⁴⁹后来，亚哈的儿子亚哈谢请求约沙法让他的人跟约沙法的人一起出海，但约沙法拒绝了。 ⁵⁰约沙法与祖先同眠后葬在大卫城他的祖坟里。他儿子约兰继位。

⁵¹犹大王约沙法执政第十七年，亚哈的儿子亚哈谢在撒玛利亚登基做以色列王，执政两年。

New International Version

⁴⁹At that time Ahaziah son of Ahab said to Jehoshaphat, “Let my men sail with yours,” but Jehoshaphat refused.

⁵⁰Then Jehoshaphat rested with his ancestors and was buried with them in the city of David his father. And Jehoram his son succeeded him as king.

⁵¹Ahaziah son of Ahab became king of Israel in Samaria in the seventeenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and he reigned over Israel two years.

⁴⁹Then said Ahaziah the son of Ahab unto Jehoshaphat, Let my servants go with thy servants in the ships. But Jehoshaphat would not.

⁵⁰And Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Jehoram his son reigned in his stead.

⁵¹Ahaziah the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria the seventeenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and reigned two years over Israel.
