16 以利沙说：“明年这时候[a]，你必抱一个儿子。”她说：“神人，我主啊，不要这样欺哄婢女。” 17 妇人果然怀孕，到了明年那时候，生了一个儿子，正如以利沙向她所说的。
18 孩子长大，一日出去到他父亲和收割的人那里。

16 “About this time(A) next year,” Elisha said, “you will hold a son in your arms.”
“No, my lord!” she objected. “Please, man of God, don’t mislead your servant!”
17 But the woman became pregnant, and the next year about that same time she gave birth to a son, just as Elisha had told her.
18 The child grew, and one day he went out to his father, who was with the reapers.(B)

17 And the woman conceived, and bare a son at that season that Elisha had said unto her, according to the time of life.
18 And when the child was grown, it fell on a day, that he went out to his father to the reapers.
