6 耶和华说：“看啊，他们同属一个民族，都用同一种语言，现在就做这样的事，如果继续下去，他们会为所欲为。 7 让我们下去变乱他们的语言，使他们彼此言语不通。” 8 于是，耶和华把他们从那里分散到世界各地，他们便不再建造那城了。

6 The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language(A) they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us(B) go down(C) and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.”(D)
8 So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth,(E) and they stopped building the city.

6 And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
