8 [a]Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 9 “Command Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is (A)the law for the burnt offering: the burnt offering itself shall remain on the hearth on the altar all night until the morning, and (B)the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it. 10 And the priest shall put on (C)his linen robe, and he shall put on undergarments next to his flesh; and he shall raise up the [b]ashes to which the fire [c]reduces the burnt offering on the altar and place them beside the altar.

The Law of the Burnt Offering
8 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 9 “Command Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the (A)law of the burnt offering: The burnt offering shall be on the hearth upon the altar all night until morning, and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning on it. 10 (B)And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen trousers he shall put on his body, and take up the ashes of the burnt offering which the fire has consumed on the altar, and he shall put them (C)beside the altar.
