9 ¶ Bondye beni Noe ak pitit li yo, li di yo. Fè pitit, fè anpil anpil pitit mete sou tè a.
2 Se pou tout zannimo sou latè, tout zwazo ki nan syèl la, tout bèt vivan ki sou latè, tout pwason ki nan lanmè bese tèt devan nou. Se pou yo pè nou. Mwen ban nou pouvwa sou yo tout.
3 Koulye a, nou gen dwa manje tout kalite bèt vivan k'ap mache, tout kalite fèy vèt. Mwen ban nou tout pou manje.
4 Tansèlman, se pa pou n' manje vyann ak tout san ladan l', paske san yon bèt se nanm li.
5 Konprann sa byen: si yon moun touye nou, m'ap fè l' rann mwen kont. M'ap fè tout bèt ki touye nou rann mwen kont. tout moun ki touye moun parèy yo gen pou rann mwen kont.
6 Si yon moun touye yon moun, yon lòt moun gen pou touye l' tou, paske Bondye kreye moun pòtre ak li.
7 Nou menm, se pou nou fè pitit, anpil pitit. Gaye kò nou toupatou sou latè, pou pitit nou yo toujou fè anpil pitit tou.
8 ¶ Bondye pale ankò ak Noe ansanm ak pitit li yo, li di yo:
9 -Men m'ap pase yon kontra ak nou tout ansanm ak tout pitit pitit k'ap vin apre nou yo.
10 M'ap pase kontra a ak tout bèt vivan ki la avèk nou yo, zwazo, zannimo domestik, bèt nan bwa, avèk tout sa ki soti nan batiman an pou peple sou latè ankò.
11 Wi, m'ap pase kontra mwen ak nou: mwen pwomèt pou m' pa janm voye gwo inondasyon ankò pou detwi tout moun ak tout bèt vivan yo. Konsa, p'ap janm gen gwo inondasyon ankò pou ravaje latè.
12 ¶ Bondye di ankò-Kontra m'ap pase avèk nou ansanm ak tout bèt vivan ki la avèk nou yo, se yon kontra k'ap la pou tout tan. M'ap ban nou yon siy pou li.
13 M'ap mete lakansyèl mwen nan syèl la. Men siy m'ap ban nou pou kontra mwen pase ak latè a.
14 Chak fwa m'a fè nwaj yo konmanse sanble, lakansyèl la va parèt nan syèl la.
15 Lè sa a, m'a chonje kontra mwen te fè avèk nou ansanm avèk tout kalite bèt vivan yo. p'ap janm gen gwo inondasyon ankò ki pou detwi tout moun ak tout bèt k'ap viv sou latè.
16 Lè lakansyèl la va parèt nan syèl la, m'a wè l', m'a chonje kontra mwen te pase pou tout tan ak tout moun ansanm ak tout kalite bèt k'ap viv sou latè.
17 Sa se siy kontra mwen pase ak tout moun ansanm ak tout bèt k'ap viv sou latè. Se konsa Bondye te pale ak Noe.
18 ¶ Men non pitit Noe yo ki te soti nan batiman an: Sèm, Kam ak Jafè. Kam se te papa Kanaran.
19 Se twa pitit Noe sa yo ki peple mete moun sou tout latè.
20 Noe se premye moun ki travay latè. Li plante yon jaden rezen.
21 Yon jou, apre li te fin bwè diven, li sou. Li wete tout rad sou li, li kouche toutouni anba tant li.
22 Lè Kam, papa Kanaran, wè papa l' toutouni, li ale di de frè l' yo sa.
23 Men, Sèm ak Jafè pran yon gwo rad, yo chak pran yon bout, yo pase l' dèyè do yo, yo kenbe l' anwo zepòl yo. Yo mache pa do, yo antre, yo kouvri papa yo san yo pa janm vire tèt yo gade dèyè. Konsa yo pa wè papa yo toutouni.
24 ¶ Lè Noe soti anba toudisman diven l' lan, yo di l' sa dezyèm pitit gason l' lan te fè l'.
25 Li di. Madichon pou Kanaran! Se pou l' tounen dènye klas esklav frè l' yo.
26 Li di ankò. Lwanj pou Seyè a, Bondye Sèm lan. Se pou Kanaran tounen esklav Sèm.
27 Se pou Bondye mete sou byen Jafè yo. Se pou pitit pitit Jafè yo viv byen ak pitit Sèm yo. Se pou Kanaran tounen esklav yo.
28 ¶ Apre gwo inondasyon an, Noe viv twasansenkantan (350 an).
29 Lè l' mouri, li te gen nèfsansenkantan (950 an).

9 (A)Ọlọ́run sì súre fún Noa àti àwọn ọmọ rẹ̀ wí pé, “Ẹ máa bí sí i, kí ẹ sì pọ̀ ní iye, kí ẹ sì kún ayé. 2 Ẹ̀rù yín yóò mú ojo wà lára gbogbo ẹranko àti gbogbo ẹyẹ ojú ọ̀run, àti gbogbo àwọn ẹ̀dá tí ń rìn nílẹ̀; àti gbogbo ẹja Òkun; a fi wọ́n lé e yín lọ́wọ́. 3 Gbogbo ohun tó wà láààyè tí ó sì ń rìn, ni yóò jẹ́ oúnjẹ fún un yín, bí mo ṣe fi ewéko fún un yín náà ni mo fi ohun gbogbo fún un yín.
4 (B)“Ṣùgbọ́n ẹ̀yin kò gbọdọ̀ jẹ ẹran tòun-tẹ̀jẹ̀ rẹ̀. 5 Nítòótọ́ ẹ̀jẹ̀ yín, àní ẹ̀mí yín, ni èmi yóò sì béèrè; lọ́wọ́ gbogbo ẹranko ni èmí yóò béèrè rẹ̀, àti lọ́wọ́ ènìyàn, lọ́wọ́ arákùnrin olúkúlùkù ènìyàn ni èmi yóò béèrè ẹ̀mí ènìyàn.
6 (C)“Ẹnikẹ́ni tí ó bá ta ẹ̀jẹ̀ ènìyàn sílẹ̀,
láti ọwọ́ ènìyàn ni a ó gbà ta ẹ̀jẹ̀ rẹ̀ sílẹ̀.

7 (D)Ṣùgbọ́n ní tiyín, ẹ máa bí sí i, kí ẹ sì máa pọ̀ sí i, ẹ máa gbá yìn lórí ilẹ̀, kí ẹ sì pọ̀ sí i lórí rẹ̀.”
8 Ọlọ́run sì wí fún Noa àti àwọn ọmọ rẹ̀ pé: 9 “Mo dá májẹ̀mú mi pẹ̀lú yín àti pẹ̀lú àwọn ìran yín tí ń bọ̀ lẹ́yìn. 10 Àti pẹ̀lú gbogbo ẹ̀dá alààyè tí ó wà pẹ̀lú yín, ìbá à ṣe ẹyẹ, ẹja, ẹran ọ̀sìn, ẹranko igbó, gbogbo ohun tí ó jáde kúrò nínú ọkọ̀ pẹ̀lú yín, àní gbogbo ẹ̀dá alààyè ní ayé. 11 Mo dá májẹ̀mú mi pẹ̀lú yín, láéláé, Èmi kì yóò fi ìkún omi pa ayé run kúrò mọ láéláé, a kì yóò fi omi pa ayé run.”
12 Ọlọ́run sì wí pé, “Èyí ni ààmì májẹ̀mú tí mo ń dá yìí láàrín èmi àti ẹ̀yin àti ẹ̀dá alààyè tí ó wà pẹ̀lú yín, májẹ̀mú àtìrandíran tó ń bọ̀: 13 Mo ti fi òṣùmàrè sí àwọsánmọ̀, yóò sì jẹ́ ààmì májẹ̀mú láàrín èmi àti ayé. 14 Nígbàkúgbà tí mo bá mú kí òjò ṣú, tí òṣùmàrè bá farahàn ní àwọsánmọ̀. 15 Èmi yóò rántí májẹ̀mú mi, tí ó wà láàrín èmi àti ẹ̀yin àti gbogbo ẹ̀dá alààyè, kì yóò sì tún sí ìkún omi mọ́ láti pa gbogbo ẹ̀dá run. 16 Nígbàkígbà tí òṣùmàrè bá yọ ní àwọsánmọ̀, èmi yóò rí i, èmi yóò sì rántí májẹ̀mú ayérayé tí ń bẹ láàrín Ọlọ́run àti gbogbo ẹ̀dá alààyè tí ń bẹ ní ayé.”
17 Ọlọ́run sì wí fún Noa pé, “Èyí ni ààmì májẹ̀mú tí mo ti fi ìdí rẹ̀ múlẹ̀ láàrín èmi àti gbogbo alààyè ní ayé.”

18 Àwọn ọmọ Noa tí ó jáde nínú ọkọ̀ ni Ṣemu, Hamu àti Jafeti. (Hamu ni baba Kenaani). 19 Láti ọ̀dọ̀ àwọn ọmọ Noa mẹ́tẹ̀ẹ̀ta yìí ni gbogbo ènìyàn ti tàn ká gbogbo ilẹ̀ ayé.
20 Noa bẹ̀rẹ̀ iṣẹ́ àgbẹ̀, ó sì gbin ọgbà àjàrà. 21 Ó mu àmupara nínú ọtí wáìnì àjàrà rẹ̀, ó sì tú ara rẹ̀ sí ìhòhò, ó sì sùn nínú àgọ́ rẹ̀. 22 Hamu tí í ṣe baba Kenaani sì rí baba rẹ̀ ní ìhòhò bẹ́ẹ̀ ni ó sì lọ sọ fún àwọn arákùnrin rẹ̀ méjèèjì ní ìta. 23 Ṣùgbọ́n Ṣemu àti Jafeti mú aṣọ lé èjìká wọn, wọ́n sì fi ẹ̀yìn rìn, wọ́n sì bo ìhòhò baba wọn. Wọ́n kọjú sẹ́yìn kí wọn kí ó má ba à rí ìhòhò baba wọn.
24 Nígbà tí Noa kúrò ní ojú ọtí, tí ó sì mọ ohun tí ọmọ rẹ̀ kékeré ṣe sí i. 25 Ó wí pé:
“Ègún ni fún Kenaani.
Ìránṣẹ́ àwọn ìránṣẹ́ ni yóò máa ṣe
fún àwọn arákùnrin rẹ̀.”
26 Ó sì tún wí pé;
“Olùbùkún ni Olúwa, Ọlọ́run Ṣemu
Kenaani yóò máa ṣe ẹrú fún Ṣemu.
27 Ọlọ́run yóò mú Jafeti gbilẹ̀,
Jafeti yóò máa gbé ní àgọ́ Ṣemu
Kenaani yóò sì jẹ́ ẹrú fún un.”
28 Noa wà láààyè fún irínwó ọdún ó-dínàádọ́ta (350) lẹ́yìn ìkún omi. 29 Àpapọ̀ ọjọ́ ayé Noa jẹ́ ẹgbẹ̀rún-dín-ní-àádọ́ta ọdún, (950) ó sì kú.

9 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.
4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.
6 Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.
7 And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.
8 And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying,
9 And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;
10 And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth.
11 And I will establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.
12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.
17 And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.
18 And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan.
19 These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.
20 And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:
21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.
22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.
23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.
24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.
25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
26 And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
27 God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
28 And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years.
29 And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died.
