21 耶斯列人拿伯在耶斯列有一個葡萄園，靠近撒瑪利亞王亞哈的王宮。 2 亞哈對拿伯說：“把你的葡萄園讓給我，我可以用作菜園，因為你的葡萄園靠近我的王宮。我要把一個更好的葡萄園與你交換。如果你喜歡，我也可以按市價給你銀子。” 3 可是拿伯對亞哈說：“耶和華絕對不容許我把祖業給你。” 4 亞哈因為耶斯列人拿伯對他說：“我不能把祖業給你”，就悶悶不樂回到宮裡。他躺在床上，臉朝向內，也不吃飯。
耶洗別獻計
5 他的妻子耶洗別進來見他，問他說：“你為甚麼心裡這麼煩悶，連飯也不吃呢？” 6 亞哈回答她說：“因為我對耶斯列人拿伯說：‘把你的葡萄園讓給我，我付你銀子；或者你喜歡的話，我可以用另一個葡萄園與你交換’；可是他說：‘我不能把我的葡萄園讓給你。’” 7 他的妻子耶洗別對他說：“你現在不是統治以色列的王嗎？只管起來吃飯，心神暢快，我必能把耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄園給你。” 8 於是耶洗別以亞哈的名義寫了一些信，蓋上王的印章，然後把這些信送給那些住在拿伯城裡的長老和貴胄。 9 她在信上寫著說：“你們要宣告禁食，使拿伯坐在民間的首位上。 10 又叫兩個匪徒坐在拿伯的對面，作見證控告他說：‘你曾經咒詛 神和君王’；然後把他拉出去，用石頭把他打死。”
拿伯被殺害
11 於是拿伯城裡的人，就是那些與拿伯同住一城的長老和貴胄，都照著耶洗別送給他們的信上所寫的去行。 12 他們宣告禁食，使拿伯坐在民間的首席上。 13 然後兩個匪徒來坐在拿伯的對面。這兩個流氓當眾作見證控告拿伯，說：“拿伯曾經咒詛 神和君王。”眾人就把拿伯拉出城外，用石頭打他，把他打死了。 14 於是他們派人去見耶洗別，說：“拿伯已經被人用石頭打死了。”
亞哈霸佔葡萄園
15 耶洗別聽見拿伯已經被人用石頭打死了，就對亞哈說：“你起來，去佔有那耶斯列人拿伯從前不肯收銀子給你的葡萄園，因為拿伯現在沒有命了，他已經死了。” 16 亞哈聽見拿伯已經死了，就起來，下到耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄園那裡去，要佔有那園。
以利亞責備亞哈之惡行
17 那時，耶和華的話臨到提斯比人以利亞說： 18 “你起來，下去迎見住在撒瑪利亞的以色列王亞哈，他現在正在耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄園裡。他下到那裡去，是要佔有那個園。 19 你要對他說：‘耶和華這樣說：你殺了人，又佔有他的產業嗎？’你又要對他說：‘耶和華這樣說：狗在甚麼地方舔拿伯的血，也必在甚麼地方舔你的血。’” 20 亞哈對以利亞說：“我的仇人哪，你找到了我嗎？”以利亞說：“我找到你了，因為你出賣了你自己，去行耶和華看為惡的事。 21 耶和華說：‘看哪，我必使災禍臨到你，除滅你的後代，在以色列中屬亞哈的男丁，無論是自由的，或是不自由的，我都要除滅。 22 我要使你的家像尼八的兒子耶羅波安的家，又像亞希雅的兒子巴沙的家，因為你惹我發怒，又因為你使以色列人陷在罪中。’ 23 至於耶洗別，耶和華也說：‘狗必在耶斯列的地方吃耶洗別的肉。 24 屬亞哈的人，死在城裡的，必被野狗吃掉；死在田野的，必被空中的飛鳥吃掉。’”

Naboth Is Murdered for His Vineyard
21 And it came to pass after these things that Naboth the Jezreelite had a vineyard which was in (A)Jezreel, next to the palace of Ahab king of Samaria. 2 So Ahab spoke to Naboth, saying, “Give me your (B)vineyard, that I may have it for a vegetable garden, because it is near, next to my house; and for it I will give you a vineyard better than it. Or, if it seems good to you, I will give you its worth in money.”
3 But Naboth said to Ahab, “The Lord forbid (C)that I should give the inheritance of my fathers to you!”
4 So Ahab went into his house sullen and displeased because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him; for he had said, “I will not give you the inheritance of my fathers.” And he lay down on his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no food. 5 But (D)Jezebel his wife came to him, and said to him, “Why is your spirit so sullen that you eat no food?”
6 He said to her, “Because I spoke to Naboth the Jezreelite, and said to him, ‘Give me your vineyard for money; or else, if it pleases you, I will give you another vineyard for it.’ And he answered, ‘I will not give you my vineyard.’ ”
7 Then Jezebel his wife said to him, “You now exercise authority over Israel! Arise, eat food, and let your heart be cheerful; I will give you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.”
8 And she wrote letters in Ahab’s name, sealed them with his seal, and sent the letters to the elders and the nobles who were dwelling in the city with Naboth. 9 She wrote in the letters, saying,
Proclaim a fast, and seat Naboth [a]with high honor among the people; 10 and seat two men, scoundrels, before him to bear witness against him, saying, “You have (E)blasphemed God and the king.” Then take him out, and (F)stone him, that he may die.
11 So the men of his city, the elders and nobles who were inhabitants of his city, did as Jezebel had sent to them, as it was written in the letters which she had sent to them. 12 (G)They proclaimed a fast, and seated Naboth with high honor among the people. 13 And two men, scoundrels, came in and sat before him; and the scoundrels (H)witnessed against him, against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, “Naboth has blasphemed God and the king!” (I)Then they took him outside the city and stoned him with stones, so that he died. 14 Then they sent to Jezebel, saying, “Naboth has been stoned and is dead.”
15 And it came to pass, when Jezebel heard that Naboth had been stoned and was dead, that Jezebel said to Ahab, “Arise, take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, which he refused to give you for money; for Naboth is not alive, but dead.” 16 So it was, when Ahab heard that Naboth was dead, that Ahab got up and went down to take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.
The Lord Condemns Ahab
17 (J)Then the word of the Lord came to (K)Elijah the Tishbite, saying, 18 “Arise, go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, (L)who lives in Samaria. There he is, in the vineyard of Naboth, where he has gone down to take possession of it. 19 You shall speak to him, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Have you murdered and also taken possession?” ’ And you shall speak to him, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord: (M)“In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth, dogs shall lick your blood, even yours.” ’ ”
20 So Ahab said to Elijah, (N)“Have you found me, O my enemy?”
And he answered, “I have found you, because (O)you have sold yourself to do evil in the sight of the Lord: 21 ‘Behold, (P)I will bring calamity on you. I will take away your (Q)posterity, and will cut off from Ahab (R)every male in Israel, both (S)bond and free. 22 I will make your house like the house of (T)Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of (U)Baasha the son of Ahijah, because of the provocation with which you have provoked Me to anger, and made Israel sin.’ 23 And (V)concerning Jezebel the Lord also spoke, saying, ‘The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the [b]wall of Jezreel.’ 24 The dogs shall eat (W)whoever belongs to Ahab and dies in the city, and the birds of the air shall eat whoever dies in the field.”
25 But (X)there was no one like Ahab who sold himself to do wickedness in the sight of the Lord, (Y)because Jezebel his wife [c]stirred him up. 26 And he behaved very abominably in following idols, according to all (Z)that the Amorites had done, whom the Lord had cast out before the children of Israel.
27 So it was, when Ahab heard those words, that he tore his clothes and (AA)put sackcloth on his body, and fasted and lay in sackcloth, and went about mourning.
28 And the word of the Lord came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying, 29 “See how Ahab has humbled himself before Me? Because he (AB)has humbled himself before Me, I will not bring the calamity in his days. (AC)In the days of his son I will bring the calamity on his house.”

2 亚 哈 对 拿 伯 说 ： 你 将 你 的 葡 萄 园 给 我 作 菜 园 ， 因 为 是 靠 近 我 的 宫 ； 我 就 把 更 好 的 葡 萄 园 换 给 你 ， 或 是 你 要 银 子 ， 我 就 按 着 价 值 给 你 。
3 拿 伯 对 亚 哈 说 ： 我 敬 畏 耶 和 华 ， 万 不 敢 将 我 先 人 留 下 的 产 业 给 你 。

6 他 回 答 说 ： 因 我 向 耶 斯 列 人 拿 伯 说 ： 你 将 你 的 葡 萄 园 给 我 ， 我 给 你 价 银 ， 或 是 你 愿 意 ， 我 就 把 别 的 葡 萄 园 换 给 你 ； 他 却 说 ： 我 不 将 我 的 葡 萄 园 给 你 。
7 王 后 耶 洗 别 对 亚 哈 说 ： 你 现 在 是 治 理 以 色 列 国 不 是 ？ 只 管 起 来 ， 心 里 畅 畅 快 快 地 吃 饭 ， 我 必 将 耶 斯 列 人 拿 伯 的 葡 萄 园 给 你 。
8 於 是 托 亚 哈 的 名 写 信 ， 用 王 的 印 印 上 ， 送 给 那 些 与 拿 伯 同 城 居 住 的 长 老 贵 胄 。
9 信 上 写 着 说 ： 你 们 当 宣 告 禁 食 ， 叫 拿 伯 坐 在 民 间 的 高 位 上 ，
10 又 叫 两 个 匪 徒 坐 在 拿 伯 对 面 ， 作 见 证 告 他 说 ： 你 谤 渎 神 和 王 了 ； 随 後 就 把 他 拉 出 去 用 石 头 打 死 。
11 那 些 与 拿 伯 同 城 居 住 的 长 老 贵 胄 得 了 耶 洗 别 的 信 ， 就 照 信 而 行 ，
12 宣 告 禁 食 ， 叫 拿 伯 坐 在 民 间 的 高 位 上 。
13 有 两 个 匪 徒 来 ， 坐 在 拿 伯 的 对 面 ， 当 着 众 民 作 见 证 告 他 说 ： 拿 伯 谤 渎 神 和 王 了 ！ 众 人 就 把 他 拉 到 城 外 ， 用 石 头 打 死 。
14 於 是 打 发 人 去 见 耶 洗 别 ， 说 ： 拿 伯 被 石 头 打 死 了 。
15 耶 洗 别 听 见 拿 伯 被 石 头 打 死 ， 就 对 亚 哈 说 ： 你 起 来 得 耶 斯 列 人 拿 伯 不 肯 为 价 银 给 你 的 葡 萄 园 罢 ！ 现 在 他 已 经 死 了 。
16 亚 哈 听 见 拿 伯 死 了 ， 就 起 来 ， 下 去 要 得 耶 斯 列 人 拿 伯 的 葡 萄 园 。
17 耶 和 华 的 话 临 到 提 斯 比 人 以 利 亚 说 ：
18 你 起 来 ， 去 见 住 撒 玛 利 亚 的 以 色 列 王 亚 哈 ， 他 下 去 要 得 拿 伯 的 葡 萄 园 ， 现 今 正 在 那 园 里 。
19 你 要 对 他 说 ： 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ： 你 杀 了 人 ， 又 得 他 的 产 业 麽 ？ 又 要 对 他 说 ： 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ： 狗 在 何 处 舔 拿 伯 的 血 ， 也 必 在 何 处 舔 你 的 血 。
20 亚 哈 对 以 利 亚 说 ： 我 仇 敌 啊 ， 你 找 到 我 麽 ？ 他 回 答 说 ： 我 找 到 你 了 ； 因 为 你 卖 了 自 己 ， 行 耶 和 华 眼 中 看 为 恶 的 事 。
21 耶 和 华 说 ： 我 必 使 灾 祸 临 到 你 ， 将 你 除 尽 。 凡 属 你 的 男 丁 ， 无 论 困 住 的 、 自 由 的 ， 都 从 以 色 列 中 剪 除 。
22 我 必 使 你 的 家 像 尼 八 的 儿 子 耶 罗 波 安 的 家 ， 又 像 亚 希 雅 的 儿 子 巴 沙 的 家 ； 因 为 你 惹 我 发 怒 ， 又 使 以 色 列 人 陷 在 罪 里 。
23 论 到 耶 洗 别 ， 耶 和 华 也 说 ： 狗 在 耶 斯 列 的 外 郭 必 吃 耶 洗 别 的 肉 。
24 凡 属 亚 哈 的 人 ， 死 在 城 中 的 必 被 狗 吃 ， 死 在 田 野 的 必 被 空 中 的 鸟 吃 。
25 （ 从 来 没 有 像 亚 哈 的 ， 因 他 自 卖 ， 行 耶 和 华 眼 中 看 为 恶 的 事 ， 受 了 王 后 耶 洗 别 的 耸 动 ；
26 就 照 耶 和 华 在 以 色 列 人 面 前 所 赶 出 的 亚 摩 利 人 ， 行 了 最 可 憎 恶 的 事 ， 信 从 偶 像 。 ）

28 耶 和 华 的 话 临 到 提 斯 比 人 以 利 亚 说 ：
29 亚 哈 在 我 面 前 这 样 自 卑 ， 你 看 见 了 麽 ？ 因 他 在 我 面 前 自 卑 ， 他 还 在 世 的 时 候 ， 我 不 降 这 祸 ； 到 他 儿 子 的 时 候 ， 我 必 降 这 祸 与 他 的 家 。
