2 天 地 万 物 都 造 齐 了 。
2 到 第 七 日 ， 神 造 物 的 工 已 经 完 毕 ， 就 在 第 七 日 歇 了 他 一 切 的 工 ， 安 息 了 。
3 神 赐 福 给 第 七 日 ， 定 为 圣 日 ； 因 为 在 这 日 ， 神 歇 了 他 一 切 创 造 的 工 ， 就 安 息 了 。
4 创 造 天 地 的 来 历 ， 在 耶 和 华 神 造 天 地 的 日 子 ， 乃 是 这 样 ，
5 野 地 还 没 有 草 木 ， 田 间 的 菜 蔬 还 没 有 长 起 来 ； 因 为 耶 和 华 神 还 没 有 降 雨 在 地 上 ， 也 没 有 人 耕 地 ，
6 但 有 雾 气 从 地 上 腾 ， 滋 润 遍 地 。
7 耶 和 华 神 用 地 上 的 尘 土 造 人 ， 将 生 气 吹 在 他 鼻 孔 里 ， 他 就 成 了 有 灵 的 活 人 ， 名 叫 亚 当 。
8 耶 和 华 神 在 东 方 的 伊 甸 立 了 一 个 园 子 ， 把 所 造 的 人 安 置 在 那 里 。
9 耶 和 华 神 使 各 样 的 树 从 地 里 长 出 来 ， 可 以 悦 人 的 眼 目 ， 其 上 的 果 子 好 作 食 物 。 园 子 当 中 又 有 生 命 树 和 分 别 善 恶 的 树 。
10 有 河 从 伊 甸 流 出 来 ， 滋 润 那 园 子 ， 从 那 里 分 为 四 道 ：
11 第 一 道 名 叫 比 逊 ， 就 是 环 绕 哈 腓 拉 全 地 的 。 在 那 里 有 金 子 ，
12 并 且 那 地 的 金 子 是 好 的 ； 在 那 里 又 有 珍 珠 和 红 玛 瑙 。
13 第 二 道 河 名 叫 基 训 ， 就 是 环 绕 古 实 全 地 的 。
14 第 三 道 河 名 叫 底 格 里 斯 ， 流 在 亚 述 的 东 边 。 第 四 道 河 就 是 伯 拉 河 。
15 耶 和 华 神 将 那 人 安 置 在 伊 甸 园 ， 使 他 修 理 ， 看 守 。
16 耶 和 华 神 吩 咐 他 说 ： 园 中 各 样 树 上 的 果 子 ， 你 可 以 随 意 吃 ，
17 只 是 分 别 善 恶 树 上 的 果 子 ， 你 不 可 吃 ， 因 为 你 吃 的 日 子 必 定 死 ！
18 耶 和 华 神 说 ： 那 人 独 居 不 好 ， 我 要 为 他 造 一 个 配 偶 帮 助 他 。
19 耶 和 华 神 用 土 所 造 成 的 野 地 各 样 走 兽 和 空 中 各 样 飞 鸟 都 带 到 那 人 面 前 ， 看 他 叫 甚 麽 。 那 人 怎 样 叫 各 样 的 活 物 ， 那 就 是 他 的 名 字 。
20 那 人 便 给 一 切 牲 畜 和 空 中 飞 鸟 、 野 地 走 兽 都 起 了 名 ； 只 是 那 人 没 有 遇 见 配 偶 帮 助 他 。
21 耶 和 华 神 使 他 沉 睡 ， 他 就 睡 了 ； 於 是 取 下 他 的 一 条 肋 骨 ， 又 把 肉 合 起 来 。
22 耶 和 华 神 就 用 那 人 身 上 所 取 的 肋 骨 造 成 一 个 女 人 ， 领 他 到 那 人 跟 前 。
23 那 人 说 ： 这 是 我 骨 中 的 骨 ， 肉 中 的 肉 ， 可 以 称 他 为 女 人 ， 因 为 他 是 从 男 人 身 上 取 出 来 的 。
24 因 此 ， 人 要 离 开 父 母 ， 与 妻 子 连 合 ， 二 人 成 为 一 体 。
25 当 时 夫 妻 二 人 赤 身 露 体 ， 并 不 羞 耻 。

2 Så fullbordades himlen och jorden med hela sin härskara. 2 På sjunde dagen hade Gud fullbordat sitt skapelseverk. Han vilade på sjunde dagen från hela det verk som han hade gjort. 3 Gud välsignade den sjunde dagen och helgade den, ty på den dagen vilade han från allt sitt verk som han hade skapat och gjort.
I. HIMLENS OCH JORDENS FORTSATTA HISTORIA 2:4-4:26
4 Detta är himlens och jordens fortsatta historia[a] sedan de skapats, då när Herren[b] Gud hade gjort jord och himmel.
5 Det växte ännu ingen buske på jorden och ingen ört hade ännu skjutit upp ur marken. Ty Herren Gud hade inte låtit det regna på jorden och det fanns ingen människa som kunde bruka den. 6 Men en dimma steg upp från jorden och vattnade hela marken. 7 Och Herren Gud formade människan av stoft från jorden[c] och blåste in livsande i hennes näsa. Så blev människan en levande själ.
8 Herren Gud planterade en lustgård i Eden, österut, och satte där människan som han hade format. 9 Och Herren Gud lät alla slags träd som var ljuvliga att se på och goda att äta av växa upp ur marken. Livets träd liksom trädet med kunskap om gott och ont satte han mitt i lustgården. 10 Från Eden gick en flod ut som vattnade lustgården och som sedan delade sig i fyra huvudgrenar. 11 Den första heter Pison. Det är den som flyter runt hela landet Havila, där det finns guld. 12 Guldet i det landet är gott och där finns också bdelliumharts och onyxsten. 13 Den andra floden heter Gihon. Det är den som flyter runt hela landet Kush. 14 Den tredje floden heter Hiddekel. Det är den som flyter öster om Assur. Den fjärde floden är Eufrat.
15 Herren Gud tog mannen och satte honom i Edens lustgård för att han skulle odla och bevara den. 16 Och Herren Gud gav mannen denna befallning: "Du kan fritt äta av alla träd i lustgården, 17 men av trädet med kunskap om gott och ont skall du inte äta, ty den dag du äter av det skall du döden dö."
18 Herren Gud sade: "Det är inte bra för mannen att vara ensam. Jag skall göra en medhjälpare åt honom, en som är hans like." 19 Herren Gud hade format alla markens djur och alla himlens fåglar av jord. Han förde fram dem till mannen för att se vad han skulle kalla dem. Så som mannen kallade varje levande varelse, så skulle den heta. 20 Och mannen gav namn åt alla boskapsdjur, åt himlens fåglar och åt alla markens vilda djur. Men åt mannen fanns ingen medhjälpare som var hans like.
21 Då lät Herren Gud en tung sömn falla över mannen, och när han hade somnat tog han ut ett av hans revben och fyllde dess plats med kött. 22 Och Herren Gud formade en kvinna av revbenet som han tagit av mannen och förde henne fram till honom. 23 Mannen sade:
"Denna är nu ben av mina ben
och kött av mitt kött.
Hon skall heta kvinna,
ty av man[d] har hon tagits."
24 Därför skall en man lämna sin far och sin mor och hålla sig till sin hustru, och de skall bli ett kött. 25 Och mannen och hans hustru var båda nakna utan att blygas för varandra.

2 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.(A)
2 By the seventh day(B) God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work.(C) 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy,(D) because on it he rested(E) from all the work of creating(F) that he had done.

4 This is the account(G) of the heavens and the earth when they were created,(H) when the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.
5 Now no shrub had yet appeared on the earth[a] and no plant had yet sprung up,(I) for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth(J) and there was no one to work the ground, 6 but streams[b] came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground. 7 Then the Lord God formed(K) a man[c](L) from the dust(M) of the ground(N) and breathed into his nostrils the breath(O) of life,(P) and the man became a living being.(Q)
8 Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden;(R) and there he put the man he had formed. 9 The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees(S) that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life(T) and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.(U)
10 A river(V) watering the garden flowed from Eden;(W) from there it was separated into four headwaters. 11 The name of the first is the Pishon; it winds through the entire land of Havilah,(X) where there is gold. 12 (The gold of that land is good; aromatic resin[d](Y) and onyx are also there.) 13 The name of the second river is the Gihon; it winds through the entire land of Cush.[e] 14 The name of the third river is the Tigris;(Z) it runs along the east side of Ashur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.(AA)
15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden(AB) to work it and take care of it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden;(AC) 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,(AD) for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”(AE)
18 The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”(AF)
19 Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals(AG) and all the birds in the sky.(AH) He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called(AI) each living creature,(AJ) that was its name. 20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals.
But for Adam[f] no suitable helper(AK) was found. 21 So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep;(AL) and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs[g] and then closed up the place with flesh. 22 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib[h](AM) he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
23 The man said,
“This is now bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;(AN)
she shall be called(AO) ‘woman,’
for she was taken out of man.(AP)”
24 That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united(AQ) to his wife, and they become one flesh.(AR)
25 Adam and his wife were both naked,(AS) and they felt no shame.
