12 父テラが死んだ時、主はアブラムに命じました。「あなたは、ここを発ちなさい。あなたの親族も住み慣れた地も捨てて出かけるのです。行く先はわたしが教えるから、ただ示されたとおりに進みなさい。 2 そうすれば、あなたを偉大な国民の父にしよう。あなたを祝福し、その名を広めて、だれ一人知らぬ者がないようにしよう。あなたによって、ほかの多くの者も祝福されます。 3 わたしは、あなたを祝福する者を祝福し、あなたをのろう者をのろう。アブラムによって、全世界が祝福されるのです。」
