11 除了埃及公主以外，所罗门王还宠爱许多外邦女子，有摩押人、亚扪人、以东人、西顿人和赫人。 2 耶和华曾告诉以色列人不可跟这些外族人通婚，免得受引诱去随从他们的神明，所罗门却迷恋这些女子。 3 他有七百个妻子，都是外国的公主，还有三百个妃嫔。这些女子使他的心背弃耶和华。

11 But Sh’lomo Hamelech loved nashim nokhriyyot rabbot (many foreign women), besides Bat Pharaoh: Moaviyyot, Ammoniyyot, Adomiyyot, Tzedeniyyot, Chittiyyot,
2 Of the Goyim concerning which Hashem said unto the Bnei Yisroel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you; for surely they will turn away your levav after their elohim; Sh’lomo made his deveykus unto these in love.
3 And he had nashim sarot sheva me’ot (seven hundred royal wives), and three hundred pilagshim; and his nashim inclined libo (his heart).

Solomon’s Heart Turns from the Lord
11 But (A)King Solomon loved (B)many foreign women, as well as the daughter of Pharaoh: women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians, and Hittites— 2 from the nations of whom the Lord had said to the children of Israel, (C)“You shall not intermarry with them, nor they with you. Surely they will turn away your hearts after their gods.” Solomon clung to these in love. 3 And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines; and his wives turned away his heart.
