¹⁷上帝把這些光體擺列在天空，讓它們發光普照大地， ¹⁸管理晝夜，分開明暗。上帝看了，感到滿意。 ¹⁹晚上過去，早晨到來，這是第四天。

New International Version

¹⁷God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, ¹⁸to govern the day and the night,^(A) and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good.^(B) ¹⁹And there was evening, and there was morning^(C)—the fourth day.
