6 地上的饑荒已經兩年了，我們還有五年不能種、不能收。 7 上帝差我先來，是要為你們保留後代，又要大施拯救，保住你們的性命。 8 這樣看來，不是你們，是上帝把我送到這裡的。祂使我成為法老的宰相，管理他的家和整個埃及。

6 For two years now there has been famine(A) in the land, and for the next five years there will be no plowing and reaping. 7 But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant(B) on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance.[a](C)
8 “So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God.(D) He made me father(E) to Pharaoh, lord of his entire household and ruler of all Egypt.(F)
