11 亞哈謝的母親亞他利雅看見自己的兒子死了，就起來消滅王室所有的後裔。 2 但約蘭王的女兒，亞哈謝的妹妹約示巴，把亞哈謝的兒子約阿施從正要被殺的王子中偷了出來，把他和他的乳母藏在臥室裡面；他們把他收藏起來，躲避亞他利雅，免得他被殺死。

Athaliah and Joash(A)
11 When Athaliah(B) the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she proceeded to destroy the whole royal family. 2 But Jehosheba, the daughter of King Jehoram[a] and sister of Ahaziah, took Joash(C) son of Ahaziah and stole him away from among the royal princes, who were about to be murdered. She put him and his nurse in a bedroom to hide him from Athaliah; so he was not killed.(D)
