⁸他要把牠们带到祭司那里，祭司就要先献上作为赎罪祭的一只，把鸟的头从颈项上扭断，只是不可撕断。 ⁹然后他要把赎罪祭牲的一些血，弹在祭坛旁边，其余的血要在祭坛脚那里挤出来；这是赎罪祭。 ¹⁰第二只作为燔祭的鸟，要按照燔祭的规则献上，祭司为他的罪行赎罪，他就蒙赦免。

King James Version

⁸And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin offering first, and wring off his head from his neck, but shall not divide it asunder:

⁹And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a sin offering.

¹⁰And he shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the manner: and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.

⁸They are to bring them to the priest, who shall first offer the one for the sin offering. He is to wring its head from its neck,^(A) not dividing it completely,^(B) ⁹and is to splash^(C) some of the blood of the sin offering against the side of the altar;^(D) the rest of the blood must be drained out at the base of the altar.^(E) It is a sin offering. ¹⁰The priest shall then offer the other as a burnt offering in the prescribed way^(F) and make atonement^(G) for them for the sin they have committed, and they will be forgiven.^(H)
