20 他们进城后，以利沙祷告：“耶和华啊，求你开他们的眼睛，让他们看见。”耶和华开了他们的眼睛，他们就看见了，发现自己在撒玛利亚城中。 21 以色列王看见他们，问以利沙说：“我父啊，我可以杀他们吗？” 22 以利沙答道：“不可杀他们。岂可杀从战场上抓来的俘虏呢？给他们吃的喝的，让他们回自己主人那里吧。”

20 After they entered the city, Elisha said, “Lord, open the eyes of these men so they can see.” Then the Lord opened their eyes and they looked, and there they were, inside Samaria.
21 When the king of Israel saw them, he asked Elisha, “Shall I kill them, my father?(A) Shall I kill them?”
22 “Do not kill them,” he answered. “Would you kill those you have captured(B) with your own sword or bow? Set food and water before them so that they may eat and drink and then go back to their master.”

20 As soon as they entered Samaria, Elisha said, “O Lord, (A)open the eyes of these men, that they may see.” So the Lord opened their eyes and they saw, and behold, they were in the midst of Samaria. 21 As soon as the king of Israel saw them, he said to Elisha, (B)“My father, shall I strike them down? Shall I strike them down?” 22 He answered, “You shall not strike them down. Would you strike down those whom you have taken captive (C)with your sword and with your bow? (D)Set bread and water before them, that they may eat and drink and go to their master.”
