T)

- Galatians 5:13 In contexts like this, the Greek word for flesh (sarx) refers to the sinful state of human beings, often presented as a power in opposition to the Spirit; also in verses 16, 17, 19 and 24; and in 6:8.

Galatians 5:4-14
King James Version
4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
7 Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?
8 This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.
9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
10 I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.
12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you.
13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
